BarCloud’s Inventory Requisition feature provides a mobile-friendly interface where pre-authorized users can browse and request available inventory items via CartCloud. It supports configurable approval cycles with up to three levels of authorization, ensuring secure and documented workflow.
The software’s Inventory Management system handles multiple inventory types, including serialized, batch/lot, and non-inventory items across unlimited locations or SKUs. It supports requisitions, asset check-in/check-out, kitting, maintenance scheduling, and approval workflows.
BarCloud features Asset Tracking module which applies barcode-based tracking for assets, enabling users to print labels that can be scanned via mobile or scanners. It supports maintenance scheduling, condition tracking, and audit histories to ensure full lifecycle management and asset accountability.
The system allows generation of configurable barcodes and QR codes for assets and inventory with support for storing extensive data in QR codes and dynamic database-linked barcodes. These codes are scannable by various devices, allowing external visibility of embedded information.
