There's nothing positive to say about a service that ignores cancellation requests, charges customers against their will and offers no clear way to resolve issues.

This tool has transformed how I run my clinical practice. It greatly reduces my workload, improves compliance and drawing insights from past sessions is extremely helpful. After the initial learning curve, it became a reliable part of my workflow.
Cons
Signup and billing were stressful. The trial is short and I didn't notice clear notice of automatic renewal for a full year. It took a month to resolve the charge with support. keep in mind apply any promo codes during the trial, as they won't be accepted afterward. This friction mars an otherwise superb program.

Cons
I have been trying to delete my account for weeks but the system returns an unable to delete error each time. Despite contacting support via chat and email, my account remains active against my will. This raises concerns about what other personal data they might be holding without consent.

I cannot point to anything good about a service that doesn't work fundamentally and then shirks responsibility when it breaks.
Cons
On my PC the app is unreliable as it freezes when I stop a recording and doesn't save files. Support admitted it's a known issue but offered no fix timeline. They also refused a refund for a service they're clearly not delivering which is unacceptable.

I have been using it for months and find the scribe's main function helpful and usable.
Cons
My biggest issue is pricing and strategy. The offering feels overpriced, especially the monthly per-user API integration fee which hurts small EHR providers. Charging partners for integrations seems counterintuitive when it should drive more customers. New features feel like clutter rather than meaningful improvements and the core ambient scribe capability could likely be replicated internally at lower cost.

Heidi looks like a promising documentation tool. I am staying open-minded and plan to experiment with it as a supplementary resource.
Cons
sometimes it works but it has completely missed transcribing patient accounts more than once. Support said the browser version is inferior to the app but that didn't increase my confidence. For now, I avoid depending on it for critical documentation and still type up every interaction myself.

This has the makings of a useful product. The automated scribe concept drew me in and when it works as intended, it genuinely helps lighten the workload.
Cons
The scribe feature is too inconsistent and often fabricates clinical details, like falsely labeling patients as smokers or heavy drinkers, creating litigation risk. Any time saved is lost correcting errors. It also fails as a learning system, not carrying manual patient info into letters. Support was generic and unhelpful. After months of unresolved issues, I gave up. The app stopped working and the team's excuse felt flippant. It took three days to get a partial refund. This felt less like a medical tool and more like dealing with teenagers.

Cons
The accuracy isn't where I need it. It often omits key elements and invents details, like falsely claiming a patient was a drug user. Such dangerous mistakes make it impossible to justify paying now. I'd be open to a low-risk trial, like a single-month subscription, to evaluate improvements.

The software is genuinely strong at its intended purpose as it does exactly what it promises. The trial matched my needs well and since I was satisfied, I purchased the full product for $800.
Cons
While the Pro trial looked perfect, after paying $800, I found the Halaxy integration crucial for my workflow was disabled unless I upgraded to a $650 Practice license. This tiered pricing feels unfair for a solo practice, forcing an unnecessary upgrade. Without integration, I manually copy notes into Halaxy which waste wasting time. Plsu the pricing feels unfair and not transparent.

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this app. I mean it has not a single redeeming feature.
Cons
As a clinical psychologist, I use it on my Android S24 for long diagnostic interviews. On August 28, 2025, it only transcribed the first 30 minutes and last 5 minutes of a session and everything else vanished. Support said the Android app hadn't been updated and they knew about the issue but didn't notify users. Losing three hours of transcription affected my work and their dismissive response convinced me they cannot be trusted. I won't use HH anymore.

When it functions properly, the generated notes are top notch and useful.
Cons
The service seems to be getting worse, with new technical problems like false cannot hear me alerts. It completely failed to transcribe a 1.5-hour visit, doubling my charting time. The experience has been awful and feels like a breach of trust.

I am struggling to point to anything it does reliably enough to recommend. I paid for a dictation tool that misses about half of what I say. There's really no pro here.
Cons
I have been using Heidi for months and it's getting worse. During dictation sessions, it fails to capture about half of my words in a five-minute recording, often requiring regeneration. Free trials of other tools perform much better. I regret spending nearly $800 AUD on something unreliable and getting a refund has been a struggle.

Absolutely the best support. Joel listened while I explained my goals and frustrations. Even after preparing with all available resources, the issue came down to context and phrasing. Compared to Dragon, Heidi achieves a level of speed and precision I had not experienced. Joel helped me clear that hurdle in about an hour so thank you!

I honestly have nothing positive to share, As per me it's the worst.
Cons
Customer support has been terrible. I paid for the annual plan and expected better. While notes can be decent, the app is awkward to use, slow to generate notes and inconsistent in transcribing sessions. I have to jump between sessions for basic patient info which isn't helpful when busy. I am unsure how my practice can scale with it. The desktop and browser versions produce different SOAP notes from the same custom template. For the price, these issues are unacceptable. After dealing with support today, I am completely dissatisfied.

On my desktop, ambient listening worked well with Google Voice in a browser, even without the recommended setup. I also like the practical workarounds shared like using paragraph as a trigger, specific nouns for snippets or HTML tags for line breaks. I understand some transcription limits come from the underlying OpenAI models and am patient.
Cons
The phone app is a letdown as it won't transcribe phone call audio, making it feel like a glitchy memo recorder. The newer OpenAI transcription option seems worse than the older version and custom vocabulary isn't reliable. There's also a bug where custom templates don't show up right after login. The AI's unpredictable behavior, even with the company's advice to experiment, makes it feel like they don't fully understand the model.

I used to think this app was great but lately it hasn't lived up to that reputation.
Cons
Like others, I found it fantastic until about a month ago. Recently, it started transcribing incorrectly labeling my words as the client's making editing notes take more time than writing them myself. I am trying Novonotes but it's not an improvement. It's disappointing because Heidi felt amazing when it worked. I'd love a pay-as-you-go option, as a monthly subscription doesn't suit my one day a week clinic. Currently, I wouldn't subscribe due to unreliability but I hope it returns to its previous quality.
