Clinical Logic Engine adds clinical reasoning rules to the information captured during an encounter. It can identify details that affect clinical documentation and coding, such as diagnosis qualifiers and required specificity for ICD-10 codes. The engine works with the platform’s AI documentation workflow to connect clinical information with the appropriate documentation requirements. This gives the resulting note more structure than a basic transcript or text summary.
