“Amazing customer care”
Pros
At our firm, we depend on it for all of our time tracking and legal billing needs and I personally use it every day to log client expenses. I appreciate being able to pull up reports for Ledger Entries, Expense Entries and similar items whenever I need them. Customer support has been superb in my experience and each time I've reached out for help, the support rep has shown me a new feature I hadn't known about.
Cons
Even though I've been using TimeSolv for three years, I still find the client invoices really hard to follow and most of our clients tell me they feel the same confusion. I end up spending a significant amount of time on the phone walking clients through their bills whenever they call because they can't make sense of the invoice layout.

“Reliable billing and standout support”
Pros
TimeSolv handles all of our time tracking and legal billing and I'm in it every day entering client expenses. One thing that's really useful is being able to pull reports on ledger entries, expense entries and similar records whenever I need them. Their customer support has also been excellent. Anytime I've called in for help, the rep not only solved the issue but also showed me a feature or function I hadn't been using before.
Cons
Even after working with TimeSolv for three years, the client invoices are still very confusing and most of our clients seem to feel the same way. I end up spending a lot of time on the phone walking clients through their invoices because they often don't understand what they're looking at.

“Easy transition with no database issues and simple”
Pros
I found it very easy to use. When we moved over from the desktop Sage TimeSlips setup, I was used to frequent database corruptions and odd errors but we didn't run into any of those problems during the transition which felt really smooth. Billing is simple, it's priced per timekeeper and there aren't extra fees for administrative staff who look up information or log time on behalf of billable professionals. We can add or remove timekeepers whenever necessary and our invoice gets updated automatically on the next month's charge. There's no proration applied for partial months.
Cons
I have to create reports through the web and then save them as PDF downloads. The report-building tools themselves are thoughtfully designed but actually reading and analyzing those reports is awkward and needs work. To be honest, I'm disappointed there's no fully online reporting interface, today that kind of live reporting is pretty much expected in this product category.

“Hassle-free switch”
Pros
Moving from the desktop version of Sage TimeSlips to TimeSolv was a welcome change. With TimeSlips, I had gotten used to constant database corruption issues and random errors so I expected at least a few problems during the transition. That never happened. The switch was very simple and the system has been simple to work with from the start. Billing is clear and uncomplicated and the pricing model makes sense since it charges per timekeeper without adding fees for admin staff who need to search the database or enter time for billed professionals. It's also convenient that you can add or remove timekeepers whenever needed and the billing updates automatically on the next monthly invoice. There's no prorating for partial months either.
Cons
One area that still feels lacking is reporting. Reports have to be created online and then downloaded as PDF files which makes the review process less convenient than it should be. The underlying report-generation tools seem thoughtfully designed but the actual experience of reading and working with those reports could be much better. Honestly the limited online reporting has been disappointing especially since that's pretty much a standard expectation for this kind of software.

“They offer a 30-day free trial!”
Pros
For starters, I really like that it offers a generous 30-day free trial, it gives me plenty of time to determine if it fits our workflow. Beyond that, the interface is simple and quick to use so interacting with it is consistently pleasant.
Cons
There aren't many problems I can point to. Occasionally I notice delays when updates are pushed online but in my experience this is a very minor annoyance and something I run into only rarely.

“excellent trial and pleasant workflow”
Pros
Right from the start, TimeSolv gives you a fantastic 30-day free trial which is more than enough time to figure out whether it fits the way your business operates. On top of that, the software is very simple and quick to use so working in it is consistently a pleasant experience.
Cons
There really aren't many downsides that come to mind. Every now and then, there can be a slight delay when updates are pulled online but it's a very minor inconvenience and not something we run into often.
