“Don't waste your time or money on this
Pros
Working with CIENCE did not benefit us much.
Cons
We were really let down by CIENCE. After six months of interaction and repeated promises, they did not generate a single new lead for our business. Their call center reps are offshore and lack sales experience. The proprietary software they provided was clunky and far from user friendly. Plus it constantly malfunctioned and failed to deliver as promised leading to delays and a lot of frustration on our end. In the end this company did not live up to any of its promises, wasting both our time and money. So I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable lead generation services.

“Buyers, be careful
Pros
One of our four project managers was really knowledgeable about the industry. Other than this I have not found anything good about it.
Cons
Where do I even begin? We went through four different campaign managers, so we never really got any momentum on the campaign. There was a lack of understanding about their own platform and the platform itself never worked properly. The biggest issue was their shift from creating manual copy to relying on AI-generated content which felt inauthentic. And very few people even responded to their email or LinkedIn outreach. Also there is a clear talent gap and an identity crisis within the company regarding their value proposition. Nothing worked and we ended up wasting both time and money over four months.

“A great mix of art and CIENCE for top-of-funnel efforts
Pros
There is no gap between the Sales and Growth teams. Sales were clear in helping provide a solution. We actually approached them for a different solution that would have cost more and benefited them more but they understood the issue and suggested a solution that met our goals.
Cons
There is some kind of hidden process in how things work. Though it did not negatively impact us or our results but as someone who likes to understand how things operate and why, there is a gap there. As I just know that their system is working.

“Gave me just the fresh start I needed
Pros
I appreciate their hands on approach. They genuinely wanted me to succeed so I will keep working with them. Also they communicate extremely well and are very responsive.
Cons
So far nothing to complain about. The expectations they set are exactly what I have been getting. They have helped us build a new pipeline with good data that we can nurture.

The onboarding process was simple and clear and the deliverables were quite clear too. Overall they do a great job and we like it.
Cons
You will need to provide the key content for outreach. As at first I expected more support on this but after a discussion I understood why this needed to come from our side.

“A really bad experience

We spent a lot of time on the phone with them and during that time they were not offensive. And honestly this was the only good outcome.
Cons
They completely failed to deliver any useful leads for B2B sales. Maybe they are good for B2C but they are completely out of their depth when it comes to B2B expert network sales. We ran their contract alongside our in house efforts and there was no comparison. Their employees were switched out halfway through,and the new team could not maintain the quality. After getting no revenue or useful meetings, we had to let them go. They offered a one month extension which was a joke. I had asked for three months at no extra cost in hopes that they would redeem themselves but they refused. They excel at promising success but in reality, it was a waste of thousands of dollars and more painfully time. We had to educate them about our business, met with them regularly and spent a lot of time. In the end they provided no value. Avoid them at all costs as there is nothing special about what they offer.

Though the initial sales interaction was professional and well-organized but later everything went down hill.
Cons
Well let me tell you that everything after the sale was a disaster, be it communication, execution of the agreed strategy, the commercial approach, lack of flexibility, apparent lack of integrity from some team members and no focus on customer satisfaction when it came time for renewal.

“Bad experience all around

Nothing. Honestly I cannot think of a single good experience with them. I tried but I am coming up with nothing.
Cons
Everything was bad. Account management was a mess. Our account manager did not know anything about our campaigns. Every time I asked for an update he had no clue. Plus they were always late and never delivered on time. The BDRs were damaging our brand. Also the platform was confusing and hard to navigate. The sales leader for CIENCE did a bait and switch on us with pricing after sending the contract. They were shady and terrible in every way. I would never recommend them. Stay away as you are better off spending your SDR dollars elsewhere.

CIENCE's sales team was quite helpful, answering questions and providing references from other customers. But that's about it as everything else is worse.
Cons
Once we signed up everything about it was disappointing. Onboarding took nearly a month and I felt like the information we gave them was not being used properly to improve our campaign. There was constant turnover among the people handling our calls and our project manager. The web portal for listening to calls was ridiculously slow and the SDRs conversations with our prospects were embarrassing. Also it took forever to create our company landing page which was basically them stealing content from our existing website instead of creating anything new. They could never prove that the landing page was being shown to prospects through ads. Plus trying to make changes was a huge struggle and we ended up writing the content for the landing page ourselves. They were also supposed to handle LinkedIn messaging for us but for weeks there was no activity until I raised my concerns during bi-weekly calls.

We did not like anything about their service.
Cons
They did not solve any of our problems. They sold us hard upfront but did not deliver. Plus their technology is not reliable, ROI tracking is lacking and their service just does not produce results. We requested to end the relationship and cut our losses since we were wasting the budget with zero leads but they refused. I would not recommend them as there are much better options available out there.

They have a great framework and an SD Manager who meets with you regularly. I also found the dashboard useful.
Cons
Unfortunately our experience with CIENCE was mostly disappointing. Despite their promises we saw almost no results. In six months we got only a handful of appointments, most of which were unproductive. The people who showed up did not know the purpose of the meeting and did not want to discuss our offering. Many of them did not even show up. The lead generation campaign was poorly executed. Their data platform did not deliver the promised filtering quality. Even though we requested leads from certain industries we kept getting irrelevant ones. What made it worse was the lack of interest from CIENCE's leadership in solving the issues. Despite all the problems their leadership did not make an effort to connect with us and find solutions. And though the concept they offered was appealing but the actual delivery was disappointing and unsatisfactory. So it ended up being a wasted investment for us.

“It is a huge disappointment

Nothing stands out to me. The whole package they sold us has been far below expectations.
Cons
In 7 months I believe we only generated maybe 2 appointments and I am sure about only 1. Plus we were sold a database with a lot of inaccuracies but were promised inaccuracies would be less than 5%. All of this poor work for $80k annually was the worst investment our company has ever made.
