“solution-focused quoting wins”

Pros

Turning a quote into a document is one of my favorite features because it lets me build out a real solution for the customer instead of just sending over pricing. Presenting ideas and recommendations feels much more valuable than simply putting numbers in front of someone.

Cons

At the moment, I have to use sections inside a single quote to separate different solution options so I can present everything in one document. The problem is that the system adds all those sections together which creates a grand total that isn't accurate when you're showing several different solutions in one quote.

Pros

Creating layouts and system designs for large, complex systems feels very easy and it does a really good job of helping present everything clearly to the customer.

Cons

The quote tool is the part we don't really use because we already have our own internal quoting system so using this software for that would just feel like doing the same work twice.

“fast updates and responsive team”

Pros

Really like how fast it is to use! It's also refreshing that they're open to adding features based on dealer requests and they actually make those changes quickly. A lot of software companies just don't respond that fast.

Cons

Needs to have the capability to convert a quote directly into an order that I could submit as an official order.

“powerful design”

Pros

Putting system designs together is very easy thanks to the graphical icons and the software can automatically assign part numbers to each item which saves time. I also really value being able to create a quotation and personalize it with the dealer or end user's name and logo because it gives everything a much more professional appearance. Another feature that has been very useful is project sharing since team members can look over and review work in real time.

Cons

An area that still causes frustration is updating parts lists. When a new CSV file is uploaded, any items removed from that file do not get removed from the online list. The existing entries are updated but the unwanted ones have to be deleted manually one at a time which can take quite a while. I do understand that deleting part numbers automatically could affect projects that already use them.

Pros

Keeping track of sites, equipment and their connections is very manageable thanks to the user friendly interface.

Cons

One limitation is that the same customer can't be saved under different sites in specific folders.

Pros

Building system, rack and block diagrams with this software has been a really positive experience! It comes with a wide range of custom icons, the interface feels accessible to work with and being cloud-based makes it convenient to save and access work without hassle. On top of that, customer service has been incredibly responsive whenever help was needed.

Cons

A Visio connector would be a valuable addition. It would also help to have integration with our ERP especially when using the quoting features for full end-to-end workflow support. Another useful improvement would be a simple one-link FAQ on the main screen based on the most common user questions particularly to help new users get up to speed.

“Good proposals”

Pros

Making concept diagrams, topologies, proposals and quotes is incredibly easy with this software. It does a really good job of helping you visually present system designs to both technical teams and financial stakeholders. Being able to switch between technical and icon views is very useful and features like grid mode make it simple to keep everything aligned neatly. I also appreciate the color-coded connections between equipment and the option to assign configuration values so they appear visually on the screen. The icon library is huge and includes most major manufacturers in the industry and it seems to keep growing. Another big plus is the ability to import your own inventory, part numbers and pricing which makes it possible to auto-fill detailed quotes directly from the items used in a topology. On top of that, the document templates help create polished, professional proposals for potential clients and the software saves more time and effort the longer you work with it.

Honestly, I don't have any complaints. They've made a lot of improvements over the past year and it really shows.

Being able to import part numbers with pricing, use document templates and include bundled icons for more complex system quotes has been really helpful.

Cons

There's no way to discount just the Parts section of a quote without also affecting the Service section. The workaround of adding itemized discounts gets monotonous on larger quotes. It would also help if icons could be resized more easily without having to create a new one. We've also run into duplicate parts being added to the database quite often when updating it with a new file.

“Puts together quotes!”

Pros

Using it has been really easy! It's accessible and has become a valuable tool for putting together quotes for our systems and larger projects. It has also helped our team collaborate remotely on several very important projects without much hassle which has been a big plus.

Cons

One limitation is with our CCTV department since they need larger diagrams for system design so they're still relying on Visio for that part.

Creating quotes and proposals has been a real plus for our sales team. It helps us put together polished, visually appealing materials that look impressive to prospective customers.

The one thing I'd like to see is integration with our current accounting software.
