Xero is a great out of the box basic system

Pros

With minimal training, it's simple to use. I can provide business owners with logins to view reports, and it's very cost-effective.

Cons

Setting up custom reporting is a nightmare, and using it is equally bad. Linking to Excel is not simple, and the multi-currency feature is almost unusable.

In our large organization, acquiring multiple businesses allowed me to explore Xero. It excels with unique features like: 1 - Storing and uploading files via email, which isn't common in other software. 2 - Quickly preparing and lodging BAS reports in Australia directly to the ATO, saving a lot of time. 3 - Customizing most reports, aiding in migration to or from other software.

Cons

They should cater to larger organizations by including Fixed Asset Registers and enhancing synchronization with third-party plugins or software.

Pros

Xero has significantly cut down our admin time by automating and streamlining time-consuming daily tasks. We like the ease of connecting and reconciling accounts, processing payroll, onboarding new staff, and managing credit card payments for improved cash flow.

Cons

There's nothing I dislike about Xero. I'm just eager for more features and better integration with external software to enhance automation.
