Pros
GoCodes gives you the ability to apply a GoCode to an asset and create a history with detailed information that can be accessed later. This is particularly helpful when equipment being sent to customers worldwide, as it simplifies tracking the location and details for spare parts and preventative maintenance.
Cons
Sometimes I've noticed that it works slow, but I believe it depends on the internet connection and location. The stickers have come off in certain wet environments.

Pros
We like the ability to track and make changes online from our phones.
Cons
It would be helpful if the order of barcodes could start from the last number given when we need more or renew. Also the cost is higher than what we expected.

“Simple and Easy to Use
Pros
The phone app makes it easily accessible regardless of location which eventually eliminates the need to purchase handheld scanners. The web portal is user-friendly and should be intuitive for anyone born after 1980.
Cons
It doesn't handle special characters well. For example, when entering "Microsoft Surface Pro 7+" as a model type, it often drops the "+" after saving the entry. This leads to inaccurate information being saved unless you go back and correct it until it accepts it.

Pros
As the administrator or any employee user, I can simply look on the app to see the location of an item instead of receiving calls asking for its whereabouts. This saves me time and eliminates the need to search for the item and provide them with the information.
Cons
It would be better if when someone checks out an item with GoCodes, it automatically checks it out for me and sends a notification, rather than me having to manually check it out after receiving a notification.

Pros
This product has truly been a time saver for us. It makes checking out equipment for events and tracking responsibility so easy. Being a non-profit, we undergo audits every year, and having an updated inventory/asset report to submit has saved us hours of work in tracking down equipment information.
Cons
The only thing we wished for is that was an automatic GPS tracking system. That way, if equipment is left behind, we could track it down. Our staff struggles with scanning it in at every location they visit.

Pros
The ease of access and user-friendly interface allow anyone to use this software without an issue. I can access and use it in the field or at the office. It's excellent for inventory tracking and managing rental equipment.
Cons
Sometimes things can get lost in the system or not register when "checked out." There are minor bugs here and there, but that's normal for most online systems.

“Great Program for Organizing Inventory
Pros
This program is simple to use and allows me to list all the assistive technology and durable medical equipment we loan out to patients. The app allows us to conveniently check items in and out on the go. I can easily search to see how many devices of each type we have and what is available for loaning.
Cons
I wish there were more features available in the reports that can be generated, such as the duration a piece of equipment has been checked out.

Pros
GoCodes has been a valuable addition to our toolset. We use it to manage our sample and trial stock across multiple storage facilities and client sites. Our Sales team relies on it for issuing and tracking samples, quickly accessing product information,and locating samples in storage. Our Operations team uses it for stocktaking and depreciation. Having a single source of truth that can be updated and accessed by all our mobile phones is fantastic. It ensures we don't lose samples and saves us time during stocktakes.
Cons
One challenge, which isn't the software's fault, is that our storage facilities have poor mobile reception. When we conduct stocktakes, we take photos of the barcodes and scan them later once we have reception again. It would be great if the app could cache the scanned barcodes and update them once it goes back online.

Pros
We have recently started using the software to track our assets. Our main areas of focus are maintenance tracking and asset depreciation accounting. It's a great advantage to have one software that addresses both needs.
Cons
So far, I really wish there was a way for a person to "check out" an item. For example, we have several golf carts on campus. I would love for an employee (not someone from our group of 20 admin users) to approach a cart, scan the code, select their name and "check it out." Go-Codes could then record the timestamp, the person who checked it out (and later checked it back in). This would provide us with an easy record of who has the assets. Currently, it seems like it does something similar to this, but it appears to simply email (and record the email) to the asset's account. The email could contain any information, so it would be nice if it automatically provided us with the necessary details (in other words, made it "idiot proof").

Pros
What I like the most about GoCodes is how fast and easy it is to keep track of the furniture we have loaned out.
Cons
This software has the potential to be great, but it lacks some features. Firstly, I think it could be improved by adding thumbnail images for all assets in the Asset List view. Currently, I have to hover over each asset one by one or switch views to see the asset image. Secondly, when I manually check-in an asset, it still shows the previous scanned location on the map. It would be helpful if this could be automated better, as sometimes I don't have time to scan assets when checking them in. I can manually change the location, but it can be time-consuming. If I check in at our location, it's obvious that the asset has moved. Lastly, I would like to have the option to do basic editing of asset images within the software. Simple tasks like rotate, crop, and mirror would make it faster and easier. Currently, I have to edit each image before uploading, and if I want to make changes like mirroring the asset or adjusting the brightness, I have to upload an entirely new image.

Adding and deleting items is not a problem with Gocodes, and the product is very intuitive and user-friendly.
Cons
I wish the customized columns offered a "paragraph" option so that I could have another area to make notes about the asset.

It helps us effectively track our inventory, and the QR codes make the process much easier.
Cons
It's annoying that I can only upload one picture per product. It would be much better if we could have at least four pictures per product to see all the features.

The user-friendly interface makes it easy to use. It has tools that simplify searching for inventory physically, and you can easily access your digital inventory information. Downloading data from our GoCodes account is hassle-free and allows us to work seamlessly.
Cons
The best part would be if we could link the GoCodes database with the Power Bi software.
