As a company, our main services revolve around tracking equipment in the field and determining its location. So in these respective areas GoCodes serve us well.

Everything is good about this software but I believe there is always a room for improvement.

What I love the most about GoCodes is that all the information is consolidated in one convenient place. Additionally, the easy accessibility of information through scanning QR codes is fantastic for us, especially when we don't have access to a PC.

Cons

It would be great if the assets on the map could have different colors to differentiate between various types. It would make things more organized. Additionally, I find it unfortunate that the text fields under custom fields have limited space.

GoCodes is an excellent tool for managing inventory, tracking equipment and maintaining an equipment replacement schedule. The seamless sorting, filtering and review options make this software the best.

Cons

Occasionally, the preloaded data points in GoCodes can become inconsistent and affect the accuracy of your data. It would be helpful to have improved directions, support and guidance for using each preset data point. Even having a mouseover feature to view the full data characteristics of each preset item would be beneficial.

Our Marketing team can easily see which assets are checked out, where they are assigned, and when they are expected back. GoCodes allows us to showcase our available event assets to internal customers. We can track asset conditions and storage locations for efficient deployment. The reporting function is excellent for monitoring assets in the field, assignment and expected return dates.

The customer support service could be improved to be more timely and efficient.

Importing data is so easy with GoCodes, and the scanning feature works well. The geographical location feature is useful for finding assets. Although we haven't used the warehousing section yet, GoCodes provides a quick and easy solution for inventory and shipping tracking.

We faced challenges during implementation, and the reporting and integration capabilities are not enough. There has been no follow-up from GoCodes support to ensure we are using the software to its maximum potential and optimizing our setup in a best possible manner. It feels like once we purchased the product, we were left to figure everything out on our own on an island.

With GoCodes, I can easily scan assets using the app or input information online. There are multiple areas where I can add specific asset details, and running customized reports for my school's needs is also a simple task.

The new stickers they're using don't hold up well. They might work fine in a corporate setting, but with students handling the assets every day, the stickers wear out or fade quickly.

I can identify machines on sites even when technicians fail to send me information. It has helped me locate lost units and determine the specific units we were searching for.

It would be great to have more space for pictures on-site. Occasionally, there's a glitch in the search function.

Implementing and starting to use GoCodes is incredibly simple. I have trained several people in our company on how to use the system in case I'm not available. The product's simplicity allows for training in less than 10 minutes. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to small businesses and even larger ones that are just beginning to manage their inventory or assets.

Cons

I would prefer using a handheld scanner instead of my cell phone to scan products. I don't like having to constantly take out my cell phone.
