“AvidXchange is a great handholder for advancement
Pros
The onboarding process has had the most significant impact on me. They meet with me weekly to address and explain any issues that arise, ensuring I have a good understanding of the operations. Their patience with those who are less tech-savvy is fantastic. Although the software interface may appear busy, everything is labeled logically, and exploring the system is easy without causing any problems.
Cons
It was challenging for us that there was no way to link "class" from QuickBooks to AX. As a semi-governmental organization, we need to track expenditures in a very detailed manner, and this posed difficulties.

Pros
The best thing about AvidXchange is that they receive all our paper invoices, scan them into the system, and filter out duplicates.
Cons
One thing I am not a fan of the time it takes to move an invoice from the approval status to the paid status. Many vendors end up calling because the payment has been delayed for so long.

Pros
AvidPay allowed us to eliminate our check cutting process, provided convenient payment options for vendors and reduced security risks in our payment process which results in net savings.
Cons
Every month, I retrieve a report from the Avid platform to verify that payments made have been received by our vendors. The report takes a while to load, perhaps around 15 seconds. The transaction description in the bank statement looks slightly different, but all the necessary information is present for reconciling statements.

“AvidXchange - Like having an extra employee
Pros
Although I was hesitant in the start about making the move, transitioning to AvidXchange was effortless. It has significantly reduced my workload. Invoices are scanned into AVID, they enter most of the invoice details and I verify, perform account coding and post invoices for processing. AVID has cut my AP processing time by 30 to 50%. It is very user friendly and a huge time saver. I absolutely love it!
Cons
My only concern with this program is the limited reporting capabilities. However, I believe this is within the control of our organizations Administrator/CFO and their preferences for setup.
