Pros
Using it is simple, the support is free and being able to log in online from anywhere is really convenient.
Cons
The monthly subscription cost is the part I don't care for. I'd rather pay one flat price for the software instead.

“Bookkeeping that keeps improving”
Pros
After more than five years of using it, our bookkeeping still feels simple and efficient. It has been reliable the whole time and we really haven't run into any problems. As new features have been added over the years, we've been able to use some of them and that has made the platform even more valuable for us.
Cons
Would be nice to have an add-on that can generate and complete a 990 tax form. From what I've heard, that may already be in development so we're excited for that to become available.

“Affordable nonprofit accounting win”
Pros
It really fills an important gap for nonprofits by offering an affordable accounting option that is simple and basic to use. That matters a lot when the person handling the books is often a volunteer and may not have the background needed for a more complicated system like QuickBooks. The customer service has also been exceptional. I appreciate that they offer a free month to test it out first and we have never had trouble accessing the website. Since I work in an accountant's office, being able to log in online anytime to review a client's transaction progress at no extra cost is incredibly helpful. It genuinely feels like a company focused on serving nonprofits rather than just squeezing out more money.
Cons
The reporting is useful and covers the basics but having a few additional options such as a cash flow report, would make it even better. Also because it is entirely cloud-based and only works over the internet, that could be a drawback for some users. That said it is simple to download monthly reports and transactions into Excel so you can still keep all of your information saved on your own computer hard drive.
