Pros
For the price, I found it to be excellent value. It helped me with reporting, made invoicing simpler and improved project collaboration.
Cons
Unfortunately, I found the interface to be unfriendly and they didn't give me any option to customize at all.

“Easy for time tracking and creating invoices
Pros
I really appreciate how simple the software is for tracking time, creating invoices and entering case details into the system. It makes these routine tasks quick and painless.
Cons
What frustrated me was that after I completed a demo with the company, the person who presented it ended up leaving the firm and nobody got back to me to follow up or continue the conversation which left me hanging.

Pros
Honestly, I found nothing helpful about this software. It is complicated and I wouldn't advise anyone to use it unless they have at least a Master's degree in Computer Science.
Cons
I found the product frustrating, it failed to serve my small-business needs and proved far too complicated for someone running a small operation to use effectively.

“Screen freezes often which is frustrating

I find it simple to manage and it integrates well while I'm running other applications.
Cons
Occasionally the screen will freeze on me and the wrong timer keeps running so I have to refresh the page to make everything display correctly again.

“They keep charging me

There's nothing positive I can say anymore after the way they treated me.
Cons
Closed my law firm in March of 2024 and formally notified TimeSolv that I was retiring. Even after giving notice, they continue billing my corporate Visa account, they won't stop charging me and they have refused to issue any refund.

I've found the interface really well-organized and when I mess up it's simple to undo mistakes.
Cons
For our firm the reporting feature is absolutely critical yet I get almost no options for customizing reports to suit our needs.

“Wonderful onboarding coach
Pros
My onboarding coach was brilliant. They stayed with me every step of the way and helped untangle the unique issues we faced so the system would actually work for my setup.
Cons
It took a while to figure out which entry belonged where. A diagram mapping the structure would have been useful, since there seem to be multiple ways to accomplish the same task.

“Impressive support and training
Pros
What I appreciate most about it is how convenient it is to use. Since it is so user-friendly, we've been able to cut an administrative role which translated into payroll savings on top of the lower costs compared with our old timekeeping system. I'm also really impressed with the support and training, they've been available and helpful whenever we've needed guidance. Their onboarding and help resources made the transition very smooth.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints about this product. On the occasions when I thought a feature was missing, their support team always showed me where the function actually was and walked me through how to use it.

“Perfect balance between usability and functionality

Having built time and billing systems years ago for my father's CPA practice on a Wang computer, I feel pretty strongly about what a proper package should offer. I can tell you this modern version hits the sweet spot between usability and functionality. After I left a national CPA firm I was hunting for an affordable, sensible solution and, from my perspective, this one stood head and shoulders above the rest. Simple where it needs to be but with the features I actually rely on.
Cons
I'd really appreciate an organized setup page when I add a new client so every required field appears on a single screen. An option to import client records from Excel would save me a lot of time during onboarding.

“strongly recommended!!
Pros
After launching my own law practice following many years as a managing department partner at a firm, I had used Clio at my previous workplace and was generally satisfied with it. When I set up my own firm and began using TimeSolv, I discovered a whole range of new features and approaches that genuinely improved the client experience in ways I hadn't expected. Several clients have told me how much they appreciate the invoicing flow and the manner in which invoices are delivered. The expense feature stands out to me in particular for example, when I incur an expense I can upload the vendor receipt straight into it and the client receives that receipt as part of their invoice which makes billing much clearer. Even more important to me is the support, their customer service is truly top-notch. I can't recommend this product highly enough. I'm very happy with it and strongly encourage others to consider it for their practice!
Cons
Honestly, I don't have any real complaints. If I run into something I'm not sure about, their customer service is incredible and will often hop on a Zoom call with me, share their screen and patiently walk me through the process step by step until I'm comfortable.

I find this program really simple. Everything's basically a double-click and pick. It's easy for me to add or set up new matters, invoices and client records.
Cons
Would love to see more fillable fields available within the templates. I really miss the level of flexibility that Amicus offers, with its wide array of fillable options for building template letters, pleadings and other documents.

I've only used it for tracking time, keeping activity notes and handling billing. Its so easy to use and lets me include more detailed information for my clients when I send out invoices which I appreciate.
Cons
Everything I needed to do was simple and I didn't run into any real issues. That said, I would have appreciated having a few more pre-built activity options included in the software.

“Unprofessional team

There's nothing about this program that differentiates it from others in the market.

We ran into major problems with their support team during what should have been a simple training. The representative assigned to us repeatedly stated she reported directly to the CEO yet her behavior felt rude and unprofessional and alarmingly, she didn't seem to really understand how the product works. While we were testing the QuickBooks integration she couldn't answer even the most basic questions. Multiple times we made it clear we did not want all of our active clients imported from QuickBooks into their system but she uploaded them anyway. The absolute low point was when she converted one of our active clients into a 'test' client so she could create an invoice and then actually emailed that test invoice to our client's contact. Instead of owning up to the mistake she spent the next ten minutes arguing with my office manager, insisting it was our manager's fault. The whole episode felt unprofessional and left us extremely frustrated and concerned about continuing with them.
