Pros

Once you master the program, the possibilities are endless! It's extremely helpful with generating reports and credit notes.

Cons

I found the learning curve for Texada to be difficult and time consuming, but once I mastered it the experience was great!

Still learning the software, but comparable to another software i have experienced. Good.

Pros

Learning the software is fairly easy. In other words, it is not difficult to understand. I would like to attend webinars to learn more about the features I currently don't use.

Cons

Sometimes it can be difficult to navigate due to the numerous tabs and folders. I occasionally struggle to find what I am looking for but I am still in the learning phase.

Happy with the support but expect more from the software. I like the direction it is heading in.

Pros

Once we became familiar with the software, we found that it offers most of the functionality we need. I believe it's heading in the right direction. The email functionality has greatly improved and made tasks much easier. This year, we started using POs, Re-Order Reports, Sale Orders, and Work Orders, which simplified our processes. We tested the reservation feature but found it too slow for our fast-paced business.

Cons

Learning and understanding the system can be difficult, especially for new staff members. Also I am not a fan of the reservation system either. It would be helpful to have a "day at a glance" feature similar to what Point of Rental offers. This feature would provide a clear and easy-to-read layout on screen, allowing us to view and make changes to reservations without the need for constant searching. Having the ability to view deliveries and pick-ups would also be beneficial. I find it time-consuming to print reports constantly, and the booking report took me a while to figure out. It would be more efficient if the parameters I entered for reports remained the same instead of resetting each time.

I'm getting to know the software well.

Pros

Texada software is user-friendly, and I've learned valuable tips from the help desk and other Texada support personnel who assist our companies.

Cons

During our month end I find myself running and rerunning certain reports repeatedly. It would be convenient if the parameters I initially entered were saved and didn't reset each time.

I had difficulty in applying and posting a payment to balance a client's account.

Pros

There are numerous options available for searching information and I mainly like the well-organized layout of printed documents.

Cons

The software could use improvements to enhance user-friendliness. However, I had an extremely helpful and pleasant experience with one of the customer representatives. They promptly responded to my emails and provided excellent assistance during our phone conversation.

Customer service is good and precise. Easy to work with and get issues solved.

Pros

I previously used an older version of this program and the good thing is that the transitioning to the updated version I am currently using required minimal adjustments.

Cons

It would be beneficial to have certain features that improve the efficiency of our shop. For instance, the ability to credit a work order invoice or make adjustments to it before it goes through a close process. This includes adding or removing services and parts.

The staff at Texada is always very pleasant and helpful

Pros

Texada softwares ability to extract data and generate reports is invaluable for making well-informed decisions. It's an amazing and comprehensive program that can handle almost any task.

Cons

Adding fleet logic to provide up to date information to our transportation department comes with associated costs.

Support is great but the system could use some improvements

Pros

The system is remarkably user-friendly, representing a significant improvement from the previous version. The support team is friendly and always ready to assist.

Cons

There are a few changes that should be implemented. Deposits sometimes get lost, and it would be helpful to be able to take deposits on work orders. The daily close occasionally freezes, requiring it to be performed after hours without support available. There is still an issue in the IC screen when looking at serial numbers after using the search function. The screen can freeze or kick out after 5-10 minutes of inactivity in the web version. In some screens, you can directly search by typing into a box (e.g., customer search), but in others, you have to open a window first (e.g., when entering an AP and searching for a GL by name).

Quick, professional, and easy.

Pros

What I love the most about this software is the exceptional customer support that comes with it. Every interaction is positive which is commendable.

Cons

The user interface is one aspect of the software that I like the least. It definitely needs modern updates.

Daily use for all accounting needs - good experience to date.

Pros

I am still in the process of discovering all the available features, but so far the software has proven to be user friendly. Moreover the customer support has been excellent as well.

Cons

Payroll is not supported, which makes it difficult because we need more than one software to handle all our accounting needs.

We have been a SRM Client for 20+ years & have evolved with the company. Great product & support!!

Pros

Since upgrading to the latest version, we've noticed improved navigation for our new staff. The ability to use mouse clicks has made the software more user-friendly and comfortable for them. However, we are grateful that the "F" keys still function for our more experienced users! Texada is continuously introducing new products that align with the current technology market.

Cons

Most of our terminals have the Client Software installed while we use the online connection for some others. One issue we face is that it times out between uses which can be frustrating for our staff.

SUPPORT DESK TEAM IS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY. GREAT TO WORK WITH.

Pros

Texada software is easy to use. Generating reports and conducting inquiries is a hassle free task and the results are easily comprehensible. The support team is excellent. There are still many aspects of the program left to explore.

Cons

It would be nice to have minor improvements such as the ability to print invoices from the contract billing inquiry.

Texada provides quick and accurate support of their product. Support staff knows the product well.

Pros

It's easy to use and correct any mistakes made. Invoicing can be handled by our counter staff and then approved by management before being emailed to the client. This is a significant advantage in preventing errors. Most of the applications within the software follow a similar structure. For instance, once you learn how to create a contract, you can also create a work order or a miscellaneous invoice. The screens and user interactions are almost identical, making it easy to understand and navigate.

Cons

The reporting functionality lacks in certain areas. We need better utilization reports, and it would be helpful to have a 45 day column in the AR Summary reports.
