“Saves us time”

Pros

Working in TPM pricing means I am in CPQ for most of the day and it has been a very efficient tool for managing complicated pricing and quoting work. It handles uploaded Excel files in seconds and the built-in rules make spotting and fixing errors fast and simple. A huge benefit is being able to edit Excel data right inside the system instead of going back to the original file and importing it again. The built-in address verification tool is also really useful since it validates addresses quickly and lets me update them on the spot with the search function.

Cons

One area where CPQ could be better is data editing. It does offer some Excel like functionality but the interface could be improved especially for things like copy and paste. Filtering large datasets also still takes more time than it should since there's no advanced filtering option similar to what you'd get with a pivot table.

“integrations are strong”

Pros

Right away the speed, responsiveness and integration have been strong points. The bulk editing feature especially being able to insert lists of data, adds a lot of useful functionality. Also it gives me more autonomy over handling my own tasks which has been a big plus.

Cons

Since the data migration from the old system, we've run into several integration issues along with periods where the system hasn't been very responsive.

“Quick changes maintain team momentum”

Pros

Rolling out changes is both efficient and effective and the biggest benefit is how much it helps us get tasks done quickly and keep things moving without losing momentum.

Cons

At this point I don't have any concerns or negative feedback tp share. The experience has been completely positive for us so far.
