Loving everything about zoomInfo!

Pros

I find ZoomInfo to have very accurate prospect data, and I have found it to be extremely easy to use.

Cons

There isn't much I didn't like. The information is super accurate, and I haven't run into any issues so far.

Good features, but lacks consistency

Pros

I really appreciate the access to cell phone numbers, the filters that help me build lists, and the functionality for importing and exporting data. The customized feed has also been a nice feature to have.

Cons

I feel there is a lot of unnecessary features compared to their core offering. I can't build effectively off a lead because the notes and history aren't efficient enough. Some of the data seems outdated and is not updated properly. The web insights about buyers don't seem to be relevant at all. It seems like they focus more on flashy features than actual substance.

Great data, but pricey for small teams

Pros

ZoomInfo offers an extensive database of contacts and company information, which is incredibly valuable for prospecting and lead generation. The depth of data, including firmographics and technographics, has proven to be highly useful for me.

Cons

The high cost of ZoomInfo can be a problem, especially for smaller teams like mine. Also, some of the data is outdated or inaccurate, which leads to wasted efforts when reaching out to prospects.

Beware of ZoomInfo's expensive service

Pros

Based on my experience, I have nothing positive to report. They are extremely dismissive of complaints.

Cons

ZoomInfo promised cell phone numbers for HR buyers, but when I tried to get them, they argued with me and only gave me about 25%. Plus, they charged me more for it! I told them I had my own list of buyers and didn't want random HR buyers, but that's what I got. We reached out right away after noticing the issue, but it was never resolved. The person we spoke to initially was gone, and the guy we met with acknowledged none of our concerns or frustration. They even sent our account to collections, even though they didn't deliver on what they sold us. I plan to send them a message to make sure they know how frustrating this was for us! We contacted them immediately after the purchase since we didn't have a chance to see what we were getting before we bought.

Key contact data for sales and marketing

Pros

The flowchart is the part I appreciate most. I like that the reports can be displayed along with additional information about who is submitting them. Being able to get in touch with the right people greatly improves the sales process for me. Thanks to the daily or weekly triggers, I do not have to spend too much time on reports, which is a huge benefit. When it comes to account and contact data, ZoomInfo really shines. All the information provided is accurate and actionable, and the reporting tools and dashboards are exceptional, offering a wealth of useful information.

Cons

I've had some challenges loading contacts into our CRM. Sometimes, the subscription activation email includes all the details, but other times, it just repeats the same information.

Innovative with advanced features

Pros

It is essential to my day-to-day work as an editorial researcher. I honestly could not do my job without it.

Cons

It's hard to say. Any issues I have with it are probably due to my own lack of knowledge.

ZoomInfo data collection

Pros

I have been using ZoomInfo for the past three years to get executive and brand details, and I find it to be doing quite well. I can get all the C-level, Director, President, and Vice President executive details, including their email IDs and phone numbers. For brands, I can get a complete list of acquisitions and subsidiaries. I can also import all this data into CSV format, which is extremely useful.

Cons

Sometimes, there are missing details when I'm doing research for clients. For example, recent acquisitions for brands aren't listed in ZoomInfo, and sometimes, for executives, their email IDs and corporate phone numbers are missing. I can usually find those through other sources like Google.

New version: not worth It

Pros

I like the ability to create contact lists for lead development.

Cons

The information is often inaccurate, and it's hard to clean up the lists. The new version makes it more difficult to find company contacts. I get more value from a simple Google search than using this tool.

Best tool for uncovering lead contact Info

Pros

The amount of information...phone numbers, emails, job information, company info, and news, that I can get on one prospect in under a minute is impressive. The contact information is usually 90% accurate.

Cons

Some entries have no information at all, it doesn't have the best CRM features, and the price is quite high.

Frustrating customer service

Pros

Aside from being very expensive, I find ZoomInfo's customer service to be poor. I reached out to cancel my subscription, but I was told an account manager would call me. To this day, I have not heard from anyone.

Cons

Aside from being very expensive, ZoomInfo's customer service is really poor. I reached out to cancel my subscription, but I was told an account manager would call me. To this day, no one has contacted me.

Ultimate sales tool

Pros

I like the ease of use when it comes to building account plans and hierarchy trees for accounts. I can easily build contact lists for prospecting and import them into SFDC. Their support staff has always been on top of my requests.

Cons

Sometimes, the data is outdated, and contacts do not have direct lines.

Pros

It is very easy to use, provides accurate information, and works seamlessly with the systems I currently use.

My experience with zoomInfo

Pros

It has been a huge help to my team in getting perfect data, and Apollo has proven to be an excellent resource for lead generation. It's extensive and well-functioning database has been invaluable to our lead generation team. Apollo has also been quite beneficial to the sales team by providing free emails and numbers.

Cons

It gives free credits that some other tools don't, though they only offer 5 or 10 credits. That's why I enjoy using ZoomInfo.

Never sign an agreement in europe...Here's Why

Pros

I have nothing positive to say. They can't deliver the data they promise.

Cons

ZoomInfo promises high data quality, but I've found it to be very poor. They don't live up to their promises after the contract is signed, and even threaten legal action when they know they can't deliver what they sold. The onboarding person even said, "We know the data quality in Europe is poor because of GDPR" but they still promise 95% accuracy.

Amazing data enrichment tool

Pros

I use ZoomInfo to find the correct data for prospecting or to enrich existing contacts. It helps me understand an organization's hierarchy and look up targeted contacts in specific roles. I absolutely love the buyer intent tool that shows if any companies are researching my software, allowing me to focus on targeted outreach.

Cons

I've found that it is not the best for prospecting outside the US. The data for EMEA and APAC regions is not as widely available.
