it is ok however I am quite new to Accounting Seed so it is s a bit tricky when it comes to posting entries. You really need a solid understanding of accounting to understand it properly.

Cons

Well it is difficult to link reports to Salesforce data.

Pros

Features like Bank Connect and the option to replicate payable lines and journal entries stand out to me. Those are some of the best features available for sure.

Cons

Payment processing in Accounts Payable is a bit limited since all payable components like vendors, insurance companies and producers share the same general ledger account.

It can be customized to fit with existing Salesforce business processes and it offers powerful reporting and dashboard features.

The user interface is tied to Salesforce design, which makes it a bit click-heavy.

The features or tools it provides allow us to not only handle our current needs but also prepare for future growth. Also it provides us with the knowledge and analysis we need.

While the product is highly customizable, it takes a lot of effort to set up basic functions that we as end users are looking for. We are still working toward achieving the results we need.

Pros

Creating financial reports with it is very easy and comes in handy for monthly closures and the automations that can be built using accounting seed objects make the process more organized.

Cons

There are some performance limitations with few of the features like Bank Reconciliation and the option to mass post/unpost or update records is not available across all objects. Overall its a great software but its not the easiest to get started with.

Pros

The software is simple to access accounting data. I use it regularly for posting transactions and financial reporting and I find all the information I need is readily available.

Cons

It is a bit complicated to view both the debit and credit of a journal entry on the same screen.

The user interface and user experience are both the best so far and the overall management of accounting along with its security features is excellent.

Learning the different accounting terms and steps requires quite a bit of experience and exposure and the process could be simplified.

Pros

We were searching for something integrated with Salesforce that was not very costly but at the same time easy to use and accessible to all employees. It is when we come across Accounting Seed and to our surprise it fit all the requirements we have pretty perfectly. Plus the installation process and training on its features were simple and easy.

Cons

The only thing which I do not like is that credit card processing is external so I have to manually handle recurring billing. Its a minor inconvenience though since I can process them in fairly large batches and it still creates the cash receipts and applies them to the invoices automatically.

Supporting Accounting Seed is easy since its natively integrated with Salesforce.

Cons

I like the double entry accounting feature in this enterprise solution. However users coming from single entry systems like QuickBooks often require extra training and initial support.

Accounting Seed pricing is very reasonable and fair. Also the integration with Salesforce is smooth.

The input screens for payables and receivables feel too cluttered and it takes a lot of time to scroll or tab through fields that are not relevant. When you drill into a journal entry from an account, you only see one side of the entry but you really need to see all sides of the JE. Also the provided import templates do not always work either. After we installed the system in July, we found out in September that we needed an upgrade but we were not notified about it. And we are still thinking that why does not that happen automatically? Also we had an issue with applying cash receipts and it took a week for Support to inform us about the upgrade. Plus there were no clear instructions on how to proceed with the upgrade.

It is easy to use for my day to day accounting tasks. I have used other softwares in the past however my experience with them was not that great. But Accounting Seed has exceeds my expectations in a positive manner.

I wish it were easier to merge reports when I have to combine two reports into one.

I am very much satisfied with Accounting Seed. Now it is fairly easy for me to manage all my financial data as it is at one place and I do no have to import or export it between systems.

Honestly understanding all the configurations and customizations required to tailor the platform to my companys specific needs is not as easy as we thought.

What I really like about Accounting Seed is its customization options which fit our needs perfectly. Also it integrates smoothly with banks and other financial institutions which makes the whole process easier to manage. What I like most is how scalable and flexible it is as it helps us prepare our accounting for the future. Even for the non accounting members of our team, its simple to navigate and use.

Cons

Connecting the banks with the platform is tricky at first as it does not always sync on the first attempt so you often have to try multiple times. Customer support is another weak point as the process is not smooth and they take time to respond. Once they do, solving the problem with the platform takes additional time.

The support staff, especially the customer support team member assisting was very helpful when we encountered an issue with bank reconciliation.

Creating new reports can be difficult mainly when it comes to writing the reports.

Customer support has been excellent. I get the help I need quickly and the reporting tools are very useful.

The knowledge base could be more user friendly particularly for Org Admins who have less accounting experience. Also it would be helpful if more areas like Page Layouts and Apex were available for customization.

It is a good accounting app to integrate with Salesforce especially if you are aiming to create an ERP system. Also it is pretty quick to learn.

There are limitations with financial reports. It would be great to have more flexibility and additional training on reporting.

Accounting Seed is packed with features like foreign currency translation, multiple ledgers and consolidation. Plus it is one of the easiest platforms for creating automations not just within Accounting Seed modules but across all other Salesforce modules too.

Cons

For GL reports and trial balances for a specific period, it would be better if the beginning and ending balances were displayed along with all the period debits and credits for a GL account.

Pros

Since it runs on top of Salesforce, integration with CPQ and other SFDC-based packages is quite smooth. Reporting is also very simple mainly if you are familiar with SFDC or other cloud ERP systems. It is also easy to set up and manage multiple ledgers, departments and cost centers.

Cons

It is tough to make adjustments, troubleshoot errors or make changes without either costly external support or a highly experienced internal admin. The AR module does not account for unapplied cash from customers which adds a lot of overhead when trying to generate accurate aging reports and statements. plus accounting periods and transaction dates aren't always synchronized, which can affect balances based on how a report is generated.

I like that every part of the system is set up the same way, so it does not get confusing to use.

Cons

Well it is not the best but I come to know that the financial statements, especially the balance sheet do not quite meet our needs and could be made more user friendly.

Its integration into Salesforce and the potential for automation are things I really like.

Some of the Visualforce pages for certain tasks are very slow to refresh. Even though I am using a modern computer with an SSD and 900 Mbps internet, I often find myself waiting 8 to 20 seconds for a refresh before I can proceed.

It integrates pretty easily and smoothly with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The interface is consistent with Salesforce which makes it easy to deploy and enhance. It covers all the essential needs of SMBs including recurring billing.

Cons

The slow release of new features and updates that customers are asking for is a concern. There is also limited out of the box integration with key systems for automating accounting processes like cash applications and a lack of seamless integration with various banks for processing customer payments. However, I have noticed they are becoming more proactive in addressing gaps and responding to popular customer requests.

The biggest advantage Accounting Seed offers is how easily it communicates with FieldFX which is our main operating system.

The main drawback I see is that there is no credit card reconciliation application within Accounting Seed. If they added that feature it would simplify things a lot.

The software is very very reliable and it is quite is impressive. Moreover once you get the hang of it you will get to know that all transaction details are right there. What I really like is that our sales team can assist with data entry and billing timing.

Cons

While the reporting features are great, I did not receive any training on how to use them. Because of its flexibility, having upfront training is important I believe to properly get the information I need.

The reports are quite unusual. When trying to access basic reports like the P&L or Balance Sheet, the layout and user interface are not ideal.

Their data base is very helpful mainly if you do not mind searching for answers. Even though It can be a bit tricky to navigate at times but most solutions are there.

Cons

The data base also has outdated materials that are not always removed, so I often have to select through old information to find solutions for the latest version of the software.

Its interface is very user friendly and presents information in a way that is easy to understand.

Cons

If you skip one or two updates you cannot jump straight to the latest one. The package upgrades need to happen in order and this process could be improved. Otherwise everything else works great.
