Complete integration but challenging setup

Pros

One of the things I like most about Microsoft Dynamics 365 is how well the different modules work together, giving a single, unified view of customers, sales and business processes. The platform is also flexible enough to be customized to specific company needs without requiring overly complicated changes. On top of that the integration with tools like Office helps improve day to day productivity. The interface is user friendly too and the automation features are useful for reducing manual errors and saving time. Another strong point is the ability to access real-time data which makes it easier to make faster, better informed decisions and keeps work more efficient and organized.

Cons

There are a few downsides tothe platform, starting with the initial setup which can be quite complex and may take time and specific expertise especially for less experienced users. The pricing can also be high, particularly for small businesses or when multiple modules are needed. Performance is not always ideal either since more complex operations can sometimes slow things down. In addition some advanced customizations require technical support or developer involvement. Even though the interface is comprehensive, certain sections are less user friendly. Finally integrating it with non-Microsoft systems can be challenging and may require extra configuration.

all-in-one tool

Pros

Having the full Microsoft Office ecosystem in one place makes this platform very convenient to use. It simplifies invoicing and it's helpful that project management and HR tools are included as well. Another big plus is the customer support team which has been quick and efficient whenever needed.

Cons

I noticed that there are still a few bugs and occasional issues from time to time although regular updates do help address them. It can also be a little slow to load on some occasions but it's manageable. A lot of that seems to depend on the organization's setup and network quality.

little to no value for price

Pros

It does have a strong reputation and I can see the appeal of it being a broad business management platform. Its integration with other Microsoft 365 apps is also a positive point.

Cons

That said I am even more frustrated by how overloadedthe appfeels with features and functions. It ends up wasting my time instead of giving any meaningful insights for my own small business.

Lower cost CRM for startups

Pros

Being a lower cost CRM, it's quite practical and the integration with the broader Microsoft ecosystem makes it a reliable option for small startups.

Cons

Cleaning up the data turned out to be pretty challenging and I ended up having to fully tidythe systemmyself which was a real headache.

Powerful reporting saves effort

Pros

The best things about Dynamics 365 for me right now is its powerful reporting. Overall it makes my work much more efficient and helps me get things done with less effort.

Cons

One part I like least aboutthe platformat the moment is the user interface and overall look. It feels outdated and a bit behind the times.

Everything is connected in one system

Pros

Bringing sales, service, finance, operations and marketing into one connected system is easily one of the biggest strengths of Dynamics 365. Having everything tied together helps information move naturally across teams so people get a much clearer view of customers and internal processes without constantly switching between separate tools. Another big plus is how adaptable the platform feels. From automating workflows and tailoring dashboards to connecting with other Microsoft apps, it offers plenty of flexibility to fit the way a business works instead of boxing teams into a fixed setup.

Cons

At the same timethe platformcan be a lot to take in. The learning curve is pretty noticeable especially when working with advanced modules or trying to configure custom workflows. Even though the interface is powerful, it can feel crowded at times and some actions take more clicks than they really should. Performance also seems to depend on the environment and certain integrations or customizations call for a level of technical knowledge that smaller teams may not always have available.

smooth Microsoft ecosystem integration

Pros

How well it connects with the broader Microsoft ecosystem is something I like most. Plus it works well with tools like Outlook, Teams, Excel, Azure, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate which makes daily work much more connected and efficient.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve and it takes fairly significant training to get comfortable with it. Some tasks also require too many clicks and the navigation is not easy too.

Great for productivity!

Pros

It has been a really strong CRM for our business. It helps us stay productive and organized by keeping us connected with customers while also maintaining a clear record of conversations and documents for audit purposes. From an IT administrator's perspective, one of the biggest advantages is how simple it is to assign permissions across the business so we can manage exactly who has access to specific environments within Dynamics 365.

Cons

I honestly do not have any major complaints aboutthe platform. The only issue we run into occasionally is with certain add-ins, such as the CRM to Genesys softphone not loading properly for advisers and contact center agents which can create some operational disruption now and then. That said it has not been a major problem because we have already put workarounds in place and know how to resolve it when it happens.

Pros

Everything is brought together in one place which makes Dynamics 365 very simple to work with. Plus it offers a lot more functionality and the platform is highly customizable while still being manageable day to day.

Cons

Compared with other software it does a really good job overall. The downside is the pricing which is quite high and has led to lower adoption across the staff.

User-friendly project management tool

Pros

Dynamics 365 has been a game changer for the way we handle project management. The interface is user friendly so getting around the system and using it day to day feels simple. Overall it has really helped our company stay organized and keep operations running efficiently.

Cons

We still are not using every feature available and there are quite a few tools we have not taken the time to integrate yet. Even with thatthe systemcontinues to work very well for our company.

strong integration but costly

Pros

The thing that has worked really well is the tight integration with Microsoft 365 especially Outlook, Teams and Excel. Also the AI powered automation is also very capable and adds a lot of value to the overall experience.

Cons

Its pricing is its biggest disadvantage. As it is too expensive and that makes it harder for everyone who could benefit from using it to actually have access to it.

Saves time without being complex

Pros

Using it day to day is not a problem which makes it easy to settle into regular work without much friction. The campaign management tools are especially useful for marketing events since it's easy to see who registered, who actually attended and how everything performed overall, giving the team clear visibility without creating extra manual work. On the sales side, it cuts down a lot of the usual admin burden on us such as logging meetings is quick and the Microsoft 365 integration genuinely helps because you can place calls directly from the system while meetings are automatically captured and recorded. Overall it simplifies processes, saves time and keeps people organized without feeling too complex.

Cons

Sometimes it comes across as unreliable because of recurring bugs and those issues can break up workflows and slow progress. The search feature is one area that can be particularly frustrating since it doesn't always return what you expect when you need to quickly pull up a contact or specific information. Another drawback is that there isn't really a clear way to separate a brief hi/hello call from a more important business conversation so both often end up being logged the same way which can give a misleading picture when looking back at client interactions.

Pros

Working remotely has been much more organized because it keeps our team aligned even when we're on the go. It also makes it possible to share customer data securely which has been really valuable for us.

AI made accessible for everyone

Pros

With Copilot now part of Dynamics 365, the data stored in D365 feels much more valuable especially for people without coding skills. As it opens the door for any user to try out practical and meaningful AI use cases without needing a technical background.

Cons

Every now and thenthe systemfreezes and that can force you to restart the task from the beginning. Aside from that, I really do not have much else to complain about.

Pros

Having Dynamics 365 means our team can make use of pretty much every Microsoft tool we need in one place. From PowerPoint and Word to Excel and even Copilot, it keeps our business moving every day. Honestly I cannot imagine how we'd manage without it.

Cons

Overall a complete tool

Pros

From the Sales and Delivery perspective, I must say it is one of the most complete platforms I have worked with. It also supports the entire workflow from beginning to end and can handle virtually every part of running a successful professional services organization.

Cons

Becausethe platformis so broad and highly customizable, the setup and configuration process can be pretty draining. Without a well defined implementation roadmap, teams can easily lose direction during deployment which often leads to significant rework later on.

Built for global growth and scale

Pros

Across multi country and multi language operations, this platform delivers very notable coverage and above all, feels built for growth and strong performance. Also the operational support team is responsive and well organized which makes a real difference. I am especially impressed by how it blends modern technology with high performance and the ability to scale. Fast load times and a strong, reliable system keep everything running smoothly, even when handling complex B2B needs.
