“quick professional dashboards”
Pros
Does an excellent job of turning data into professional-looking visualizations and reports. It's a really strong tool for presenting information in a polished and effective way.
Cons
Can be challenging to use without a certain level of expertise so it takes more skill and knowledge to work with it comfortably.

“easy Excel integration”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is the plugin integration. Its flexibility in supporting other applications is hard to beat and I was able to connect it with Excel without any trouble.
Cons
A downside is the internet dependency. It's pretty hard to work quickly without being connected and when dealing with cloud data, downloading the data can take quite a while.

“simple to use”
Pros
Working with it feels very easy and building different dashboards is really simple.
Cons
If your databases haven't been cleaned beforehand, using it becomes quite complicated so the data needs to be prepared carefully and patiently before you can really work with it.

“great at data visualization”
Pros
Plenty of customization options make this very approachable to use and the selection of graphs covers most reporting needs really well. Putting together a dashboard or report is quick and the whole process feels efficient.
Cons
The available connectors and supported data sources are fairly restricted. It also falls short a bit when it comes to options for more advanced chart types.

“interactive dashboards”
Pros
Working with Microsoft Power BI has been a really positive experience. It's a powerful business intelligence and data visualization platform that lets users build interactive dashboards and reports using data from many different sources. The interface is user friendly and the level of customization it provides is impressive so it works well for both seasoned data analysts and people who are just getting started with business intelligence.

One thing that I really like is how practical it is for working with information. It has helped me organize charts more easily and with better skill.
Cons
From time to time, it crashes while updating certain information but it is nothing too significant.

“powerful reporting for quality teams”
Pros
Running a company becomes much more manageable with this application especially because it offers very strong tools for building reports and handling databases in the quality area of a business. I would definitely recommend it to anyone responsible for management.
Cons
The price feels a bit high to me and I think the tools could be more customizable and specific depending on the type of report being created.

“custom visuals that really deliver”
Pros
One of the best parts of Power BI is the freedom to build custom visuals. It lets me create and adjust visual elements to match very specific industry and company requirements. The feature I appreciate most is being able to design and use custom, proprietary data visualizations that fit my organization's needs exactly.
Cons
Feels quite rigid when it comes to connecting with non Microsoft apps and third-party data sources. There are workable ways around this limitation but getting there can be pretty frustrating.

“familiar Mircosoft flow”
Pros
Coming from Excel and Word, getting comfortable didn't take long. There's a bit of a learning curve at first but if you already know Mircosoft products, it feels pretty natural to pick up. It also feels simpler to use and better for online syncing than Tableau.
Cons
The pricing is on the higher side. It's still manageable overall and there's a free trial if you're just learning but for a business, the cost can add up quickly.

“useful insights for better decision making”
Pros
A really useful tool for handling my business information and data in a much more practical way. The integration with other apps is also a big plus. On top of that it gives me better visibility and more agility when making decisions across all areas of my business.
Cons
My only concern is around consolidating certain data. After importing an Excel spreadsheet, it didn't recognize the column headers properly and instead treated them as the first row of the table.

“Reliable forecasting”
Pros
Lets us build insightful dashboards from large volumes of data. It helps organize information like KPIs, supports forecasting future needs and delivers impressive visualizations with just a click. That gives the team useful insights and clearly points out areas where there are opportunities to improve.
Cons
You need some training before you can use it properly since first time users may not get the best out of it right away and could even find it a little dull. It would help a lot if there were video demos available for beginners especially around fraud-related use cases so they could benefit from the tool without needing formal training.

Pros
It brings a lot of value when it comes to data visualization through dashboards and reports. It lets you look at data at a very detailed level and that's a big reason it's so popular with management teams across many businesses.

“flexible visuals and solid integration”
Pros
Getting started with the basics is pretty easy and it does a strong job when it comes to manipulating data. The visualizations are generally solid and it's nice that extra functionality can be added through plugins. It also works well across the Mircosoft ecosystem which is a big plus. Another helpful feature is that stakeholders can use a free account to view reports.
Cons
On the downside, sharing settings and permission rules feel more complicated than they need to be. There's a lot of documentation around it but it could definitely be clearer and more simplified. It's also not very obvious how external report sharing is supposed to work or which account types are intended for different users.

“clear visuals”
Pros
Power BI is one of the best tools for visualizing datasets especially with its clear, easy-to-follow templates that make the information simple to understand.
Cons
Even though it offers excellent tools for data visualization, it feels like it falls short when it comes to analyzing that same data. In many cases, the dataset has to be filtered or processed in third-party software first before being brought into Power BI.

“frustrating data refresh feature”
Pros
This software lets you publish the selected data online and the dashboards can be quite advanced while still looking well organized and professional.
Cons
For a small or mid sized business, it feels too heavy. Data refresh is also a real pain since every refresh sends all the data again each time.
