“powerful dashboards for team insights”
Pros
This does an excellent job of turning complex data into clear visuals and making it easier to share information across internal teams. Building dashboards isn't overly complicated and the drill down features are especially useful for exploring details.
Cons
Data and dashboard refreshes can sometimes take quite a while to complete.

“clear visuals”
Pros
When it comes to analytics, insights only matter if people can actually understand them and that's where this really delivers. The data visualization tools are clear and user friendly so it's much easier to read and make sense of business insights. Creating reports is also pretty easy and we regularly use them to show how the business is performing and to identify areas that need improvement. On top of that the analysis tools include AI features and drag and drop function which makes the platform approachable and simple for just about anyone to use.
Cons
I honestly have no complaints. It has been very simple to use and its features respond really well.

“Microsoft integration that delivers”
Pros
The interface feels familiar and user friendly especially if you already work within the Microsoft ecosystem. At least for the way I use it, the integration with other MS applications is almost flawless.
Cons
At times though, building a view or query across multiple tables isn't very easy.

“useful cross platform insights”
Pros
Its effortless to pull data from the different platforms we use, uncover useful insights and turn everything into visuals that are much clearer to read and understand, such as graphs. It doesn't take a coding expert to get started with it either because the whole setup feels very easy and doesn't come with the usual complexity of writing lines of code.
Cons
It has consistently shown its strength in data analytics for us and up to this point, it hasn't given us any reason to question its capabilities.

“Flexible reporting with effortless SAP integration”
Pros
One of the best parts is how flexible the reporting is. It also connects smoothly with SAP which is our ERP system and that makes the whole process work really well.
Cons
Only downside is that there's no option to make the actual reports appear larger on my screen.

“Easy to use Excel style interface”
Pros
Coming from years of working in Excel, using this felt very natural. A lot of the interface uses familiar Excel-like elements so I was already comfortable with the visual layout and it made the initial learning curve much easier for me.
Cons
This is not a major problem but having a live support option like some other BI tools offer would make my work a lot easier.

“strong controls”
Pros
Its a very interesting and versatile tool. It lets you build powerful dashboards quickly for day to day use, create relational databases visually and improve how you monitor and control your business. It also offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to customizing charts, adjusting the visual side and setting up filters.
Cons
At first, the tool seems very user friendly but there is definitely a learning curve that needs to be considered when you start building reports. The user experience could also better.

“easy to use”
Pros
Creating visuals feels very effortless and it doesn't take long to get comfortable with the tool even if you're using it for the first time. The navigation is also simple which makes moving around and building reports much more manageable.
Cons
Something that could use improvement is the drill down feature since it feels more complicated than it should be. It would also really help to have a more visible export button because the current export option hidden under the three-dot menu is too difficult to notice.

Pros
One of the biggest strengths is the range of features and options it offers. It feels like a very complete piece of software for data visualization and gives you plenty of tools to work with.
Cons

Pros
A really solid tool for presenting all your data in a clear way and sharing useful information with customers. It's also simple to work with which makes getting started pretty effortless.
Cons

“A great budget friendly option”
Pros
Getting this level of power and completeness at such a low price makes Power BI incredibly hard to compete with. If you've already worked with Microsoft Power Query in Excel, moving into Power BI feels like the natural next step for taking reporting and business intelligence further. It also fits into the Microsoft Office ecosystem really well and pulling in data from external sources is very simple.
Cons
Performance can feel a little slow or frustrating if your machine is not particularly powerful although once dashboards are deployed that problem is mostly limited to the development side. The other challenge I've run into is rolling it out in a non Microsoft environment. There are tools available to make that work but it does create extra overhead that you need to factor in when assessing the platform. Even with that added effort, we still prefer this over other options built for our non Microsoft setup which says a lot.

“useful insights across teams”
Pros
Across the whole company, this lets us carry out complete analysis of the business and keeps us informed about how each team and department is performing. The reports are clear and simple to follow and the visualization features especially graphs, make it much easier to spot useful insights quickly. It also comes with well-structured and flexible security controls which help protect all of our business data and ensure only authorized people can access sensitive information.
Cons

“Accurate reporting”
Pros
Power BI gives us a really strong set of analytical tools making it possible to carry out a complete analysis of the business and understand how we're performing versus where we want to be. The reports are clear, readable and simple to interpret, while still delivering very accurate insights into the business. It also helps us pull data from across all of our working systems which gives us a full picture of our overall operations.
Cons

“Love the reporting feature”
Pros
Working with this software feels very approachable especially when it comes to turning complex reports into something more meaningful, readable and easier to understand. The free version is also a big advantage because it gives users enough space to explore the platform properly before deciding whether a paid subscription makes sense based on their needs and budget. That is especially valuable for students, people without current income or anyone taking a break from work.
Cons
Getting started with it can still be quite demanding for someone who is completely new to business intelligence and it takes a fair amount of effort and time to really learn how to use it well.
