Perfect for jewelers

Pros

Swim works really well for jewelers as it covers all the small but important details for us like cut, clarity, color, size and more.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that it is a bit on the pricey side and I personally prefer to pay one time upfront instead of dealing with a constant monthly fee.

Packed with features but lacks service

Pros

It has everything I needed for our jewelry store. Such as it came with features like inventory tracking, repair tracking, appraisals and even tools to keep our clients organized.

Cons

Learning how to use it was not easy. I am usually good at figuring things out on my own but this one was a struggle. I booked two walkthrough sessions to get some guidance but Swim never called me. I reached out through email multiple times to reschedule and I did not hear back at all. Well I am pretty disappointed with how poor the service has been.

Great software solution for jewelers of all sizes

Pros

Swim software is simply the best. It is fully cloud-based, we do not have to worry about offsite backups and everything stays secure and encrypted. Everyone on our team can use it easily. And it is especially helpful for jewelers with workshops for tracking repairs and custom jobs is smooth. Also you can send receipts through email or SMS if that's your style even though printing is still an option too. Notifying customers by text when their item or quote is ready is quite convenient. The user interface is clean and easy to use. Sales data is easy to pull with different report templates or we can export to CSV and build your own in Excel or Numbers. Like it does not matter what device or OS we are on, we can log in from anywhere. Also Octahedron actually listens when we share feedback or ideas.

Cons

The time zone difference since it is in Australia and we are in the UK makes things difficult for us if there is ever a glitch. But honestly that kind of issue hardly ever happens. It's been running very well for at least a year now with zero downtime.
