“Great for multi-currency invoicing

I am really pleased that I can generate invoices in multiple currencies and I also find the automatic payment recording to be fantastic.

Cons

At the moment, I cannot think of any necessary feature that's missing from this software.

Pros

I have been able to effortlessly monitor and handle all of our organization's expenses with Wave Accounting. I appreciate how easy it makes tracking cash flow across the business. Creating and sending invoices is really easy with this tool and it's very affordable so companies of virtually any size can fit it into their budget.

Cons

Honestly I find Wave Accounting to be fast, secure and uncomplicated, covering all of my bookkeeping requirements and I honestly cannot think of any shortcomings worth mentioning.

Pros

I appreciate that it's free and handles my small business bookkeeping, invoicing and expense tracking. Of course, it lacks some features you'd expect from paid options. I wish it could sync across the multiple locations where I sell, that integration would be really helpful.

Cons

Sometimes I get a bit lost trying to find the exact info I need, pulling up certain reports requires some trial and error before I finally get what I am looking for.

Pros

I only use it for invoicing and it's incredibly simple to navigate. The invoices themselves can be customized which gives them a nice personal touch and the paid plan unlocks even more choices so I can take advantage of additional features. I also appreciate that the app can automatically log me out at the end of the day which adds a helpful layer of security.

Cons

Every so often I notice that the new invoices act strangely, as if they have bugs that relate back to the old invoices, I cannot figure out why this keeps happening and I really think the developers should prioritize fixing it so the workflow isn't interrupted.

Pros

I appreciate being able to access my account from anywhere at any time as long as I have a web connection which gives me real freedom and flexibility in managing things on the go.

Cons

At this stage, I haven't identified any real drawbacks. I feel that my easy tasks within the software are easy enough for developers to handle and above all I am impressed that the team responsible knows how to maintain, update and evolve the program which I find truly excellent and reassuring.

Pros

Everything about Wave Apps is easy to navigate. As a solo operator running my business, keeping billing orderly is essential. Wave Apps really makes it incredibly easy to create invoices for clients, accept payments and move those funds directly and safely into my bank account.

Cons

Those instant deposit fees feel somewhat steep to me. However given the quick turnaround and convenience, I can see why it's worth it.

I find Wave Accounting gives a full, transparent view of our businesss financial health. It speeds up payments, smooths workflows and lets us keep bookkeeping in-house.

Cons

Overall it's a great tool but I wish they would expand the free features further.

it didn't take a lot of time or effort to learn how to use the app so I was up and running quickly.

I am a little annoyed by the fees they tack onto credit card transactions and having to wait three to four business days on top of that before the funds clear really bothers me.

It's easy to use but I am still waiting for my funds to be deposited into my bank account after three and a half months. I have been trying repeatedly to get them to move the money into my banking account.

I am not getting the money deposited into my account.

I rely on this app to bring all of my accounts together in a single spot so I can reconcile my receipts.

it stopped automatically loading one of my banks so I have to import that account manually now which is a major drawback.

When I first encountered it, I was genuinely thrilled, as time passed though, I found myself regretting the decision I made.

I see it as yet another corporate performance designed to trick unsuspecting users like me into losing money through sneaky policy changes and constant edits, it's the same tired tactic repackaged and I cannot stand it.

Using it, I find the interface easy and creating invoices and processing payments feels almost effortless.

Cons

I haven't encountered any issues so far, everything has been easy, user-friendly and worked well.

That said I struggle with the ad hoc reporting, it's weak and makes it hard for me to build customer-specific reports.

About a year or two ago, the company contacted me to say the 'service' would no longer be offered in the EU and they suggested an alternative yet I continue to use the software in its original form.

I found it free and really easy to handle basic invoice tasks. It suits anyone who is just getting started or who only requires a no-frills billing tool and doesn't want to pay for a more feature-rich solution.

In my experience I found the free options quite limited and many weren't really applicable or ideal for the South African market. The paid plans felt too expensive at the time and I didn't think they were suitable for South African needs.

I first came across this software back in the early days, when options for small businesses and startups to manage their accounting were scarce. They offered an India-specific edition at the time and over the years they've expanded to include features like payroll and more. I found the interface easy and the free tier was perfectly adequate for businesses just getting started.

Cons

It took them a while to roll out localization and internationalization which meant I didn't have support for other countries right away.

I am able to handle every financial task my business requires through Wave without fuss. Sure, they take a small slice from each transaction to earn revenue but plenty of other programs do the same and then also charge a monthly fee to use their platform something Wave doesn't make me pay for at all!

Cons

I'd really appreciate having saved templates for receipts and for emailing invoices to customers but in the meantime I keep the wording I need in Google Docs and then copy and paste it or I end up typing the same information each time I send something to a client. It's not a huge issue yet it would be much more convenient to pick from specific saved templates depending on the type of email I need to send for example invoices.
