“User-friendly with quick fixes”
Pros
The interface is very user-friendly and using it doesn't feel overly complicated at all. Thankfully, it's not anything like open-heart surgery and if mistakes happen, they're usually simple to correct.
Cons
The reporting feature is a big drawback for our firm since it's such an important part of what we need. There's also very little, if any, room for customization.

“helpful onboarding and support”
Pros
Getting started felt much better thanks to the terrific coach assigned to me. They stayed with me through the process and helped sort out the unique issues we had which made the system work the way I needed it to.
Cons
It took some time to figure out which entries were supposed to go where. A diagram showing the overall structure would probably make that clearer especially since there seems to be more than one way to handle it.

“Simple billing that just works”

I was able to begin using the billing features with almost no instruction and the whole system feels very simple.

“Impressive support and training”
Pros
What I appreciate most about it is how convenient it is to use. Since it is so user-friendly, we've been able to cut an administrative role which translated into payroll savings on top of the lower costs compared with our old timekeeping system. I'm also really impressed with the support and training, they've been available and helpful whenever we've needed guidance. Their onboarding and help resources made the transition very smooth.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints about this product. On the occasions when I thought a feature was missing, their support team always showed me where the function actually was and walked me through how to use it.

“cost-saving tool”
Pros
TimeSolv has been a really simple system to work with and that usability has made a big difference for us. Since it's simple to use, we were actually able to eliminate an administrative position which created additional savings on top of what we were already saving compared with our previous timekeeping software. On top of that, the support and training have been excellent whenever we've needed help.
Cons
Honestly we haven't had any real complaints about the software. Any time we thought a feature was missing, the TimeSolv support team was able to point us to where it was and walk us through how to use it properly.

“Perfect balance between usability and functionality”
Pros
Having built time and billing systems years ago for my father's CPA practice on a Wang computer, I feel pretty strongly about what a proper package should offer. I can tell you this modern version hits the sweet spot between usability and functionality. After I left a national CPA firm I was hunting for an affordable, sensible solution and, from my perspective, this one stood head and shoulders above the rest. Simple where it needs to be but with the features I actually rely on.
Cons
I'd really appreciate an organized setup page when I add a new client so every required field appears on a single screen. An option to import client records from Excel would save me a lot of time during onboarding.

“Best modern billing fit”
Pros
Having built time and billing systems years ago for my father's CPA firm on a Wang computer, I've got pretty firm opinions about what a solid package should be. This feels like the modern version of that idea, with a really good balance between simplicity and useful features. After leaving a national CPA firm, I needed something cost-effective that also made practical sense to me and this ended up being the best option I came across.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is a dedicated new-client setup screen that puts every required input on a single page or at least an option to import that information from Excel.

“strongly recommended!!”
Pros
After launching my own law practice following many years as a managing department partner at a firm, I had used Clio at my previous workplace and was generally satisfied with it. When I set up my own firm and began using TimeSolv, I discovered a whole range of new features and approaches that genuinely improved the client experience in ways I hadn't expected. Several clients have told me how much they appreciate the invoicing flow and the manner in which invoices are delivered. The expense feature stands out to me in particular for example, when I incur an expense I can upload the vendor receipt straight into it and the client receives that receipt as part of their invoice which makes billing much clearer. Even more important to me is the support, their customer service is truly top-notch. I can't recommend this product highly enough. I'm very happy with it and strongly encourage others to consider it for their practice!
Cons
Honestly, I don't have any real complaints. If I run into something I'm not sure about, their customer service is incredible and will often hop on a Zoom call with me, share their screen and patiently walk me through the process step by step until I'm comfortable.

“outstanding invoicing and support”
Pros
After years as a managing department partner at a firm, I opened my own law practice and switched over from Clio which I had been happy with before. Using TimeSolv introduced me to a lot of features and workflows that really improved the client experience. Clients have specifically commented on how much they appreciate the invoicing process and the way invoices are delivered. The expense tracking feature has been especially impressive. For instance, when I incur an expense, I can upload the vendor receipt directly into TimeSolv and the client receives a copy right along with the invoice. On top of that, the customer service is truly world class. I honestly can't recommend this product highly enough and have been extremely pleased with it.
Cons
i don't really have any complaints. Whenever I'm unsure about something, the support team is fantastic, they'll even jump on a Zoom call, share screens and walk me through everything step by step.

“Simplifies everything”
Pros
I find this program really simple. Everything's basically a double-click and pick. It's easy for me to add or set up new matters, invoices and client records.
Cons
Would love to see more fillable fields available within the templates. I really miss the level of flexibility that Amicus offers, with its wide array of fillable options for building template letters, pleadings and other documents.

“fast setup for matters and billing”
Pros
Everything in this software feels very simple, mostly just double-click, pick an option and move on. Adding or creating new matters, bills and clients is simple and doesn't take much effort.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is a wider range of fillable fields in the templates. That's an area where Amicus does better especially with the number of options available for building template letters, pleadings and similar documents.

“Lets me enter detailed info”
Pros
I've only used it for tracking time, keeping activity notes and handling billing. Its so easy to use and lets me include more detailed information for my clients when I send out invoices which I appreciate.
Cons
Everything I needed to do was simple and I didn't run into any real issues. That said, I would have appreciated having a few more pre-built activity options included in the software.

“Simple billing with detailed notes”
Pros
Between time tracking, activity notes and billing, it covers exactly what I need. The system is simple to use and it gives me more detailed information to share with clients when I send out invoices.
Cons
I didn't run into anything that was hard to do. The only thing I would have appreciated is having a few more built-in activity options already included in the software.

“Unprofessional team”
Pros
There's nothing about this program that differentiates it from others in the market.
Cons
We ran into major problems with their support team during what should have been a simple training. The representative assigned to us repeatedly stated she reported directly to the CEO yet her behavior felt rude and unprofessional and alarmingly, she didn't seem to really understand how the product works. While we were testing the QuickBooks integration she couldn't answer even the most basic questions. Multiple times we made it clear we did not want all of our active clients imported from QuickBooks into their system but she uploaded them anyway. The absolute low point was when she converted one of our active clients into a 'test' client so she could create an invoice and then actually emailed that test invoice to our client's contact. Instead of owning up to the mistake she spent the next ten minutes arguing with my office manager, insisting it was our manager's fault. The whole episode felt unprofessional and left us extremely frustrated and concerned about continuing with them.

“unprofessional support and risky quickbooks setup”
Pros
Nothing about this software really separates it from other competing products.
Cons
Right from the training, the experience with support was a mess. The representative we worked with, who said she reported directly to the CEO, came across as rude, unprofessional and, even worse, didn't seem to fully understand the product herself. We were evaluating the QuickBooks integration and she couldn't answer even very basic questions. On top of that, after we clearly told her multiple times that we did not want all of our active clients imported from QuickBooks, she went ahead and did it anyway. The final straw was when she changed one of our active clients into a "test" client just to create an invoice and then actually sent that test invoice to our client contact by email. After all of that, she spent the next 10 minutes arguing with my office manager and trying to blame her for the mistake.
