The best app for debt collection management

Pros

No matter how many ways you need to adapt for debt collection, Ace has got your back. It can be set up in virtually every way possible to help you achieve your goals. I have been using this software and have worked with small as well as large organizations with ease. Managing hundreds of clients is no longer an issue, and it automates a lot of your work so that hiring dedicated employees is useless. There are so many other features, and I would love to explore them further.

Cons

It would be a stretch to call it a con, but the system is a bit difficult to get a grasp of. There are a lot of features that need more attention to be implemented properly, and then the training is long as well. However, this part of the software is more of an expected hurdle than an unexpected one. A piece of software this advanced definitely needs extra effort from the user to bear fruit. Once you set up everything in detail, youd honestly see the benefits pretty soon.

ACE Software is the best on the market

Pros

I appreciate that we can manage and tailor many options within ACE to suit our needs, such as reporting, correspondence, workflows, and jobs.

Cons

I couldn't set up our own mapping for importing return check data, but Interprose arranged it for us outside of ACE.

You'll need to wear sunglasses (the future's so bright)

Pros

The system's architecture allows us to make decisions at the consumer level rather than just at the debt level. This is crucial for managing medical debt bundles effectively through our internal database. ACE supports our system flow and adhoc reporting needs perfectly.

Cons

The trade-off for flexibility is complexity. Since we don't have full-time IT staff, we're slower to adopt changes. Although the wider range of plug-in interfaces is excellent, it's taking us some time to implement due to our small size.

It automatically updates the account applies for the payment and/or updates all credit bureau reporting. The best thing about ACE is the automated payments system allows my debtors to login and make partial payments, payment-in-full, or simply dispute their account.

WEBAR? ACE? INTERPROSE?

Pros

Exporting accounts into Excel is something I find incredibly convenient. The seamless process of transferring data from this software into Excel spreadsheets not only saves time but also enhances my workflow by providing a straightforward method to organize and analyze information. This feature allows me to efficiently manage and manipulate data, ensuring that I can easily track and monitor financial transactions, generate comprehensive reports, and make informed decisions based on accurate data analysis.

Cons

Performing certain actions involves too many steps. My team takes longer due to system sluggishness with accounts containing many bundles. I'm dissatisfied with inaccurate reports and slow service responses. I especially dislike being informed of extra charges for items or corrections when ACE created the report or jobs.

When it is working it is great, when it doesn't it is a nightmare.

Cons

We've been using WebAR for four years now. Between years two and three, we noticed a decline in customer support. However, beginning this year, they've addressed this by hiring more staff, and the improvement is noticeable. Previously, I had to chase support for updates and questions, but this year has been a complete turnaround. Responses are now timely, informative, and helpful. I rate customer support a 3 due to past poor service on average, but if this trend continues, it could easily be a 5.

This system's configurability for A/R and debt collection management is unmatched in my 25 years of industry experience. From small agencies to large national ones, it stands out for its automation capabilities and extensive functionality.

Cons

Is there a con? There's nothing negative about this system. If I had to stretch and find something I like least, it could be the setup time. However, if you're objective and serious about maximizing the system's benefits, setup time isn't a purchasing factor but a planning and development one. Investing time upfront in proper setup translates to daily time savings because the system handles tasks automatically.
