Pros
Bank reconciliation is quick and saves me a lot of time. Working together with my accountant each month is also very easy and transparent.
Cons
The entry level plan restricts the number of invoices you can send. On top of that the lack of a direct phone support line can be pretty frustrating.

Pros
It offers really good value for money and is easy to use. On top of that the customer support team has been helpful whenever needed and the wait time on the phone hasn't been long.
Cons
I honestly haven't run into any issues so I cannot really point out any drawbacks at this stage. Everything has been going well for me.

Pros
Right from the dashboard everything seems easy to use. The reporting tools do the job really well and I haven't run into any bugs or technical problems. Recording transactions is simple and staying on top of bank activity is quick and hassle-free.
Cons
One of the biggest downside is the value for money since it doesn't compare especially well with competing products. Telephone support also isn't available which can be frustrating. From a partner perspective, the commission options are fairly limited and payments are collected through direct debit.

Pros
The layout is clear so I am not wasting time working out where everything is and I can quickly get a view of how the business is performing financially. The bank feeds and automatic transaction matching save a lot of time and reduce manual input. I also appreciate that it's cloud-based which makes it convenient to check the accounts while away from the office and share access with my accountant without any trouble.
Cons
The part I am least keen on is the cost because once you're actively using this tool it can start to feel a bit expensive especially if you need additional apps. A few features also lack the flexibility you'd expect which gets frustrating when you're just trying to pull a simple answer from a report. Bank feeds generally run well but when they stop syncing sorting it out can be a real nuisance.

Using this tool has been easy and the bill email forwarding feature is something I really appreciate. It helps keep everything quick and simple to manage.
Cons
At this point I don't really have any complaints about it. If there's one thing that could be better, it would be the receipt snap feature.

Keeping finances organized with Xero has been a real plus. It makes invoicing, expense tracking and report generation much more manageable which saves me time and helps me stay on top of everything.
Cons
Honestly I do not have much to complain about with it. It is easy to use and handles my finance management needs really well.

Pros
Xero keeps improving the platform with frequent updates which is something I really like. The integrations work extremely well too. Syft for example has been fantastic. The graphs and charts are another highlight because they make it much easier to understand my numbers by showing everything in a clear visual way.
Cons
One small thing that could be improved is attaching documents while posting transactions since it takes an extra click. It's only a minor inconvenience though and not a major issue.

Pros
Running a real-estate business means having reliable accounting tools is a must. I mostly stick with Xero because its iOS mobile app lets me handle and manage my accounting tasks online no matter where I am.
Cons
That said a few of its built-in features still don't feel powerful enough so I end up relying on external apps for certain needs, such as inventory management.

For running a small manufacturing business that sells globally, Xero has turned out to be an excellent match for what we need. It also integrates well with our multi-currency bank accounts and with our MRP system. VAT reporting is especially helpful making the process of submitting returns very easy. Also the software is simple to work with and everyone on our team is comfortable using it. On the whole, it delivers a strong range of features at a very reasonable price.
Cons
The only issue I would have mentioned was that the financial data visualization tools felt a bit limited before but the newer analytics features seem to have taken care of that.

One thing I really like about Xero is the 30-day trial which gives enough time to explore all the features and understand how they work for accounting tasks. It also lets you export reports for both sales and expenses which is very useful.
Cons
It has been excellent for me and I honestly haven't faced any challenges since I started using it. I would definitely recommend it.

Processing invoices is very easy and it's fast to work through them. Calculating VAT at the end of each month for our accounts is also simple and efficient.
Cons
At times the OCR scanner doesn't capture the full invoice so some details have to be pulled out manually and entered by hand.

Honestly Xero has gone well beyond anything I expected from an affordable accounting platform. The interface is very simple to work with and their customer support being available late is a huge plus. One night I sent in a ticket pretty late and they actually called me back within 10 minutes. The reporting tools are fantastic and I especially enjoy reviewing our profit and loss statements.
Cons
Getting used to the conversion balance was a bit tricky at first but I called support and they guided me through the whole process.

Managing my finances with Xero has been a lot easier now. Sending invoices is simple, reconciling transactions is quick and I can pull reports without needing any real finance background. It also works well with my accountant, who can log in easily and take care of my taxes.
Cons
The only downside is the cost. I don't use it heavily so paying that much every month for the platform feels a bit expensive for a lighter user.

Pros
Excellent value for money. It works really well across multiple companies which makes financial control a lot more manageable. The system is very user friendly overall and it's simple to give tax agents access so collaboration is easy too.
Cons
One limitation is that BAS cannot be amended retrospectively. If adjustments are made in the ATO portal, they usually cannot be mirrored in it which means you have to rely on workarounds.

The sales tax summary works well and is easy to use when figuring out monthly sales tax and separating non-taxable items.
Cons
Overall the software is very complex. It isn't easy to use or import from and there's a pretty steep learning curve if you're switching over from almost any other product.

Using it has been easy from the start. It's a modern, cloud-based platform that feels fresh and dynamic and the online support has been helpful whenever needed. Connecting data and integrating apps with other platforms through the API is also very simple.
Cons
The supplier area and the Pay Bills section aren't quite as polished or clean as MYOB. That said, it feels like something the developers could definitely continue improving over time.

Running a volunteer-led car club with Xero has worked really well for us. The two features that matter most are unlimited users and bank reconciliation. Having unlimited users is absolutely essential because we can give committee members their own access instead of sharing logins or creating security concerns. The automated bank feeds and reconciliation tools also make a huge difference when it comes to matching hundreds of yearly membership renewals.
Cons
For a volunteer-run club, the biggest downside is the way customer support is set up. It does not provide a dedicated phone support line.

The branding is visually appealing, with a nice logo color, clear website typography and design choices that make it obvious the company invested in professional visual design.
Cons
The value just isn't there especially when there are free apps that can handle the same tasks for anyone with even a basic level of organization. On top of that their credit card payment offering is one of the worst I have seen.
