“so good”
Pros
Love how this platform gives me everything in a clean, compact format so I can find what I need fast without digging around. Booking holidays or checking different reports takes only a few clicks, just open the platform and go. The cloud automation optimizations also make the whole experience feel quick and simple.
Cons
Nothing about this product that I dislike.

“Centralized portal makes information accessible”
Pros
It brings together payroll, expense tracking and performance reviews into one centralized portal which makes finding and accessing information pretty easy.
Cons
That said, I have noticed the interface particularly when submitting expenses gets glitchy sometimes though aside from that I find the rest of the system works really well.

“supports reliable reporting”
Pros
Being able to open each requisition, see exactly where candidates stand in the application pipeline and move applicants forward with clear communication and detailed notes is really helpful.
Cons
It can feel a bit sluggish at times. The talent search tools could use improvement though they still get the job done.

“Modular components with strong compliance”
Pros
I have been using Workday as a cloud-based software-as-a-platform and I find its HCM model covers a broad spectrum of HR needs, with the ability to buy modular components that can be tailored to our organization. At my company we rely on modules for onboarding, talent and performance, benefits management, learning, absence tracking, expense management, time tracking and basic compensation administration. It also gives me built-in reporting and integration capabilities, plus a strong security architecture that helps our organization stay compliant with ISO soX, GDPR and various internal audit requirements.
Cons
While Workday delivers a lot of HR functionality, I still run into areas that need improvement or simply aren't supported. When that happens I usually have to contact Workday Support and end up being told to submit a brainstorm idea on the Workday Community site. Those brainstorms typically need upvotes from other users before they'll even be considered for development and in my experience some of those requests take years to move forward. The product is also limited when it comes to user interface customization. They did introduce Workday Extend so you can build custom workflows or pages but in practice the options are very constrained and don't meet all of our needs.

“In depth information with quick search”
Pros
For me the most valuable thing about Workday is that all of the information is centralized and I can quickly look up what I need using the built-in search engine.
Cons
It is not exactly hard to use overall but it was tough to learn at first especially when I had to undo or roll back changes I'd already made.

“excellent tracking”
Pros
So simple to use and I can quickly see what's going on across my organization. Payroll status is easy to follow and the system also makes it simple to find new job openings across the entire company, regardless of which country I'm looking at. I get details like the prerequisites for each role and the benefits tied to the position. Also, I can spot new trainings and complete surveys that help improve how our organization runs.
Cons
Occasionally, when browsing the Organization tab some tiles that show agents and their leadership can look glitchy. A quick screen refresh fixes it though overall the experience has been really positive.

“Outstanding efficiency but too many steps”

“Had a nice experience”
Pros
This is delivered as a SaaS solution which fit our requirements well. It also took a lot of the day to day management workload off our internal IT team so they could put time toward other business priorities.
Cons
Nearly every small improvement or extra capability seems to come with an additional add-on cost. The feature set is usable but you have to hunt around for the right reports and processes instead of choosing everything from a clear main menu. That workflow doesn't feel very user friendly.

“strong employee tracking”
Pros
It comes packed with useful features for employees across the whole organization.. everything from logging and tracking time to handling benefits such as leave. It also makes it simple to monitor pay and see deductions for things like insurance and taxes.
Cons
An area that felt missing was stronger training support within the platform, if that were improved, it would cover nearly every part of the employee experience.

“so much to like about it”
Pros
I have liked the goal-setting tools and the ability to submit feedback to senior staff, plus the onboarding process and the leave request functionality.
Cons
A lot of fonts aren't available when I am writing notes or giving feedback and several essential text-editing tools are missing in Workday.

“Practical dashboard with group permissions”
Pros
Overall the software is good as the dashboard and user interface are highly practical and easy to use. I am able to grant access to my staff and create separate user groups with distinct editing permissions for each.
Cons
One downside I have noticed is that overtime is only assessed based on the month when it's worked which means, unfortunately, payouts are always postponed by one month.

“Learn it in one week”
Pros
I have been using Workday for about four years now and I picked it up in roughly a week that's how simple it felt. In my experience it's ideal for mid-sized to large organizations because it lets you build reports and analyze data effectively. It's useful for everyone across the company, whether a regular employee, a manager or HR staff which was the role I held.
Cons
It would have helped to have a clear catalog of every report I can run in Workday. Maybe such a list exists but I never had access to it where I worked which made finding the right reports harder than it needed to be.

“needs modern technology upgrades”
Pros
it's a one-stop, all-in-one HRMS solution that covers everything I need.
Cons
I find it a bit clunky and not particularly user-friendly. the UX could definitely use improvement. There are plenty of newer tools on the market that bring more modern technologies and built-in analytics.

“Awesome”
Pros
I used this software while working at Concentrix. It was mainly used for tracking my schedule and accessing my paystubs and that part was something I really appreciated. Another helpful benefit was being able to browse other job openings across the company. I also liked that it gave me access to additional training opportunities through it.
Cons
Occasionally it was tough to log in. I ran into a few situations where the system was down and I had to wait a day or two before everything was back up.

“Market leader comes with a learning curve”
Pros
Workday HCM is the current market leader as most companies already use it and as an HR professional, I find it helpful in many ways. You can send tasks to multiple people and groups at once which saves a lot of manual work. Setting up business processes is easy too. I mean even someone with little experience can do it by dragging and dropping tasks into place. It is also simple to manage employee profiles and see how they connect within the team and company structure. Anyone can open a profile and trace the links to managers and leadership which makes understanding relationships much easier. The interface is clean and colorful. It can be a bit slow sometimes but it's usually stable which I appreciate. I also like that notifications are linked to email as it helps me remember outstanding tasks.
Cons
One thing I don't like is the learning curve that comes with Workday. in my experience it adds complexity and makes the application feel quite difficult to use compared with other systems.

“smart autofil saves the day”
Pros
Anyone who's gone through recruiting knows how draining the application process can be. Even when candidates are clearly qualified-skilled, knowledgeable, experienced and making it through the final stages of interviews somehow the offer doesn't always go to them and then applicants get forced back to the beginning with another application. That said, this system helps a lot because it automatically carries over details from your resume and it's smart enough to fill the entry fields accurately which cuts down a ton of the repetitive work.
Cons
Already very accurate but it would be even better if it also imported skills, languages and certifications from the resume. It is the one I'd compare it to most and I'd like to see this platform do the same. Also, the marketing feels light, if it became a more widely known, household, name tool, more companies would likely use it for recruiting and hiring.

“Real-time balances for all leave”
Pros
I am really happy with the features. Like having one clear place to record unpaid, paid, paternity and special time off and instantly check my remaining balance is fantastic. I also find it extremely useful that the balances update in real time and show up live.
Cons
As per me I find navigating the portal and switching between tabs a bit unmanageable. Also I wish the design were smoother more like Apple's so the user experience felt cleaner and more user friendly.

“Configurable with pending payroll visibility”
Pros
its controls are surprisingly easy to use when handling my everyday tasks. the system manages processes that require tracking and accounting for the upkeep of human capital and that has been very helpful across many organizations. My employees and other staff reliably receive the commissions they earn for the work they regularly do and one feature I particularly value is the visibility into pending payroll reports and the exact amounts that need to be disbursed. This level of support is a big help for many companies. Also I appreciate that the software is configurable across most of its functions because we can tailor it so long as customizations adhere to our requirements and framework properly.
Cons
One improvement I'd like to see is a more visually driven interface, with stronger illustrations and a more decorated home page that uses striking, consistent content to showcase operational processes within the platform. It would also help if the product included clearer learning curves or guided training so I could become skilled at using the app because several of its features feel fairly complex for newcomers and can be intimidating without structured onboarding.
