“loved its clean interface”
Pros
I have the freedom to creatively manipulate our data to explore insights. The interface looks clean from my perspective. I enjoyed live trainings with outstanding instructors.
Cons
We encounter restrictions in available data sources which makes it difficult to retrieve the exact information we need for reports. There are also constraints on personalizing charts and graphs inside reports. It isn't ideal for HR analytics.

“Solids suppot”
Pros
Having the ATS built directly into the HRIS is really handy. The two systems communicate with each other without too much friction which is great for keeping everything HRrelated in one place for employees. Since external applicants apply through it to begin with, an initial profile is created and then carries over through hiring and onboarding so there's less duplication along the way.
Cons
Workday's ATS feels like it was added onto the HRIS later rather than designed from the ground up. As a result, it doesn't match the adaptiveness, depth or feature set you'd expect from leading standalone ATS tools. You often end up adjusting workflows to fit what it supports which can make things less efficient than they could be. Getting detailed reporting and metrics.. especially at a micro level, can be extremely difficult or even impossible depending on what you're trying to measure and the data visualization is behind other ATS platforms. Referral tracking also leaves a lot to be desired, it tends to add extra steps and makes it harder to manage and track referrals so our team uses a separate program just for that.

“Great for leaves, attendance, payslips, and goals”
Pros
At my company I use Workday to record leaves, track attendance and view a full-year calendar so I can plan ahead. we can also access our payslips there which other tools don't provide. It additionally supports skill development goals that I need to complete each month for easier planning and HR record keeping
Cons
Overall I don't have many complaints about Workday since it accomplishes its intended purpose but I'd appreciate a refreshed interface because it comes across as an outdated tool with overly minimal options and could use a refresh

“One spot handles all requests”
Pros
I really appreciate how simple it is to handle everything in one spot. Being able to request time off, review my paycheck and submit any other daily employee requests all from the same place makes life easier. Compared to systems I have used at other companies, Workday is my favorite by far.
Cons
My biggest issue with Workday is that updating certain information can be tricky. At times I make changes but the system doesn't register that I have finished the task which can be frustrating. Other than that issue, I think the platform works excellently.

“All-in-one app needs expense automation”
Pros
Everything is good such as benefits, pay stubs, quarterly goals and expense reports is visible in a single app. I no longer have to switch between multiple programs and there are status trackers for each item so I can quickly see where things stand.
Cons
Honestly it would help me if the app could automate some expense entries or make it easier to build templates. there's a lot of functionality packed in but I have to click through many screens to understand how everything works.

“an excellent tool!!”
Pros
Our first run was during open enrollment last year and the feedback from people who used it was that it's simple to navigate... especially compared to other systems with clunkier interfaces. I also really appreciate the accountability and visibility it brings to absence monitoring. Managers can review each team member's time off and they can see balances too. Also, our company encourages employees to take ownership of their personal information, including setting up and assigning direct deposit and managing federal and state withholding by pay type. Payroll-wise, everyone seems to have their own view but it centers mainly around salaries.
Cons
The tricky part is that you don't immediately know what you'll need to learn until you're actually using it. It took roughly four months to iron out some of the interpersonal/process issues and get everything linked together properly. There's also a learning curve around how business processes impact each separate component and some parts can feel pretty finicky. To keep things running as intended, the setup really benefits from having an in-house maintenance and troubleshooting specialist who can step in when those edge cases show up.

“excellent features with steep costs”
Pros
In my experience Workday has been an excellent solution for payroll, benefits, applicant tracking and recruiting data. Its dashboard makes it easy to see tasks, candidate feedback and scheduling at a glance. I also appreciate the strong reporting and analytics which help me monitor industry trends and measure hiring progress.
Cons
The platform is fairly complex and I faced a steep learning curve getting comfortable with it. Using the search bar to pull up candidate details requires too many extra clicks and could be simplified in the app. I have also noticed Workday tends to cost more than other ATS options.

“Unified platform needs no training”
Pros
Workday's interface is very user-friendly so employees can usually navigate and use the system without extensive training. It also gives me a single, unified platform that brings together several HR and finance functions, acting as a centralized hub for handling workforce management, payroll, benefits, talent management and other related tasks.
Cons
From my experience implementing Workday can be a fairly complex undertaking that requires considerable time and resources. I have seen organizations needing to invest in targeted training programs or hire external consultants to help with the setup and change management so they can achieve a smooth transition and make effective use of the platform.

“packed with the powerful features”
Pros
What I like most about Workday HCM are the powerful features that we can tailor to our specific requirements. At my organization we have more than a hundred work sites and certain employees pay calculations depend on where they work. Workday's compensation default functionality lets us set those rules so we don't have to enter those pay metrics manually for each location.
Cons
My biggest frustration is how US-centric the system feels. many features appear to be built around American HR practices and don't account for cultural and procedural differences in other countries. To adapt it to our local ways of working we end up investing a significant amount of time and resources into customization which is quite burdensome.

“So great”
Pros
It has been a really solid choice for handling HR tasks. At my workplace, I use it to manage payroll, purchases, expenses and all the related tax documents and it covers everything in one place. The interface feels approachable and it makes it simple to pull up the information I need for work. A standout benefit is how well it supports complex workflows and approval chains which honestly makes day to day operations run more efficiently.
Cons
For people trying it for the first time, navigation can feel a bit confusing and it's likely you'll want some training to get comfortable with all the features.

“I like it”
Pros
Leave management is handled really well, with both a calendar view and a team view. There are also plenty of different modules and at least they include several ways to navigate so you can eventually get to the exact section you're looking for. The search fields feel pretty adaptive and overall the interface stays fast and fluid.
Cons
User interface isn't always the easiest to understand and the design can come across as a bit old-school.

“Our trusted software”
Pros
This is super simple to use and on a teamwork day it really delivers the full view of what's going on. It also helps you manage whatever you need for daily operations and it supports overall employee productivity pretty well.
Cons
One thing that slows things down is that some updates don't show up right away. With better time management around when information is refreshed, the latest details could be available immediately and the system would feel more cost-effective.
