Bait and Switch Pricing

Pros

I loved the program. It was simple to use after some setup and works perfectly for our company and our safety requirements.

Cons

The initial year was costly but somewhat justifiable. I was paying $3700 CDN plus tax. Now, as it's time to renew, they've introduced a tier system, and to retain what I currently have (and keep the setup I spent months on), the price has surged to $4989.50 (this is after the $850 discount). That's an incredible 40% increase before the discount, 28% after. How can I justify that? If I downgrade to their basic Essentials tier, I still have to pay $4476.95, which is 21% more than the first year but with half the functionality. It's a bait and switch. Avoid them unless you want to spend months setting up and then get gouged at renewal.

Pros

It's incredibly simple to use as both an administrator and a user. Documents are processed in real-time and you receive them instantly. It keeps documents well-organized and easy to locate, and tracks certifications and expiration dates effectively. Ideal for safety audits!

Cons

I don't have any complaints. There are always new updates and features added to enhance performance.

Works as it should, but the annual rate increase is a bit much

Pros

The offline access to forms and documents is invaluable since we do a lot of field work.

Cons

The annual rate hike of nearly $1000 was quite a shock with few changes beneficial to our company, but we've spent hours setting everything up and don't want to redo it in another program. It feels like a trap.

Pros

The layout of forms for administrators and the certification tracking are great.

Cons

The web app layout is not intuitive, especially when clients need to use it. Admins or workers can't edit a location once a form has been submitted. Once a form has been created as "Private" or not, you can't change it, so I'd have to recreate the form from scratch.

Excellent Safety Management Program

Pros

We have enhanced visibility of our safety inspectors, superintendents, and foremen's activities on various job sites daily.

Cons

The Analytics section of Site Docs is not very intuitive, but with the help of Site Docs Technical Dept., we managed to use this section for quick and accurate monthly reporting for our executive team.

Pros

The ease of use and availability of all necessary safety information in the field is impressive. It also provides safety information at all times without needing an internet connection.

Cons

Some languages are not available, which makes it hard to understand some things and requires translation outside the program.

Site Docs - Faster, Better, Easier

Pros

I love that the entire program is paperless. I don't have to chase people for documents. I can easily monitor form completion and follow up when it's not done. It simplifies ensuring all workers complete forms as required. Site Docs boosts worker participation through form completion, eliminating the need to manage physical papers.

Cons

Not much I dislike - I've communicated the need for a hazard assessment table for use in forms. All other features are great.

Pros

The system is very manageable. The interface is outstanding, and the form options are good. It simplifies managing safety.

Cons

Essential OHS Management System tool

Pros

We are a small business with a limited number of employees and varying skill levels in managing systems. When we aimed for COR certification, we knew we needed help running and managing the required system. SiteDocs provided a solution that handled most of the grunt work, allowing our employees to focus on their tasks while supplying them with all the OHMS tools they need to stay safe and provide evidence of compliance.

Cons

The reporting system for recording issues and the need for corrective/preventive actions is excellent, but the way employees are assigned to deal with those actions could be better if it included an alert directly to their mobile phone.

Great value with simple rollout

Pros

I prefer this product because it was easy to implement in the field. Operators in the field get a say in the forms we create, making these documents their own. This fosters a sense of ownership.

Cons

When we first got SiteDocs, it was set up through trial and error to see what worked best for our company, and now all the forms are still visible. I would like a feature to archive old forms that will never be used again. The same with employees if you make a mistake setting up an employee, they are permanently there.

Pros

SiteDocs was an instant success in our business due to the ease of creating forms, outstanding and prompt customer service, accessible analytics services, and its intuitive design. It's essential for obtaining and maintaining our Certificate of Compliance, and we achieved the same in the Food department.

Cons

As of now, it is not possible to create a form that would instantly generate proper replies or actions based on the input, which would be useful for cause analysis and hazard recognition forms.

Pros

I recall the days of lugging boxes of documents in my truck to stay compliant. Now, every document and form is in the palm of each employee's hand. SiteDocs is integrated into every aspect of our work.

Cons

It's simple for employees to use. Our forms can be easily customized and set up by SiteDocs personnel. The setup process is well-supported.

Cons

The extra charge for Analytics should be standard. There is no system to alert personnel when training is expiring; it should send a notification to the employee about the training that is about to lapse.
