UserWay Accessibility Widget Features
On Page Screen Reader And Voice Navigation
An integrated screen reader announces page content directly in the browser, paired with keyboard navigation, and optional voice navigation. This helps users who rely on auditory feedback or non-pointer input to move through headings, landmarks, and links with fewer errors and less fatigue.
Accessibility Profiles And User Controls
The widget offers predefined accessibility profiles plus controls for contrast, text size, link highlighting, and legible fonts. Visitors adjust the interface to their needs, which reduces friction for users with low vision or cognitive load, and improves task completion. UserWay Accessibility Widget features also include a reading guide for focus.
AI Powered Remediations And Compliance Aids
Automated remediations target common issues aligned with WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and related standards, while the Pro tier adds compliance helpers like an accessibility statement and legal support program. This combination reduces manual fixes and supports continuous conformance efforts.
Live Site Translations And Language Selector
Built in multilingual support lets sites present widget controls in dozens of languages, with a language selector available on Pro subscriptions. This improves accessibility for non-native speakers and multilingual audiences by keeping controls understandable without separate builds.
Dashboard Management And Multi Site Support
Administrators manage widget settings, branding, and usage across multiple domains from a central dashboard. Team members can be granted access per site to streamline updates. Consolidated control reduces deployment overhead across portfolios or agency client rosters.

“Wcag compliance on autopilot”
Pros
Keeping up with accessibility standards used to eat up a huge amount of engineering time, both at launch and on an ongoing monthly basis. With this in place, there's basically no longer a need for manual accessibility fixes. The AI takes care of WCAG compliance automatically as new content goes live which helps keep our development queue free for other priorities.
Cons
One downside is the big pricing leap between the free plan and the $1,190/year Pro Plus tier. It would be much better if they offered more mid-range options or startup-focused pricing, especially for early-stage companies and healthcare organizations.
