“powerful quoting and automation”
Pros
Handling complex product configurations and pricing rules is much more manageable with this tool and it does a really good job of automatically generating a price proposal or contract from the information I enter.
Cons
This is honestly the best quoting tool I've worked with and I haven't come across anything about it that I dislike.

“guided selling speeds everything up”
Pros
Using the guided selling interface along with the automation tools makes quote configuration much faster. Pricing and discounting products is very easy in this tool and sending customized proposals to clients is simple as well.
Cons
I haven't run into any issues that need attention. The tool has been performing excellently.

“Clearer quotes for costs”
Pros
Putting the product catalog together is very practical and the range of options for Unit, Sell and Matrix pricing is a big plus. Being able to see margins right in the cart also helps a lot when checking pre-pricing and invoicing details before turning an order into a final quote.
Cons
At times, the Order CPQ page refresh can be frustrating especially when there's a long delay and the products in the cart sit unchanged for more than five minutes. When that happens, it feels like the price calculation is stuck. It also appears to be influenced by the browser cache and how much cache the Conga product builds up over time.

“flexible setup”
Pros
Has been a solid option for us because its flexible structure and high level of customization cover most real-world scenarios we run into. I also really appreciate the overall design and how adaptable the product is when setting it up for different use cases. One feature I especially enjoy is the field expression functionality since it works in real time.
Cons
A few areas still need work though. Conga should offer more control over PCB calling and the cart configuration UI could definitely be improved. Right now, each product requires opening a setup icon and manually setting attributes so having an out-of-the-box mass attribute update feature would be very helpful. We also ran into some difficulties during migration.

“Excellent UI”
Pros
Having worked with both Salesforce and Conga CPQ for different needs in my organization, I can say Conga CPQ performs better in almost every area. It is simpler to implement, comes with a strong set of out-of-the-box features, integrates well with different external tools and is very user friendly and easy to understand. The UI is especially well designed for configuring complex products and their attributes and the CART interface makes discounting and final pricing much clearer :))
Cons
The only major downside is that it can take a long time to resolve product bugs.

“strong integration”
Pros
Using this software in BSC, we've been able to deliver the business use case we were aiming for. The platform is very flexible, integrates well with both our internal database and Conga's ecosystem and it also keeps all the custom code organized in one place which is really helpful.
Cons
Overall, we're very satisfied with it. The only issue we've run into from time to time is service outages and it would be better if their team could address those more proactively.

“responsive sales team and clear demos”
Pros
Right from the evaluation stage, their sales team was excellent to work with!! When we shared our requirements during the purchase process, they gave us a concise demo and also did a good job of clearly walking through the current large cart limitations in CPQ, along with their plans to improve that area later on. Their communication was always quick, professional and on time.
Cons
The sales team said the large cart limitations would be fixed in the near future but those issues are still there. At this point, they are preventing us from closing large deals on time.

“Complete powerhouse!”
Pros
I really like the user interface! Through the CPQ Admin which is part of the platform, I'm able to manage a wide range of tasks such as product configuration, price list creation, constraint rules, price metrics and product attribute rules all from a single window. Having everything centralized like that saves a lot of time since there's no need to keep jumping between different screens which makes the work much more convenient.
Cons
A big concern for us has been the upgrade process. One of our users accidentally moved to a newer version and when we tried to go back to the previous one, that simply wasn't possible. We ended up having to uninstall the current version and in the process we lost all of our configuration and data. Reinstalling everything and setting it up again took a huge amount of effort. On top of that, the original setup was already difficult because it had been handed over by a third-party implementer. We're also still dealing with issues related to the complicated product structure and heavy pricing.
