Pros

Pros

Although in the beginning I had reservations about the integration process but I must admit that transferring our data from the previous software to this one was remarkably simple. Within two weeks, I became well versed in the software, navigating it without a problem and finding what I needed.

Cons

It would be beneficial to have additional features in the software, such as the ability to delete part numbers. We currently have products listed under multiple part numbers, some with added hyphens or "S" at the end which complicates inventory management.

Among the various modules we use, I personally favor the AR and AP module. It offers ease of use and has all the required features.

Cons

It is not always intuitive to locate certain functions. For example, I wanted to print an updated GL code list and expected it to be in the General Ledger module but it wasn't. Instead, I had to go to the System Maintenance module.

Pros

One aspect I really like is the option to use the play area for testing new or unusual scenarios. It helps reduce my reliance on the help desk. Since our rentals are typically monthly events, we don't use it a lot when it comes to the rest of the system.

Cons

The reporting function is lacking in certain aspects. It would be helpful to have a dedicated section for all reports as it gives you the option to choose which fields to include. I would prefer discussing with the development team how we can improve both financial and analytical reporting. Additionally, the batch processing/posting is not consistently organized. Having a designated section for posting would provide clarity on what needs to be posted. It would also be beneficial to have a pop-up confirmation when posting an item.

Pros

I find the system to be highly user friendly and they have the ability to customize reports based on our business needs. The support team always responds promptly to provide training or resolve any issues. It's truly a great product!

Cons

Pros

The entire process from entering a contract to selling a part, entering cash receipts and completing the daily close, flows smoothly and is much easier. One of the best features is the ability to quickly process payments when a customer calls to pay an invoice within seconds. Similarly, if a customer mentions missing invoices, I can easily bring up their information, check the box, and send the invoice(s) within minutes, which greatly enhances customer service. Texada is capable of generating all outstanding invoices and a statement within 10 minutes when management needs it for a customer visit. I love how I can issue a credit almost instantly for certain invoices. Additionally, the ability to work remotely is a fantastic feature, especially given what we've learned during the Covid pandemic.

Cons

It would be great if the workorder and sales order invoices were as easy to handle. It would be helpful if the customer's terms were more visible within the system, especially in the account inquiry. It would be beneficial if the clerk could easily see the terms when opening a transaction for a customer. This is particularly relevant because Stanmore has different account setups compared to other Texada users. Deposits associated with a sales order should be visible in the account inquiry.

SRM - An Expansive Product to Meet Your Needs at Your Level
Pros

This product offers a wide range of features. It has everything you need without being pushy about it. From inventory and customer management to reporting and analytics, fleet management and resource management, it covers it all. Moreover, the customer support is truly exceptional with there support we able to resolve any issues within minutes which makes problem solving a hassle free process.

Cons

Unfortunately, it's not the most user-friendly system due to its complexity. However, with a little training you can use it without a problem.

Business necessity!
Pros

We had been using the previous version of Texada rental store program for over three decades, and we were familiar with it and liked it. When we decided to update, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the new version was both familiar and easy to learn along with many improvements over the original. We were concerned about transferring our information to the new system but SRM made the transition easy and we were up and running the next day. Also we truly like the programs simplicity and have no worries about system crashes. The daily close process is quick and even simple. In short we highly recommend this SRM program!

Cons

The only thing we wish the new system had is the ability to print instantly after creating a contract, just like it works in the cloud-based version.

Learning the software is fairly easy. In other words, it is not difficult to understand. I would like to attend webinars to learn more about the features I currently don't use.

Cons

Happy with the support but expect more from the software. I like the direction it is heading in.
Pros

Once we became familiar with the software, we found that it offers most of the functionality we need. I believe it's heading in the right direction. The email functionality has greatly improved and made tasks much easier. This year, we started using POs, Re-Order Reports, Sale Orders, and Work Orders, which simplified our processes. We tested the reservation feature but found it too slow for our fast-paced business.

Cons

Learning and understanding the system can be difficult, especially for new staff members. Also I am not a fan of the reservation system either. It would be helpful to have a "day at a glance" feature similar to what Point of Rental offers. This feature would provide a clear and easy-to-read layout on screen, allowing us to view and make changes to reservations without the need for constant searching. Having the ability to view deliveries and pick-ups would also be beneficial. I find it time-consuming to print reports constantly, and the booking report took me a while to figure out. It would be more efficient if the parameters I entered for reports remained the same instead of resetting each time.

There are numerous options available for searching information and I mainly like the well-organized layout of printed documents.

Cons

I previously used an older version of this program and the good thing is that the transitioning to the updated version I am currently using required minimal adjustments.

Cons

Support is great but the system could use some improvements
Pros

The system is remarkably user-friendly, representing a significant improvement from the previous version. The support team is friendly and always ready to assist.

Cons

There are a few changes that should be implemented. Deposits sometimes get lost, and it would be helpful to be able to take deposits on work orders. The daily close occasionally freezes, requiring it to be performed after hours without support available. There is still an issue in the IC screen when looking at serial numbers after using the search function. The screen can freeze or kick out after 5-10 minutes of inactivity in the web version. In some screens, you can directly search by typing into a box (e.g., customer search), but in others, you have to open a window first (e.g., when entering an AP and searching for a GL by name).

Pros

Since upgrading to the latest version, we've noticed improved navigation for our new staff. The ability to use mouse clicks has made the software more user-friendly and comfortable for them. However, we are grateful that the "F" keys still function for our more experienced users! Texada is continuously introducing new products that align with the current technology market.

Cons

Most of our terminals have the Client Software installed while we use the online connection for some others. One issue we face is that it times out between uses which can be frustrating for our staff.

Texada provides quick and accurate support of their product. Support staff knows the product well.
Pros

It's easy to use and correct any mistakes made. Invoicing can be handled by our counter staff and then approved by management before being emailed to the client. This is a significant advantage in preventing errors. Most of the applications within the software follow a similar structure. For instance, once you learn how to create a contract, you can also create a work order or a miscellaneous invoice. The screens and user interactions are almost identical, making it easy to understand and navigate.

Cons

The reporting functionality lacks in certain areas. We need better utilization reports, and it would be helpful to have a 45 day column in the AR Summary reports.
