“marketing automation that delivers”

Pros

It stands out for how easy it is to use across its many features. It helps with marketing automation, campaign management and analytics, all in one place. It also makes email advertising very effective and worthwhile.

Cons

The pricing feels like it should be closer to what you would expect from a free application.

“top notch marketing toolkit”

Pros

Built specifically for marketing agencies, this is the most user friendly tool I've come across. It's highly effective and dependable and it helps us manage and analyze our marketing while also handling email advertising. It has been a worthwhile investment for our business especially since it works on mobile. Considering its very competitive price, it offers a wide range of features and integrates well with other social networks and websites which is a real advantage. I would absolutely recommend it.

Cons

We havent run into any major issues while using this app.

“buggy reports”

Pros

Honestly there isn't anything here that I'd confidently recommend.

Cons

Right from the start, the UX felt extremely basic and the platform has fundamental problems with its reporting dashboards. You can't even receive email versions of the reports and the reporting itself is inaccurate. Contacts randomly fall out of campaigns or get stuck at certain stages without any explanation. On top of that CRM prospects were being pushed into the ActiveDEMAND account as admins which is unbelievable. In Pipedrive, you can't set someone up as a lead unless you create a deal first which feels like the most basic functionality to get right. Contact lists would also randomly lose certain contact details for no clear reason and those missing details wouldn't show up in exports either. Even basic unsubscribes from ActiveDEMAND don't always sync into Pipedrive so every unsubscribe has to be manually checked one by one. Importing contacts was another mess because the system would duplicate the upload and leave behind a pile of blank lists so you're left guessing which one actually contains the contacts. Customer support never seemed to understand what was causing any of these issues or why they were happening. Overall, the system is incredibly buggy and this is only a sample of the problems I ran into.

“strong support for marketing and sales”

Pros

Its overall quality is very good especially when it comes to marketing and sales.

Cons

It can also add extra pressure on companies to produce and deliver products and services faster and more efficiently which may end up putting more stress on employees and the team.

“powerful all in one for small business”

Pros

Right away, I got a lot of functionality along with a user friendly experience. It includes pretty much every feature I need which makes it a really good fit for a small business. It honestly feels like a very capable, almost magical tool for day to day use. The best part for me is the product chat feature. I've been using this software for a while now and I'm very satisfied with the service it provides.

Cons

That said, this software is not a perfect solution. Getting support through chat can be difficult at times. It's also a fairly professional platform so users should already have some knowledge of how this kind of software works before using it.

“weak execution”

Pros

The idea behind it really appealed to me. It has the potential to be a killer application.

Cons

What holds it back is the poor overall execution especially the logic behind how it works.

“limited workflow access”

Pros

It's nice to see the platform getting regular updates and new features added on a consistent basis.

Cons

A downside is that with the package I'm currently on, I can't edit my workflows and upgrading to the corporate marketer plan doesn't make sense since our small business doesn't need the extra features or added benefits.

“powerful list filters”

Pros

One of the things I value most in ActiveDEMAND is the list filtering and the email builder/editor. There's a wide range of criteria available for filtering lists which makes it simple to add or remove contacts without any hassle. The email builder is also user friendly overall, aside from a few minor glitches here and there.

Cons

The part I like least about the platform is how long reporting takes to update. I'm not able to view real time results from email campaigns and usually the data doesn't show up until around 24 hours later. If you prefer to keep a close eye on campaign performance, this part of the platform may feel limiting.

“feature packed marketing powerhouse”

Pros

This program covers everything I need in one platform, from marketing automation and lead conversion to account based marketing, plus the power dialer social tools and plenty more that I still haven't even put into use yet.

Cons

Its workflow designer can get a bit slow when working with very large workflows.

“responsive support”

Pros

Whenever an issue comes up, being able to chat with support experts has been a big plus. The replies are quick and the guidance they give usually fixes the problem right away. The reporting tools are also really useful and I appreciate that new features keep getting added and updated regularly.

Cons

One thing that's frustrating is not having access to the workflow editor with my current subscription especially since I don't really need the upgraded plan for the way we use the software. On top of that the pages can take quite a while to load.

“all in one campaign tracking win”

Pros

Having Google Analytics, call tracking and email marketing in a single platform is a big plus because I don't have to jump between several tools just to understand campaign performance. It also connects nicely with PipeDrive and other CRMs which makes full ROI tracking much more manageable.

Cons

ActiveDemand includes pretty much everything you'd expect from a marketing automation platform but at times it feels like it tries to do everything without truly excelling in one area. The interface can be hard to navigate because so many functions are built in and I end up reaching out to support fairly often to figure out the right steps. On top of that some updates have changed previous settings without any warning and that usually only becomes obvious once it starts causing problems.

“affordable call tracking”

Pros

I went with this app because it was the most affordable phone call tracking option I found that still worked with Google Analytics.

Cons

Reviewing calls in the interface could be a bit more user friendly and I also wish the integration with my digital marketing platform, Agency Analytics, was better.
