“Prospecting made manageable”
Pros
Using it has made prospecting much more manageable. The interface is simple to navigate so reaching out to qualified leads feels very simple. It also cuts down a lot of the time that would normally go into figuring out who the right contacts are and researching them within organizations.
Cons
A limited customer base to contact makes outreach more challenging. The setup at the beginning also felt pretty intimidating and the support from the onboarding team wasn't as helpful as we expected.

“professional support”
Pros
It has a user-friendly interface that's simple to navigate and their team's customer support has consistently been efficient and professional.
Cons
The results however probably haven't fully matched what was originally forecasted.

“Keeps conversations moving”
Pros
I like that it keeps the conversation moving especially when a prospect replies with something like, "you should really be speaking with this person instead." It handles those handoffs in a way that helps the outreach continue instead of stalling out.
Cons
Message quality isn't consistently strong though and the initial setup felt a bit confusing at first.

“smart campaign automation”
Pros
Campaign automation has been a big plus. I really appreciate all the work happening behind the scenes to keep things moving.

Leads coming in were not always the right fit or the exact people we were hoping to connect with.

“Saves a lot of time”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits is how much time it saves while keeping follow-up consistent. It also helps us reach far more people than we would be able to on our own and the real data it provides is genuinely useful.
Cons
Getting started with it comes with a learning curve that feels pretty challenging. It's also frustrating that some months bring a high volume of AiQLs while other months have none at all and we're still trying to understand why that happens.

“Poor lead targeting”
Pros
The automated outreach is a really strong feature and it feels like the platform could be quite valuable if the lead targeting were a bit more refined and accurate.
Cons
Almost every lead we got, aside from maybe one or two, was for companies that do not even ship vehicles. On top of that, the SaileBot was also contacting companies that were already paying customers which is definitely not ideal.

“Useful lead reach”
Pros
Using AI we're able to connect with a large number of customers and make better use of quality leads. It does take a while to ramp up to its full potential though. One thing that really matters is doing a proper review before uploading the target data.
Cons
At times the bot seems to misread the tone. I'd also stress again that the content should be properly checked before anything is uploaded.

“Solid leads, broad targeting”
Pros
It saves me a lot of time and does a good job of delivering solid leads.
Cons
The challenge is narrowing things down to a specific customer type since the approach can end up being too broad.

“Lots of quality inquiries coming in”
Pros
Honestly I was pretty skeptical at first about whether it would actually make a difference for us. We decided to go ahead and set up a Sailes Bot for each of our business units and within about 6 to 8 weeks we started seeing engaging responses come through. By the 10 to 12 week mark, we were actively quoting projects for potential clients the Sailes Bots had identified for each business unit. They really do deliver results.
Cons
Bots we're using generate so many inquiries that it can be tough to keep up with the volume of new leads coming in.

“Quick implementation”
Pros
I was pleasantly surprised by how many emails and contacts it was able to source. The implementation and setup were also completed pretty quickly which made getting started simple.
Cons
For the business unit I represent though, the positive response rate and number of AiQLs didn't meet the expectations I had going in.

“Huge timesaver”
Pros
Right from the bot setup stage, they have been very supportive throughout the whole implementation process. It saves a lot of time and does a solid job of bringing in quality leads when running campaigns.
Cons
An issue I've run into is with emails copied into Outlook, I need to switch between Outlook versions just to view the entire message.

“Less manual work”
Pros
Cut down the amount of work I had to put into digital marketing especially around send frequency and inbox placement.
Cons
It's pretty much a one-purpose tool. It manages email and that's about it. That's fine to a point but there's no CRM integration and having a person step in for follow-up takes too much digging.

“can be customized”
Pros
After a month of using it we've already seen it bring in new leads. It can be customized to fit our healthcare niche and within just a few days we were finding high-quality prospects that we hadn't been able to reach through other approaches.
Cons
The automation tools have saved us a huge amount of time and the data it pulls consistently feels relevant and current.

“Automated follow-ups and useful Starboard”
Pros
Automating email follow-ups with actionable AI has been really helpful. It was quick to get the hang of the email streams coming into my inbox as AIQLs. I also appreciate having the Starboard since it lets me track data on my email templates and see the overall performance of my campaigns.
Cons
I'd still like to see more functionality added to the Starboard especially a notes tab where I can leave extra details about the AIQLs. It's also hard to keep track of when I last responded to AIQLs so a feature that reminds me to follow up again when there's been no reply would be very useful.

“personalizes interactions”
Pros
Watching this AI sales assistant handle outreach has been a huge help. The part I appreciate most is how well it personalizes interactions so each message comes across as tailored and genuine without needing my direct input. It also manages the email prospecting process very efficiently which has significantly simplified my workflow. On top of that, being able to monitor its progress has been extremely valuable when it comes to evaluating how well the tool is performing.
Cons
it occasionally struggles to fully understand certain emails and that can result in responses that are not as accurate as they should be. Also although the personalization features are impressive overall, they sometimes need a bit of adjustment to keep messages from sounding too generic.

“Helpful lead qualification visibility”
Pros
Being able to drill into the qualification details and see which leads are currently in progress has been really useful.
Cons
Would also like the platform to use my email address for prospects because there's a disconnect when I contact someone directly and the message ends up in their junk folder.

“Decent tool”

It helps sort out people who are interested in our services from those who aren't which makes outreach more targeted.

“innovative platform with responsive support”
Pros
An innovative platform overall and the team is consistently available whenever we have a question or need something adjusted. I also appreciate that the channel is always on and having direct control over our campaigns through Starboard has been a real plus.
Cons
Sometimes the bot can feel like it goes a bit rogue so we've had to pull it back and rely on some offline relationship-building with contacts instead. There are also occasional mismatches between account and contact data and there's still no SFDC integration yet although we know that's on the way.
