Able to gain faster insights with this tool

Pros

Alloy has helped us centralize our data in one place significantly boosting efficiency for our sales, marketing and regulatory teams. Also the implementation was smooth and customer service has gone above and beyond.

Cons

Proven really valuable

Pros

The ease of use is simply amazing. Also the speed at which it returns data is impressive. It is very simple to create custom dashboards and the insights are limitless. Plus the graphics are clear and easy to understand.

Cons

I do not have any complaints at the moment. Everything is working perfectly so far.

Able to set it up in no time

Pros

Getting up and running with Alloy was pretty easy. Plus their ability to handle various data formats was something great. And the team is highly collaborative and consistently provides effective solutions to any issues or queries we encounter.

Cons

We cannot customize facts to match our internal naming conventions and it does not support tracking multiple currencies.

One spot for all our data needs

Pros

It is amazing to have data from multiple retailers in one database. My Executive Team loves having a single dashboard that displays sales trends week to week across different retailers or product groups. Also I appreciate how the data aligns with our internal product categories. It is a powerful tool that continues to grow and improve. And customer service is excellent too.

Cons

Honestly my dislikes are minor. Like sometimes it is tricky to find certain metrics for specific retailers. For instance figuring out where a product is in the supply chain can be a bit confusing and time consuming.

Pros

Being able to tailor the dashboards the way I want has been the most valuable part. When I start typing a filter, it quickly suggests what I'm looking for which makes the whole experience feel very convenient and efficient.

Cons

Because there are so many filters and toggle options available, I know there are plenty of useful attributes I still haven't discovered. Each filter also has its own nuances and I wish I had a better understanding of how all those features work.

Custom dashboards

Pros

Whenever we have questions, the response time is impressively fast and that is something I really appreciate. The team also takes plenty of time to walk us through the processes patiently which makes everything much easier to understand.

Cons

Hardest part for me has been telling which section I am currently working in. Adding color coding to the different sections would make it much faster to recognize what page I'm on.

Help desk solution

Pros

Keeping multiple data sources in sync works really well and the high-level dashboards with drill-down options make it simple to move from a broad view into the details. Editing is easy and being able to create custom reports on my own is a big plus.

Cons

Every now and then some of the specific metrics I need have data gaps but those are usually resolved without much trouble by working back with the team.

Pros

Getting started with it was very easy and the flexibility around handling different data formats made a big difference. The team has also been a pleasure to work with, they're responsive and consistently come up with great solutions whenever questions or issues come up.

Cons

One limitation is that we can't customize facts to match our familiar internal naming conventions. It also doesn't support tracking multiple currencies.

Flexible data workspace

Pros

Across a wide range of use cases, the functionality is easy to work with. Being able to aggreatate information across retailers is incredibly useful and the one-click sharing with other users makes collaboration much simpler. It also feels more engaging than the other platforms we've used before.

Cons

Formatting options are pretty limited, with very little flexibility available. It's a reasonable trade-off for how easy the platform is to use but it's still something that gets requested often when we share the application with others.

Easy-to-use framework

Pros

Handling large volumes of data across multiple retail accounts has become much more manageable with this software. I used to spend hours every week pulling together POS data from different sources but now that process is automated. That frees me up to focus directly on trend analysis and answering business questions using their user-friendly tools.

Cons

After working with this software for six years, I still have not run into a problem their team was unwilling to address quickly. They continue releasing improvements and new features in real time which keeps making the product better. One example was when some of the item update tools felt awkward to use and they promptly improved the interface based on that feedback.
