“All-In-One Booking System
Pros
I really like that WellnessLiving includes numerous features that would cost me more on other platforms. Moreover, I find WL to be very user-friendly, which is great because technology often overwhelms me.
Cons
Occasionally, there are glitches during upgrades, but they are quickly resolved.

“Do not purchase it
Pros
Customer care is generally available, and I find the platform somewhat intuitive.
Cons
I frequently encounter error messages, and my students have difficulty with their passwords and signing in. Customer service is often unsure how to assist, and I've lost business as a result of software issues. People contact me multiple times a week with problems. Tech support suggests clearing caches and using Firefox instead of Safari to resolve the errors, but I can't ask 900 people to do that.

“Borderline Predatory Credit Card processing fees
Pros
The setup process at the beginning was quite confusing, and unfortunately, I dislike their business practices as well.
Cons
After my networking group member, who owns a payment processing business, reviewed my WellnessLiving contract, they expressed concern about the payment processing fees charged by Paragon, the company handling credit card billing for WellnessLiving. They described the fees as "borderline predatory." As a business owner, I've been paying a significant percentage of my sales to Paragon. Unfortunately, my annual contract with WellnessLiving was automatically renewed in November without any notice, so I am now stuck with them until my second-year contract expires in October. It's frustrating that they require a 30-day written notice before the contract expires to avoid auto-renewal. If they were running a reputable business, they wouldn't make it so difficult to terminate a contract. I've already informed WellnessLiving well in advance that I will not be renewing my contract with them.

“Find another system! this review is from a user of 8 (long) years with WL
Pros
I like that I can manage class passes and appointments through the platform. Sometimes it works perfectly, and it's great, but when it doesn't, well the rest of the story will be explained later.
Cons
The email functionality is unreliable when you need it, and updates are released without proper testing, causing major issues. Sales reports consistently have a few dollars discrepancy, especially when using different computers, browsers, or even a phone. It's become a running joke for us. I always ask my partner to give me an approximate sales figure for the day, but it's never accurate. The sales tax report is no longer reliable after the latest update. Merging duplicate clients and maintaining an up-to-date client database is impossible. Having updated client information is crucial for a small business, but our database is outdated because WellnessLiving doesn't update their merging system. You have to hope that potential clients haven't used WellnessLiving elsewhere in the past, as their old account will remain active forever, even if the client wants their information to be updated. You're left with the choice of having duplicate clients or an outdated list, both of which are confusing. At least WellnessLiving gives you the option to choose, ironically.

“I am so sorry I ever used them
Pros
The reporting feature is helpful and customer service is easily accessible.
Cons
The software is filled with bugs and it's extremely challenging to find resolutions for issues. It's clunky and the data is inconsistent across different reports. Customer service tends to blame you for their own issues.

“Good Ideas - TERRIBLE Execution
Pros
The concept of WellnessLiving is quite appealing with its attractive design and good ideas. There are many things to like about WL conceptually. I can book clients into ongoing classes, link family members with a single payment method, and take advantage of events, discounts, gift cards, SMS communication (new) and much more. However, please read the rest of my review for additional details.
Cons
During my five years with WL, it seemed like every single update, and even multiple times a year, they would break the software. Sometimes the issues were minor, but most of the time, they were MAJOR! Every six weeks, we had to brace ourselves for an update and figure out what had been broken. It wasn't uncommon for the problems to be unrelated to the update itself; their programmers just messed things up. The end users became unwitting beta testers. If you encountered any issues, you had to take screenshots or videos to demonstrate what was happening. Oh, and don't forget the constant reminder to clear your cache...

“Avoid at all costs. Horrific.
Pros
Honestly, from my side there is absolutely nothing positive to say. It's like putting lipstick on a pig. The software may look good, but it's complete garbage. There is absolutely ZERO actual support, and it takes a minimum of over a week to get someone on the phone or address any issues.
Cons
I can't find anything positive to say about it. It's very very terrible.

“The software did not work for my company
Pros
About WellnessLiving I really like the deposit payment feature for services with automatic remaining payment.
Cons
When checking out clients with multiple services, it's a hassle since you have to do it one by one, and the reports are overwhelming. The software takes up too much space on the screen, making it difficult to see everything. The calendar filter is too large, and the "apply" button disappears off the screen, so you have to scroll down and start over again.

“Then and Now
Pros
Three years ago, we made the switch from Mindbody to Wellness Living because we found that WL was more supportive of small businesses. Unlike Mindbody's one-size-fits-all approach, Wellness Living understood that small businesses had unique needs and didn't force unnecessary expenses on us. However, over the past year and a half we have noticed a shift in Wellness Living's approach.
Cons
The price increases significantly every year, unfortunately, following a similar approach to Mindbody.

“WELLNESS LIVING is the WORST COMPANY we have ever worked with!
Pros
Unfortunately, there is nothing positive to say. What we initially thought would be a platform with great features turned out to be a major mistake and an ongoing headache.
Cons
Everything is problematic! They have a million features, but none of them work properly, and their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered!

“Peace of mind
Pros
The program is quite user-friendly. Managing classes and appointments is not a hassle anymore and our staff started using it with minimal training. WellnessLiving consistently upgrades and improves the software. The reporting functionality is fantastic, and the customer service is excellent. I have to share a story about their customer service. I accidentally deleted an entire week of bookings, and the classes were fully booked, with some even having a waitlist. As a studio owner, you can imagine how stressful this situation was, with clients losing their bookings, potential double bookings, and clients showing up for classes they shouldn't be in because they became available on the schedule. The potential impact on my business was significant. It happened on a Saturday at 8 pm, and I thought I would have to wait until Monday for assistance. However, to my surprise, an amazing employee had my back for two hours until the problem was resolved and everything returned to normal. That's why I titled my review "peace of mind" because that's exactly how I feel about Wellness Living.
Cons
The customer and staff app often experience glitches. Improving this area should be their top priority.

“A++ After being a MindBody client for 15 years we moved to WellnessLiving and never looked back.
Pros
The customer service provided by WellnessLiving is exceptional and real-time, which is very important for our client care and business progression.
Cons
When clients who use WL at other businesses click on links, there are occasional bugs, especially when using a mobile phone for marketing a class or event. It would be great if I could generate a link specifically for a day and time as a Trainer, instead of it only generating links for services in general.

“WellnessLiving Covers the Bases!
Pros
What I love most about WellnessLiving is how easily it integrates with my preferred calendar app on my mobile phone. Even though I have an iPhone, I use Google Calendars and it's a simple way for me to check my daily schedule and know the exact time of my first patient!
Cons
I find online booking for my patients challenging because the links are often unreliable. However, I still like to chat with my patients before they book so that I have a rough idea of their reason for coming in. Despite this issue, it's not a dealbreaker for me!

“Wellness Living sets a new standard in the Customer Relation Management business
Pros
From pricing to onboarding (including data migration), implementation, and support, the WL platform is undoubtedly the best system available. Any business owner would be foolish not to explore what they offer. Even after 5 years, they continue to set the standard against which I measure any other CRM platforms attempting to win my business and network.
Cons
Lately, I've been having difficulty getting support over the phone which is a first in the five-plus years I've been with WL.

“WellnessLiving was a game changer!
Pros
The ease of use is exceptional, both for our members and staff. The platform is remarkably user-friendly, even for those who aren't very tech-savvy. If you have any questions, the Support team is always available and they often reply with helpful videos that guide you through the process. I truly like that videos, marketing tools and more are all integrated within the software itself, eliminating the need for third-party subscriptions and integrations. I also value that WellnessLiving is receptive to enhancement suggestions from their users.
Cons
There is nothing I can complain about. I genuinely like everything they offer and the fact that they are open to suggestions for improvement.
