Pros

Two things stand out equally with this. First, it simply works and it works consistently every single time. Second, the support team provides service that is truly unmatched and that is not a compliment I hand out lightly.

Cons

It is difficult to point to anything I dislike about this. It handles its job quietly and efficiently and whenever I need assistance, the team is right there to help. So the honest answer is really "nothing."

Pros

Staying off the cloud means my setup is more exposed to ongoing changes in Windows and my local network but the team has been incredibly responsive and precise every time I've needed help. Over the years, I've probably reached out to support at least a dozen times and each time they've told me exactly what to do and somehow, it has always fixed the issue. These guys are outstanding.

Cons

Every now and then, getting the PC and phone to connect takes a bit of fiddling. I probably wouldn't deal with that if I were willing to store my data in the cloud but for me it's still absolutely worth it.

Pros

After using this program for many years, I can say it has been incredibly reliable. When I recently upgraded my desktop hard drive, the support team guided me through the entire process and made sure all of my contacts, calendar events and other data stayed intact and transferred properly. Their customer support is truly exceptional and I would absolutely recommend it.

Keeping Outlook synced with my phone without relying on the cloud has been exactly what I needed and this has been a really cost effective solution for it.

I've relied on this app for more years than I can honestly count, starting back when I was using BlackBerrys and continuing now through my last several Android Pixels. My calendar is absolutely essential to how I work and because my email provider still runs on IMAP, I need something that keeps my laptop and phone perfectly in sync. Without AkrutoSync, I'd constantly be dealing with scheduling problems and honestly, I don't think I could have run my business successfully without it.

Cons

It's not completely free of the occasional technical problem and every now and then it does stop working. The upside is that it becomes obvious right away when something is off. Whenever that has happened, the support team has been incredibly fast, efficient and thorough about understanding my setup before walking me through the fix and getting everything running again. I'd easily give their technical support a 10 out of 10.

Whenever it's running the way it should, it does a really solid job syncing everything between my iPhone and computer. One thing I appreciate is that I can update something on either my phone or my computer and the change shows up on the other device right away.

Cons

The app regularly tells me it can't sync with an old phone list and I'm not sure what's causing it. When that happens, I usually end up having to install a newer version of the software on my computer. I also run into occasional issues with the Exchange account becoming unrecognizable and when I try to set it up again, it won't detect the URL it tells me to use so the default options don't work either.

After using it for a long time, it has become a really dependable solution for me. I run a non profit and all of my important information is stored on my computer so I needed a practical way to keep everything synced to my phone. I tried several other apps before this and they all let me down especially when it came to customer service. It has been an excellent value and very affordable and the support has been outstanding. Every app runs into issues once in a while but what matters most is how quickly and correctly those issues get resolved. Whenever I email support, I usually hear back within 24 hours or even sooner and the instructions they provide are accurate yet simple so fixes are always quick and painless.

This app does everything I need it to do and works exactly as expected. The customer support is excellent and I really do not have any complaints.

Keeping my contacts and calendar synced between my laptop and iPhone has been smooth with it which is why I still use it.

Support is reachable but not instantly. On the rare occasion something goes wrong, you have to send an email and wait a few hours for a response. Even a basic chatbot would make a big difference.

I'm really happy with how it keeps Outlook on my PC synced with my Android even after using this app for several years. Recently the sync stopped working but after more than 10 back and forth interactions with the support team, everything is running again. Huge thanks for the persistent support. Now the syncing not only works but it actually feels faster than before. What used to take a day or two is now almost immediate in both directions.

Setting up the Exchange account can be a bit fussy at times. It took several tries and help from customer support to get everything working again.

Most of the time, it just keeps running quietly in the background and does exactly what it's supposed to do so I barely have to think about it. When something does go wrong and I reach out, the support has been excellent. I usually get a personalised reply within hours from an actual named person, with clear and useful advice specific to the issue. They keep the email conversation going back and forth until everything is fully resolved. That kind of hands on help is far better than the usual approach of just sending users to a FAQ page.

One thing that did concern me was that my computer seemed uncertain about letting me access their website and I had to manually override the security warning. I'm not sure whether that points to some kind of licensing issue.

Since February 2016, it has been running reliably for me with almost no hiccups. On the few occasions something did come up, the support team was outstanding and always managed to get the issue resolved.

Only limitations I've run into have really come from other vendors rather than AkrutoSync itself. For example, Samsung Contacts can't handle all the information I store in my Outlook contacts so some contact details end up getting cut off.

After getting everything configured, the software has done a solid job keeping my contacts synced both ways between Outlook 365 and my Android phone. I've been using it for nearly 10 years now and it has been dependable overall.

There was one issue where my phone lost its connection and when it connected again, it couldn't detect the contact changes or new entries I had made so that information ended up being lost.

For years, it has worked flawlessly with my Samsung phone and Outlook. It keeps my contacts and calendar visible and in sync across both devices exactly the way I need.
