“Simplifies team management”
Pros
Over the years I have used Workday both as a people manager for several years and as an individual employee and it functions really well from both angles. As a manager it simplified overseeing my team, locating employee details quickly, posting updates, directing staff to the correct resources and managing items like time-off approvals and hiring all within one centralized system. It cut down a lot of back and forth and kept everything very neatly organized.
Cons
I do not have many negatives to mention. Since the platform has so many features some simple tasks can feel a bit complicated but I see that as the trade-off for using a powerful, all in one HCM system.

“best time-tracking and benefits tools”
Pros
The time-tracking and benefits tools are the best and I use them every single workday. The good thing is that they are quite easy to navigate and operate than before. So I'd definitely recommend them to others.
Cons
Some of the other modules do not connect as well with our internal systems as they used to which is a bit disappointing though not a major issue.

“Excellent for HR data tracking”
Pros
Workday is an excellent solution for tracking HR data, monitoring training progress, managing new hires and interview workflows and handling salary payments.
Cons
It keeps piling on notifications about unfinished tasks and I wish it would stop repeating alerts once I have already acknowledged them.

“Impressive features for learning collaboration”
Pros
I am really impressed by how many features it has for learning, applying to jobs and team collaboration. Honestly I think it is fantastic and one of the best platforms out there.
Cons
Sometimes it feels a bit slow but it's not intolerable. But I'd like a few more tools to be added.

“Powerful brings HR payroll together”
Pros
Workday is a powerful tool. It brings HR, payroll and employee records together in a single platform. Also it is dependable and secure and it copes well with complicated employee data. For larger organizations it delivers powerful reporting and keeps HR processes consistent.
Cons
It is not the best for daily use as the interface feels complex and routine tasks often take too many steps. For a solo founder or small team, it's overkill. As it is more than needed, can slow things down and is inflexible.

“simplifies time off requests”
Pros
It is really easy to request time off and clock in and out during the day. Also it is easy to view my timesheets and submit them when needed.
Cons
Honestly I am pretty happy with the program overall. So nothing major to complain about. But yes I do get tripped up sometimes when our boss blocks out certain times though.

“great since 2019”
Pros
When I first used Workday in 2019 I quickly saw how powerful it is and how easy it makes accessing and tracking my employment info. Also I really like that I can check my own and my teams leave balances, time-off plans, pay details and job history plus many other things. The search feature is a lifesaver. Whenever I am not sure where something is, I just type it in and it takes me right there.
Cons
Getting comfortable with it takes patience and a willingness to explore as it has a lot more features than you might expect at first. At first I struggled to find my way around but once I understood how the different parts connected navigating and trying out features became much easier.

“Everything needed is here”
Pros
Everything is in one place. Plus I like being able to view my payslip, update direct deposit and request time off all in the same app. The mobile app works well too for quick daily tasks.
Cons
The interface feels glitchy and I often have to click through too many steps to do simple things. Plus tasks like finding tax documents or the Learning module are buried in deep menus and the internal recruiting section seems inflexible.

“User-friendly and valuable tool”
Pros
It ran well and the interface is user friendly. I think this solution would be valuable for anyone working with workforce management software.
Cons
I cannot really point to any specific problems as overall there is not a single feature I'd call bad. No product works for everyone but I genuinely think this one is good.

“One of a kind integrated suite”
Pros
Workday feels like a one of a kind software suite unlike anything I have used before. It acts as a single, integrated platform that consolidates numerous business needs. Everything from internal opportunities and position listings to employee referral tracking and other company data.
Cons
Well I find it overloaded with features maybe too much. And sometimes the site or app feels overwhelming and navigating through all the content can be confusing and slow me down.

“User-friendly with problems addressed”
Pros
It is user friendly and easy to use. Also it includes everything I need for HR processes and related software functions and although I ran into a few problems, they were ultimately addressed and fixed.
Cons
At times I feel other platforms provide a better user experience. As the backend configuration was a bit challenging initially though it became much more manageable after I worked through the setup.

“Hands down HR go-to choice”
Pros
The standout thing about Workday is how user friendly and easy it is to navigate. It really simplifies handling time off and leave as everything is automated so requesting days off and seeing my remaining balance is not a problem anymore. I also find it suitable for updating personal info and checking contract details. Overall using it feels hassle-free and efficient and it genuinely improves the day to day employee experience at my organization. Overall it is hands down my go-to for anything HR-related.
Cons
I honestly cannot find anything I dislike about it. As it provides all the features we need and feels worth the cost. In my experience it delivers real value for the price and covers everything our team relies on.

“Awkward interface needs redesign”
Pros
This tool can be a bit tricky to use day to day but I can see why large companies would choose it as it's built for enterprise-level needs.
Cons
The workflow seems unmanageable to me and the pages along with assessments and task screens are hard to read and awkward to use. So I'd strongly suggest making the interface much more user friendly.

Pros
I really like how user friendly the platform is. Plus having all tools consolidated in one place makes my workflow incredibly simple. Overall it is a single system that handles everything I need!
Cons
Overall there is not much I dislike. But if I had to pick one thing the mobile app seems a bit more polished and smooth compared to the desktop version.

“Resume parsing speeds recruiting workflow”
Pros
Workday automatically pulls candidate info from uploaded resumes so I spend less time on manual data entry and the recruiting workflow moves along much quicker.
Cons
Honestly it forces me to set up a separate account for each firm which is annoying. I just wish there were a shared space or common data pool so I didn't have to re-enter information every time.
