“Workforce insights that improve retention”
Pros
Tableau has completely changed the way we handle performance management for our resources. Its strong data visualization capabilities, along with predictive features, let us analyze each employee's performance in detail and explore new ways to keep morale and efficiency high, while also measuring the results objectively.
Cons
One weak point is how complex the integration with Salesforce can be when trying to use the low-code features. On top of that the software does not scale very well.

“Flex dashboards to match your workflow”
Pros
Building striking, visually appealing dashboards in Tableau is fast and easy. It integrates to most structured data sources so bringing data in takes very little time and you can relate data within the platform to create extra tables for the visuals you want to build. Overall it's a highly flexible tool for data visualization.
Cons
Handling more advanced dashboards or blending data across several primary keys can get tricky within this tool itself and I have ended up creating custom tables in SQL to get the data combined properly. Bigger data sets especially when calculated fields are involved, can slow the software down quite a bit and make dashboards work slow. There are also some interactions or chart adjustments that seem like they should be simple but instead require workarounds to pull off which can be frustrating and take extra time.

“Visual results that speak for themselves”
Pros
Tableau has been an amazing tool to work with. It delivers excellent data visualization and that has helped me a lot when presenting the results of my data analysis.
Cons
Like any unfamiliar software, it takes some time and commitment to learn how to use at first. Once you get past that learning curve though, it works very well.

“Analytical dashboards for data-heavy teams”
Pros
What keeps me coming back to Tableau most is its data analysis capability. It lets me present the data we need to share with customers clearly, using dashboards that pull together a lot of different variables.
Cons
At this point I really do not see anything that needs improvement for the way I use it. It is very simple to work with and easy to understand.

“Mobile access with engaging visuals”
Pros
Coming to Tableau through coursework, I have mainly used it in a classroom setting while studying actuarial modelling and data management. It didn't take long to get comfortable with the platform and building dashboards has been very engaging because the interface seems user friendly. One thing I really like is being able to access it on my phone which makes it convenient to work on data analysis assignments even when I am away from school. In terms of functionality, it integrates well with data sources like Excel and CSV files which are the main formats we use. Once the data is in I can clean it, apply binning to group it for simpler analysis, create visualizations and explain the insights in clear natural language. It also lets me explore predictions using statistical measures like mean, mode and quartiles to estimate the likelihood of certain events based on the data I am working with.
Cons
If you're completely new to it, it can take a while to understand the more complex parts before you can really take advantage of all the features meant for deeper analytics. Still, once you get past that learning curve, it becomes much more enjoyable to use.

“Friendly interface”
Pros
Building interactive charts, graphs and dashboards is easy thanks to the drag-and-drop functionality. The interface is extremely user friendly for both technical and non-technical users and filters make it simple to explore and understand data from different angles. It's also helpful that it can connect to multiple data sources.
Cons
The chart and graph selection still feels somewhat limited and the connector options could be broader. Pricing is also on the higher side.

“Learn quickly and start contributing”
Pros
Right away Tableau's dashboard features stood out and the platform felt very user friendly. I was able to get comfortable with it in about three months and start building solutions for my department without much trouble.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost. It's definitely on the expensive side compared with other data visualization tools so a lower price would make it much more appealing.

“Real-time dashboards with zero lag”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages of Tableau is how quickly it processes files in real time. That makes updating source files while working with live data incredibly convenient. The dashboard creation flow is also very well designed and it feels approachable even for someone using it for the first time.
Cons
The collaboration features still seem like an area that could use some work. We had to do a bit of digging and help several team members with the setup for shared files so that part of the process felt less smooth than it should have been.

“Budget-friendly dashboard solutions”
Pros
Simple to work with, very user friendly and still highly customizable. Tableau is an affordable option for visualizing data and building shareable dashboards or even plots that can be embedded into external websites.
Cons
There's a limit on how many external images you can import into its workbooks. It can also get fairly slow at times with large, heavy tables.

Pros
