“Meant for building comprehensive dashboards”
Pros
Dashboard creation is a strong point and a single dashboard can include multiple kinds of reports built from the same pivoted dataset.
Cons
Integrating data through APIs can be tricky at times and when errors happen, they are not always easy to identify.

“Excel integration is amazing”
Pros
I like how well it connects with Microsoft Excel. Being able to bring an entire dynamic table into a Power BI dashboard is incredibly valuable and that alone makes it a very useful tool. That Excel integration is definitely the strongest part of the software and one of the reasons it stands out so much.
Cons
One area that could definitely be better is the support around coding features especially when working with functions and making DAX changes. A built in helper or assistant would make a big difference because right now you often have to rely on forums and teach yourself the language without much guidance.

“visual analytics for better decisions”
Pros
It's a tool that makes data analysis very simple and visual. It's really useful for giving visibility to information and helping make decisions based on data.
Cons
It can be a bit confusing to use the first few times so it does need some explanation on how it works.

“reliable data presentation tools”
Pros
Getting comfortable with this platform doesn't take long. It's easy to understand and comes with a wide range of features that help present and showcase data really well.
Cons
I haven't run into any real downsides and if anything, it feels like there's still a lot of potential to keep learning and exploring within the platform.

“excellent visualization capabilitie”
Pros
Delivers top tier data visualization and we've used it to create multiple executive dashboards. Being part of the Microsoft ecosystem, it connects well with Excel and Access. Another big plus is the mobile app which makes it convenient to view visualizations on the go from most major app stores.
Cons
To get the most powerful dashboards, you really need a proper database feeding the data stream. Although it does connect to Excel, working with it that way can feel a bit complicated. It's also more helpful when the user has some SQL knowledge.

“Not completely reliable”
Pros
Power BI connects with a wide range of tools, whether it's importing data from SQL or working with Excel based inputs like bar charts and flowcharts. It opens up a lot of impressive charting options and makes analytical reporting much more visual which is especially helpful for telling strong stories through data. Since I run a business with a mostly non technical workforce, we rely on BI throughout the day as our main tool for building insightful and visually appealing dashboards. As a basic platform, it's definitely something I would recommend to anyone getting started in data science.
Cons
The real time data visualization doesn't feel fully reliable in practice. There are moments when it misses some data and fails to display everything correctly. We use the product regularly but I also see that other software in the market offers similar capabilities with less complexity. Customer support is available within the tool but the overall experience still leaves room for improvement.

“Accurate insights”
Pros
It has completely changed the way I work. Its ability to turn complex data into impactful visualizations is truly impressive. On top of that the integration with different data sources and the user friendly experience have helped me make better-informed decisions much more efficiently. I'm really pleased with it because my overall performance has improved a lot thanks to Power BI.
Cons
Would be really useful if it included more prebuilt report templates to speed up the creation of reports and dashboards.

“strong data driven visuals for teams”
Pros
Once it's properly set up, it delivers very strong data visualizations. You can build useful visuals and share them easily across your teams which makes collaboration much simpler.
Cons
It takes quite a bit of time to learn especially because there's a critical lack of guidance. It also needs significant computing resources to run without crashing since data sniffing is very heavy and the software is quite resource-hungry.

Pros
Being able to use the free version has been a big plus for me and I really appreciate that it also supports importing scripts such as Python and JavaScript.
Cons

“Helpful features”
Pros
Power BI really stands out for its excellent data connectivity and user friendly interface. I also appreciate its strong data modeling features and DAX adds a lot of value when doing deeper analysis.
Cons
One thing that could be better is dashboard access since it feels too restricted to users within the organization. It would also help to have more formatting options, along with a simpler way to handle custom formatting.

Pros
It is a very powerful tool that can be used for almost any purpose. It connects with a wide range of interfaces which makes it possible to pull data from many sources and turn it into meaningful analyses.
Cons

“Amazing collaboration capabilities”
Pros
Sharing reports and dashboards with teammates and stakeholders is really easy which makes collaboration much better since everyone can view and work with the same data. The dashboards are also highly interactive, letting users drill into details, use filters and explore different parts of the dataset. That kind of interactivity makes data analysis and exploration much more effective.
Cons
A few limitations worth noting are the data refresh restrictions, limited offline access and the fact that advanced analytics features usually require more expertise. Power BI depends a lot on internet connectivity for pulling data and sharing it so the lack of strong offline access can be an issue in some situations.
