Pros
Xero is pretty easy to use since it's cloud-based and simple to use. The 30 day free trial is a nice bonus and it handles account management and inventory well.
Cons
The pricing is a little higher compared to other similar software and there are still a few features missing at the moment.

Pros
One thing I really like is how user friendly it is. The features are laid out in a way that makes them simple to locate, use and understand. It's the kind of system that people at almost any skill level can pick up without much trouble.
Cons
A few parts of the interface could use a visual refresh since some areas look a bit dated. It doesn't affect how the software works so it's not a major issue but it would still be a nice improvement.

Right from the beginning when it was just me, the system felt user friendly and easy to manage. As the business has expanded I have been able to use more of its features as well. My bookkeeper has even trained my admin staff on it and they've found it user friendly too. I'd definitely recommend it.
Cons
Every now and then I still need my bookkeeper's help when I am learning something new. However overall I am very happy with the product.

Keeping bills organized is much simpler because I can check outstanding invoices with just one click and catch payment issues or mistakes before they become a problem. Bank reconciliation is also very quick which helps me stay on top of every transaction without wasting time. Creating invoices is fast and easy too and I can customize them however I want before sending them by email or even through messaging apps. Another big plus is being able to send invoices to clients instantly without re-entering the same information which saves time and helps me handle more customers efficiently.

It is a user friendly cloud accounting platform built for small businesses. It's used by more than two million customers and integrates with over 800 third-party apps as well as more than 200 banks worldwide. It makes it possible to manage operations confidently from anywhere and at any time.

Pros
Project tracking is well done, the cybersecurity feels very advanced and the online support is exceptional.
Cons
Processing transactions can be time-consuming and there's a high chance of mistakes. On top of that phone and chat support being unavailable makes getting help more difficult.

Using Xero has been really convenient because I can download the Microsoft Excel templates, enter the data and upload everything to quickly create different accounts, build codes and automate a few tasks.
Cons

Hubdoc has been a pleasure to use for loading invoices, processing them and then paying them. The whole workflow seems very simple and easy to manage.
Cons
One issue comes up when I need to split an invoice across three different farms for payment. If the GST rounding is even slightly off, the invoice won't go through.

Keeping on top of everything with Xero is really easy. The daily reconciliation helps keep the books current at all times and creating as well as sending invoices is simple and effective. Having an accountant who is a Xero Ambassador has also been a big advantage.
Cons
Custom documents and fitting the system into a transport business can be challenging. I made several attempts to create a delivery note that suited my needs but I couldn't get one that worked properly.

Pros
The platform is very user friendly and easy to work with. Connecting it to online banking, managing payroll and generating accounting reports are all handled in a really simple way which makes day to day tasks much easier.
Cons
One frustrating limitation is that payroll cannot be processed until your HMRC information is added. We ended up unable to run payroll for two months while waiting for the HMRC account details. It would be much better if there were a way to process payroll while those details are still pending especially since HMRC does allow that.

Visually Xero seems far more modern than most accounting platforms. Day to day it's generally easy to use and it covers the core essentials really well, like invoicing, billing and similar accounting tasks. Setting up online payments was simple, creating custom document templates was a big plus and it also integrates nicely with our ERP, Unleashed.
Cons
Once you move beyond the areas it is built for, the limitations become pretty obvious and there's not much guidance available. We didn't fully realize at the time of purchase that it's really geared toward very small or very simple businesses. A good example is our workflow where some customers want invoices sent to one email address and statements sent to another but it only allows a single email per customer which probably explains why they use the term Contacts. When problems like that come up, there's basically no response from them in the forums even though plenty of users have raised the same issue and added comments.

Using Xero has been a really positive experience. It has simplified the way I work and saved me a huge amount of time and effort which means I am no longer stuck spending long hours in the office. That's even had a positive effect on my health. In my opinion, this is software everyone should be using.
Cons
Even though the bank reconciliation is automated, we ran into problems that caused the bank feeds to stop working. Because of that, the company had to import bank statements manually and that took time and often needed several attempts. The inventory management side also needs improvement. On top of that customer support isn't perfect. For users with very little accounting knowledge, it's also not especially user friendly.
