“provides support we love”
Pros
Data processing and evaluation have been very dependable and accurate. Once the setup is complete, the CRM integration works really well. The support team is highly knowledgeable and easily among the best I have dealt with.
Cons
Getting everything installed was a bit more involved and I likely wouldn't have managed it without its support.

“Revenue data we actually use”
Pros
It offers thorough solutions for revenue data operations and the accuracy has been reliable.
Cons
One thing I don't like is how automated it is because that can make manual tasks harder to handle when they're needed.

“Setup went quicker than expected”
Pros
Getting around the software is very easy and everything is clear enough to understand without much effort. It's simple to use and doesn't take long to figure out.
Cons
Honestly there isn't much for me to complain about. The layout is easy to navigate and hasn't caused any issues.

“Syncs CRM data without fail”
Pros
Riva has been a really strong addition to our workflow especially with how well it integrates to major CRMs and email platforms. The system is user friendly and dependable and it saves us a lot of time by automating data sync between tools. Getting everything up and running was fairly easy and the support team has been responsive and focused on resolving issues whenever needed.
Cons
The platform is amazing overall but the reporting dashboard has room for improvement when it comes to customization. More advanced analytics and user specific views would make it more useful for larger teams managing more complex workflows. There are also occasional sync delays during high traffic periods although those tend to be fixed pretty quickly.

“Set it and use it ASAP”
Pros
Getting it up and running is pretty easy, using token based authentication for the integration along with a custom role to keep permissions limited. After the integration is in place, the synchronization policy is simple to configure and just as simple to maintain. It's really a low effort, no hassle system that you can set and forget.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about. Every now and then an error comes up that needs help from its Support but it happens rarely.

“Migration help saved our team”
Pros
it has been really important for our Sales and Marketing teams at Janus Henderson because it makes it simple to track sales activity in Salesforce. We also recently moved over to the cloud version and the project management team mapped out the implementation in a very clear, simple manner that made the migration manageable for me to complete. After the move whenever issues came up, the support team was consistently very helpful and even open to building enhancements based on customer feedback.
Cons
From an admin perspective the newer cloud version of it has removed some capabilities we used to have. That has made troubleshooting certain user issues more difficult and has increased the time it takes to resolve them. On top of that the redesigned Riva Insight bar now adds extra clicks for users who are trying to send and track emails at the same time.

“useful tool”
Pros
It really stands out for its excellent email syncing and the activity capture features are very useful too. Calendar syncing is simple to manage and the scheduling tools with reminders help keep everything organized. It brings everything together in one place and is built with current, up to date technology.
Cons
Einstein activity capture still has some room for improvement although there honestly isn't much to dislike overall. Just a few areas could be refined and it sounds like those updates are already planned for an upcoming release. Corporate pricing could also be more attractive with additional promotions.

“Keeps calendars aligned”
Pros
One thing that really makes it stand out is how well it handles security concerns. A lot of services can connect multiple CRMs but data security is usually where problems come up. It does a good job covering that which is a big reason I value it. It also makes accessing calendar data very hassle free especially when dealing with problematic Exchange servers.
Cons
Getting everything set up is fairly complicated and it is not very friendly for beginners.

“Custom setups get really messy”
Pros
The area where this product really leads is security. The encryption is top-tier and from an infrastructure and stability perspective, it is a very amazing, dependable tool. When it comes to built-in product security, it stands ahead of a lot of competing options in this space.
Cons
Using it day to day is pretty confusing and that becomes even more noticeable when there are a lot of custom requirements involved. It tends to work much better with standard out of the box Salesforce setups than with heavily customized environments.

“decent tool overall”
Pros
It turned out to be exactly what we needed to sync our team's emails and calendars with Salesforce making sure every customer interaction was properly captured in one place.
Cons
It did have a few limits around sync settings and customization though I'd expect a lot of that has likely been improved over the years.

“Our go to for email sync”
Pros
At TD we use Riva so Salesforce users can sync their emails with SF. It plays an important role in helping us meet the bank's critical data loss prevention requirements which standard Salesforce Outlook integration tools don't cover.

“Outlook syncs without giving trouble”
Pros
Real-time Outlook integration has been really useful especially since it can sync both standard and custom objects. The Insight feature is also a strong addition and adds a lot of value.

“Runs well on our own servers”
Pros
Having the option to install it on-prem is a big plus especially for Microsoft Exchange environments where security is a concern. After the initial setup it runs well and rarely needs any hands-on attention.
Cons
I feel like its upgrade process could be better particularly when moving to a newer Windows platform since that transition is not very smooth.

“Calendar sync never lets me down”
Pros
Adding users is pretty easy and having their calendars sync appointments from Google business accounts has been really helpful. It's also convenient that appointments can be created directly from the Google side which made the process much simpler for users.
Cons
Since we're a higher education institution, a lot of our users rely on their Google calendars for both personal and work use. Because of that, it wasn't quite flexible enough to handle the unique syncing rules and logic each user would have preferred.

“Backend handles it all beautifully”
Pros
Compared with other vendors this solution is much more flexible and configurable and it manages processes on the back end rather than relying on the client side. The support has been excellent as well, with a team that is consistently responsive and accommodating.
Cons
At this point I really do not have any complaints. The solution is performing exactly as promised and the end users are clearly benefiting from it.
