Sunoh Features
Ambient Listening And Real-Time Transcription
Sunoh features advanced ambient listening and voice recognition technology to capture patient-provider conversations during live visits. It converts speech into detailed, accurate clinical notes instantly, helping clinicians reduce time spent on manual documentation and stay more focused on patient care.
Dialogue Flow Transcript Generation
Sunoh creates a comprehensive transcript of the dialogue flow between patients and providers using AI-powered voice recognition. This ensures that all critical clinical information, including symptoms, assessments, and treatment plans, is accurately captured and organized for documentation.
Structured Clinical Document Draft

Providers can easily review and edit these notes before importing them into the EHR, improving documentation accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Order Entry Support
Sunoh’s clinical drafts include pre-filled orders for labs, medications, imaging, procedures, and referrals recorded during the visit. This real-time capture reduces errors and administrative burden by streamlining the entry of clinical orders directly into the documentation workflow.
Review And Finalization Workflow

“easy documentation”
Pros
From what I've seen, it offers some of the best value for the price among AI medical scribes. It has honestly become a really useful part of how we document patient visits in our clinic. Instead of spending so much time typing during appointments, I can focus more on the patient while the tool captures most of the conversation. Later, it turns those discussions into usable clinical notes which saves me a lot of time every week. That alone has made my workflow smoother and less stressful.
Cons
In my experience the tool is not perfect. Most of the time it works well but I still need to clean up the notes occasionally. This usually happens when the conversation becomes complex or when multiple people are speaking at the same time. I sometimes have to adjust wording or correct small details. Even though this extra step takes time, it is still faster than writing the entire note from scratch.

“Disappointing performance & missed details”
Pros
there is not really much I dislike about it overall. It does a fairly good job summarizing the H&P section during patient visits. However I still find that the summaries need quite a bit of editing afterward before they are ready to be finalized. So while it definitely helps speed things up, it's not completely hands-off yet.
Cons
I've noticed that it can make quite a few errors. In some cases, I end up spending just as much time fixing the mistakes as I used to spend dictating notes myself. Sometimes it even changes things that should not be changed. For example, I once told a patient I would prescribe a steroid ointment but it documented it as a cream which is not the same thing. Dermatologists know that ointments and creams are very different. I've also seen it change diagnoses in the assessment and plan. For instance, when I entered uncontrolled diabetes (E11.65), the system interpreted the conversation and added diabetes without complications (E11.9). That means I then have to move the plan manually to the correct diagnosis. Another limitation is that I cannot train it to follow my preferred documentation style. There is a feedback button asking whether something was helpful but if I click "No," I cannot explain why. Support has also been disappointing when I reported these problems. On top of that, the floating window sometimes blocks parts of the EMR interface so I have to move it around while working. The software can also be glitchy and has occasionally stopped recording in the middle of a visit without explanation. After dealing with these issues, I'm honestly considering canceling my subscription.

“great communication but crashes often”
Pros
how quickly and easily I can communicate with patients and providers through the system. It does not feel complicated or frustrating to use. In fact, the communication process feels smooth and natural which makes everyday tasks much easier.
Cons
it crashes quite often. In my case, it happens at least twice a day. When it crashes, any progress I have made is lost and there is no way to recover the work. that can be extremely frustrating during a busy clinic schedule.
