Totally disappointed with the experience

Pros

I reached out to management with a complaint but they refused to speak with me and didn't call back despite several emails to customer service and company leadership.

Cons

The lead quality is terrible!!! stale leads. Customer service wouldn't talk to me once they realized I was unhappy and refused to consider a refund, even though I had used it for less than two days. Overall a terrible experience.

Not a very pleasant experience

Pros

There were no positives. They billed us incorrectly, then stated they had a no refund policy. We asked to cancel the account but they didn't and they billed us again the following year. Once again, they referenced the no-refund policy. It's impossible to talk to a live person because they don't provide phone numbers. You can't cancel online either, so they make you schedule a Zoom meeting. However, you end up with a "demo" agent instead of someone who can help resolve your issues.

Cons

It has unethical billing, poor customer service and no live agents available.

Outstanding lead generation tool

Pros

This product has been incredibly helpful for finding new leads based on specific criteria, such as company size, job titles, department and location. It's allowed us to generate different personas and export data we need for lead generation and demand generation campaigns. The support from UpLead has been fantastic, they have helped us throughout the process.

Cons

I think the UX/UI could be improved, as the platform still seems to use an outdated theme from my perspective.

Excellent tool with a wide variety

Pros

The tool is easy to use and straightforward. Plus it's super affordable especially considering the variety of pricing options they offer. We use UpLead and integrate it with Salesforce!

Cons

It's a bit disappointing that there aren't many small companies using this tool. Everything works properly but some emails bounce back, which is expected since employees change often.

Looks amazing but turns out to be just average

Pros

The interface is easy to use, exports are simple and support is decent for a small company. You get what you pay for. I paid $600 for 2,000 mobile leads in one month but many needed cleaning (outdated emails and spam traps removed). So in reality, I only got about 1,500 usable leads.

Cons

This provider initially seemed exciting because you get access to prospects' mobile numbers. But when I tried creating personas (e.g CEOs in software tech, directors in California, with businesses of 100 or fewer employees), there were far fewer leads than expected. I only managed to extract 750 tech leads and 450 arts/museum leads with mobile phones available. Beyond this small number, niche leads with mobile phones just don't exist in UpLead. They also tend to be from larger companies. Another issue is that these mobile phone leads are likely getting flooded with spam since their numbers are listed on lead gen websites, including this one! UpLead offers a $600 per month plan that allows you to download 2,000 leads but the issues mentioned above make it less impressive. Adding to that, the leads start to go bad after just a couple of weeks, which makes this platform not very useful for many small businesses. Finally, their sales guy claimed they have an amazingly clean database with up-to-date emails, so I wouldn't need my own data cleaning system (like Zerobounce). This was not true. My own data cleaning system found issues with 25% of their �best� data. That's pretty disappointing.

No reminders before renewal, no refund options, and no after-sales support

Pros

The UI is great, it's easy to use and it's not too expensive for us.

Cons

Unlike other subscriptions, UpLead doesn't notify you when your subscription is due for renewal and will automatically charge your credit card. Even though I was unhappy with the product and service, they have a strict no-refund policy.

Top-notch B2B leads

Pros

We loved UpLead's filtering system, which helped us find targeted contacts quickly. We integrated Salesforce with UpLead and directly exported the leads. The customer support team was also very helpful during our campaign!

Cons

UpLead should update the leads more regularly and remove the bad ones. They claim a 97% lead accuracy but we received 5%-15% bad leads, which should be less than 5%. You have to be very careful when filtering, as one mistake can lead to a lot of garbage data.
