Reliable CRM with live reports

Pros

Having all of our contacts in one place has been really helpful and the key details for both clients and prospects are always readily available when we need them. The CRM is easy to navigate and the dashboard delivers accurate, real-time reporting for our KPIs and OKRs.

Cons

The part I'm least fond of is the outdated, old-school look of the classic version though to be fair, it doesn't have to be visually impressive to do its job well.

Sales dashboard with depth

Pros

Right away, the homepage felt familiar in the way most social platforms do but it's much more tailored to the specific field you work in. Another part I really appreciate is the dashboard because it gives detailed visibility into which salesperson is managing which client. There's also a deeper level you can access through another tab, where you can see the status of open and closed cases. It's an excellent tool for salespeople who prefer making decisions based on factual data.

Cons

Pricing is definitely on the higher side and the extra charges for every added feature can get frustrating. The app clearly offers a lot but when my CRM needs are fairly simple, the amount of information available can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Fast setup and easy upkeep

Pros

Getting things built quickly is one of the best parts and the platform is very easy to use. There's no need to set up a database or application server and it runs on a subscription model only. That makes it really simple to develop on and maintain over time.

Cons

One drawback is the governor limits. Since it's built on a multitenant architecture, it can occasionally run into restrictions around how many resources it can use or the speed it can deliver.

Strong features and flexibility

Pros

Need SMS messaging? There's a plugin for that. Looking for powerful reporting? It can handle that too sometimes with a bit of help. Need custom objects and Process Builder functionality? It does that as well.

Cons

Because the product is so feature-rich, the learning curve is definitely steep but the online support articles and forum discussions help make it more manageable.

Helpdesk insights we trust

Pros

Running our helpdesk with this has been really easy and it lets our team respond to cases without much hassle. We can record incoming cases and phone calls and it automatically shows the breakdown of how many calls are related to problems versus general inquiries. That visibility has been extremely useful because it helps us identify peak periods and know when we need to add extra coverage.

Cons

The platform is not the most simple at first but there are plenty of online resources and accessible tools available that make it much easier to learn your way around the site.

Organized treasury reporting

Pros

It helps me review formulas and links in a much more organized way within the treasury work I handle. On top of that, it lets me generate real-time reports from bank statements through reconciliations done directly with the bank.

Cons

Excel is a sensitive tool even though it's very practical. If someone doesn't know how to use it well, they can make fairly serious mistakes especially in accounting and finance. Because of that, I'd recommend locking the file so others can view it for reference only and not make changes.

Aging UI with hidden complexity

Pros

This is the platform our Level 1 team relies on to log all incoming tickets and most of my appreciation for it comes from how it sits alongside the Level II ticketing system with just enough functionality to push Level 1 issues up for escalation. It also includes quite a few hidden or rarely used features that can add real value when those capabilities are actually needed. On top of that, it seems to handle data separation well between internal users and external recipients.

Cons

There are a lot of hidden or underused features and that lack of clarity makes the product feel dated, like it keeps sacrificing its original purpose just to keep adding bolt-on services and extra functionality. I regularly end up supporting its extensions across different mail clients and I often have to go back through Tier 1 ticket details that mattered but were not integrated well into the Tier II escalation system. Support for branded extensions is also weak. For example, I once had a general user ask me for help with instructions to update registry values just to get an email extension plug-in working. That kind of workaround does not feel professional or appropriate for standard end users. Add in the aging interface, outdated search and filtering and the absence of modern business intelligence tools and I honestly think the money would be better spent looking into newer, more aligned alternatives.

Flexible apps and donor tracking

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is being able to choose how I want to view and access data, then tailor the whole experience with app integrations that make my day-to-day work more manageable. There's a huge app ecosystem so it fits just about any industry and if nothing matches exactly, you can even create your own app to connect with it. I also rely on campaigns to keep donor outreach organized and use the reporting tools to monitor results. Since donor records contain sensitive information, I also really value its strong focus on data security.

Cons

Getting everything set up at the beginning can be challenging unless you have someone experienced with the system helping out. It's a good idea to bring in a consultant or make sure your internal admins are thoroughly trained. Even though it delivers a lot of value, the overall cost can climb quickly once you factor in per-user pricing, training, storage and app-related expenses. There are also so many settings and configuration choices that it can feel overwhelming which is another reason having an expert available is so helpful.

simple platform

Pros

It's incredibly flexible, simple to use and very user friendly. There's hardly anything you can't accomplish with it and even though the platform is very powerful, it still feels simple throughout.

Cons

Honestly, I can't point to anything I dislike. It is definitely on the expensive side but it feels worth the cost. You really do get what you pay for.

Flexible CRM with cloud access

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about this CRM is how customizable it is since it lets you build an application based on your own needs and preferences. It also supports a wide range of cloud solutions which makes it even more useful.

Cons

You do hear about features when a new product or launch comes out but there's usually still some uncertainty around the pricing which can be confusing.

Task tracking anywhere

Pros

Back when I worked as a data entry associate, this was part of my everyday routine. At first, the number of features and functions felt a bit overwhelming but after spending some time with it, everything started to make a lot more sense. One of the most useful parts was the task creation and organization tools. Setting tasks up was easy and I could always return later to edit, update or change them whenever needed. The option to add start and stop timestamps to projects was especially important for my role since it made it simple to pick up right where I had left off without any frustration. I also appreciated how quickly I could pull up client information, whether I needed contact details, address information or listed activities to review. It runs fast, works efficiently and being able to access it from a phone, laptop or iPad was a really valuable bonus.

Cons

My biggest struggle with it came right at the beginning when I was first learning the system. It takes a while to understand how to move through the different tabs and keep everything organized so there is definitely a learning curve. It can also become confusing at times because the platform is very detailed and lets you stack multiple layers of information. I do think it could be designed in a more beginner-friendly way so new users would have a less difficult time getting comfortable with it.

Costly add-ons and sales pressure

Pros

Given enough time and outside help, you really can make it do just about anything you want.

Cons

What gets frustrating is how the sales team presents it like it can handle everything right out of the box. They leave out the part where you may need to bring in a third party, spend thousands of dollars and wait weeks or even months to get it all set up while the platform itself does very little to help. On top of that, whenever the "customer service" team contacts you, it usually turns into another sales pitch for something else.

Highly capable platform

Pros

There's pretty much no shortage of what you can do with it. It's definitely very complex but that complexity comes with a huge amount of capability.

Cons

Getting started with it can feel overwhelming and it can be pretty tough in the beginning. The installation process can also take quite a while and if something gets set up incorrectly, it can seriously slow down your business.

CRM built to last

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how customizable it is. It's built like a tank and handles CRM work better than just about anything else I've used. I honestly wouldn't trust a mid-sized or larger company to run on a weaker product. They even offer lead generation services which adds even more value.

Cons

You definitely pay for that level of quality but in my opinion it's worth it. Smaller companies will probably find it outside their budget. For us and clearly for plenty of others, it does the job extremely well.

great for forecasting

Pros

This has been a really strong tool for staying on top of sales activity and outcomes. The range of customization options makes it excellent for viewing the pipeline, forecasting revenue and monitoring the opportunities that matter most. It also helps clearly identify a customer's potential along with any challenges that might come up.

Cons

At the beginning though, the interface feels pretty overwhelming. It is not very simple to locate specific items or move around the accounts that have been set up. A more simple and user-friendly dashboard would make a big difference.

Flexible lead tracking

Pros

From the way I've used it, this platform really helps my clients handle incoming leads and keep track of their relationships without much trouble. It's been very useful for following the timeline of client interactions and seeing how marketing efforts affect a company's bottom line, like lead volume, conversions and similar metrics. There's also a strong level of customization so most of my clients can choose the features that make the most sense for their needs.

Cons

One thing that stood out less positively was the learning curve which felt pretty steep to me. It wasn't the kind of tool I could just jump into right away and I ended up relying on quite a few forum threads, tutorials and other resources before I got comfortable using it.

Sales tracking that delivers

Pros

Working in Sales, one of the biggest advantages for me is how quickly I can move a lead into an opportunity. Keeping track of leads, accounts and opportunities is very manageable and the filtering options make a huge difference when I need to organize data by date, opportunity status and other details. That makes it much simpler to see which accounts deserve attention each day. For companies that handle a high volume of transactional sales, this is especially valuable. I haven't really used it in an environment where deals take months to close but for a smaller business focused on converting lots of companies every day with a sales cycle of just 1-2 days, it makes a lot of sense to put this in place from the start. A lot of people I know begin with another CRM and eventually end up moving over to this one anyway. It also helps that I can add notes, log calls and capture all the right details in the proper fields before handing closed deals off to the implementation team.

Cons

Getting it set up is definitely challenging. At my company, we still don't have everything configured exactly right so it's worth expecting the implementation process to take a while. Other than that, it has been a very strong tool.

Cloud access keeps us connected

Pros

Getting the platform set up is pretty easy and I can log in from almost any device. It gives me great control over my work and helps me keep track of my business activities. I'm able to stay in constant contact with both employees and clients which is a big advantage. I also use my company's social media through the platform to promote services and that has helped me close contracts and spot new opportunities in the market. Another plus is being able to monitor business strategies through social networks. On top of that, everything runs in the cloud so I save money on hardware and software costs.

Cons

A few of the mobile apps come with complicated requirements. It also depends on having an internet connection to work which can be limiting at times. And if you need more storage space, you have to upgrade to a premium plan.

Poor support and broken builder

Pros

Your email marketing manager would have a terrible time using the Content Builder for anything beyond very basic drag-and-drop blocks. I wouldn't even attempt any customization in it.

Cons

After working with plenty of CRMs, I'd say avoid this one. The customer service has been the worst I've dealt with. Responses take a day or more and you're basically stuck dealing with India-based support. We're a paying customer and our team wasted three full weeks getting nowhere with technicians over something that should have been incredibly simple. The EMAIL > CONTENT BUILER promotes layout features like the ones shown in the image and says they're mobile responsive but the mobile stacking flat-out does not work. After being passed around for weeks, we finally had to call our account manager just to find the hidden button that let us escalate the issue. Once it was escalated, we got an American support technician but even then there was no real explanation for why the product didn't work. They simply closed the case and marked it done. It's hard to understand how a company this well known can be this bureaucratic and frustrating, honestly worse than dealing with the post office on its worst day.
