One area that could be improved is the GUI. A slight enhancement to the interface would make it even more helpful for all users especially from a usability standpoint.

Using SAC feels very simple for end users, while still offering a range of visualizations that matches current market standards. Its biggest advantage is having reporting, analytics, predictive analysis and above all planning capabilities all included in a single piece of software.

Cons

Data modeling features are not among the most complete so the data usually needs to be modeled beforehand at an earlier layer, such as SAP BW, before it can be imported into SAC.

We used it during the Business Innovation stage to coordinate our services from legacy systems into a new integrated application, while also supporting future service plans all in one place. Communication has become much more aligned and practical and it has been working really well for us since we no longer need a large IT infrastructure because SAP handles the hosting. It also offers a wide range of features for business analysis, report generation and setting up structured workflows.

Cons

One downside is that live connection-based Stories can take quite a while when the data volume is very large. There is also a cap on the number of records that can be loaded into an Import Model and increasing that limit would make it much more practical.

I also appreciate that the reports are well formatted and can be downloaded in Excel-compatible files which is very practical. Being a cloud-based platform is another big plus since it lets me access everything wherever I need it.

Lately it has been running a little slower than before and getting started was a bit challenging at first. Still, once I got used to it, the value it provides definitely made the learning curve worth it.

Getting this tool integrated with non-IT systems is where things become quite complicated. There is definitely a learning curve especially for someone completely new to it and it can be difficult to fully understand at first. On top of that, the pricing is on the higher side compared with other analytics tools.

This platform offers excellent analytics information that can really help shape and improve a marketing strategy. It also comes with plenty of modules you can connect which gives you deeper visibility into your different marketing channels.

The only real downside is the price since it's quite expensive. You have to pay separately for every module you want to use and that can add up quickly. Aside from that, the service they provide is excellent.

The documentation is also well provided and helpful when getting started or figuring things out.

I'd still like to see more third-party integrations included, along with broader support for data sources. It would be even better if the platform could connect with multiple data sources more extensively. Also, the way formulas are calculated and applied to data could definitely be made simpler.

One of the most valuable things about SAP is the way it lets you create your own data and analyze it in depth. It also makes tracking that data very convenient and I appreciate that I can log in from any PC and access everything with just my login details.

Cons

A few tools do not work properly especially when many users are accessing the system from different PCs at the same time and sometimes the data becomes hidden. Another issue is that several tools do not have enough explanation when you need them. Even though SAP is excellent in many areas, fixing typing mistakes after saving data is not very convenient and that part has been really frustrating for me. I hope they improve it.
