“My top choice for an ABM platform
Pros
Demandbase provides a seamless user interface that makes it really easy to work within the platform. I do not expect sales teams to log into it directly, which is why the integration with Salesforce is incredibly helpful.
Cons
The cost-per-thousand impressions is quite high for the demand-side platform and I would love to see it come down.

“A+ support and excellent reporting
Pros
One of the most impactful features for me is the ability to personalize experiences by creating custom lists with numerous filters and selectors. These lists can then be integrated with our marketing systems, such as LinkedIn and Marketo, which is crucial for our lead generation efforts. The reporting functionality is also excellent, as it allows both our sales and marketing teams to track engagement and measure success at various stages of the customer journey. Finally, our Customer Success Manager is fantastic and we always receive the best support from her.
Cons
While our Customer Success Manager support is great, I feel that the technical support and solutions from their engineers are not quick enough to respond and are not thorough enough.

“Highly recommended for ABM
Pros
With Demandbase, I can easily segment accounts into various stages based on the customer journey and target them using personalized ads. This has helped us transition to an Account-Based Marketing strategy.
Cons
If an account name or domain is not already in the Demandbase system, I cannot target that account.

“Effective, but poor CS and no non-English support
Pros
I really like the "promise" that Demandbase offers in terms of finding audiences, attracting and engaging them, tracking their interests, and personalizing interactions.
Cons
The customer service and after-sales service are horrible.

“Unmatched platform
Pros
As a Salesforce administrator, I especially appreciate the Salesforce (SFDC) integration with Demandbase from the start. Also, I really enjoy the UI of the tool, which allows me to add custom tags, fields and create customized dashboard and report views. The account scoring feature is incredibly intuitive, and even though we haven't set up lead scoring in the same way, I can imagine it would be just as valuable for companies that generate a lot of leads.
Cons
From an administrative perspective, setting this up can be a bit tedious if I don't have a large operations team to help. However, aside from that, it's hard to find any major complaints.

“Not enough data provided
Pros
I find it really useful that Demandbase provides insights on how and which companies to connect with.
Cons
I have been using this tool for over three years and nothing has changed about it. It's rare to see anyone generate opportunities from the tool. It takes a long time to get it up and running for everyone, and once it is, the information is rarely correct. It ends up providing lead information for other representatives. If my company does not have solid Salesforce (SFDC) data, then this tool will not be effective. The customer support is not great either. The sales representatives make a lot of false promises, and when issues with the tool arise, they do not have answers. Ultimately, this tool feels like advertising, nothing is guaranteed and the support team is not helpful when it comes to troubleshooting.

“Outstanding solution
Pros
We have been using Demandbase for almost six months now and have seen great success with the tool. Our sales team loves the insights it provides into prospects and current customers, which allows them to act proactively.
Cons
One issue I face is that I can only operate the tool in incognito mode, which is frustrating. It can also be glitchy at times, but not enough to be overly annoying.

“Boost targeting with intent data
Pros
Demandbase is incredibly easy to use and includes excellent reporting features that help me measure trends over time for my target accounts.
Cons
The ad-serving capability is manual, meaning I have to provide their team with all of the assets and lists and their team sets up the campaigns and manages them. I have used other tools in the past, such as 6Sense and Terminus, where they allow me to run the campaigns directly from their platform, which feels easier and faster.

“Full of powerful engagement tools
Pros
This tool has proven to be extremely useful for our sales teams, particularly when it comes to seeing whether their prospects are engaged. It offers a lot of value from both a sales and marketing perspective.
Cons
I really wasn't impressed with the reporting aspect of the tool. It is not simple at all and the process feels rather confined.
