“limited API options”
Pros
Working with this has been horrible ever since the company has decided to roll it out across the entire organization.
Cons
From the standpoint of someone who works with the data, the API options are pretty limited and the data it returns comes back in inconsistent formats.

“Solid contact center toolkit”
Pros
Having call management, live chat, email and other omnichannel tools all in one place makes this platform really practical for handling customer interactions. The different features work together well, the interface feels user friendly and the security is solid. On top of that the reporting and analytics offer useful insights that help improve customer service over time.
Cons
Because the platform includes such a broad set of features, it does take some time to learn. Certain advanced configuration settings can be fairly complex and occasional updates or small bugs may mean a bit of troubleshooting. The pricing can also feel high compared with some other options especially for smaller businesses.

“reliable for high volume support”
Pros
Handling a large volume of customer interactions has been pretty easy with PureCloud. We connected it to our CRM and it fits our setup well enough for what we need. The auto assignment feature has also been really helpful especially with a team of around 50 people.
Cons
It's not a major issue but I do wish the reporting tools were a bit easier. It took some time to understand how to build custom dashboards and exporting data for our finance team can be a little frustrating. Even so, it's a small downside in an otherwise solid product.

“powerful integrations”
Pros
You can use this for a wide variety of purposes and its super easy to work with. It's also growing into a real powerhouse when it comes to AI features and integrations with a wide range of services.
Cons
At the same time, the learning curve can be pretty steep for anyone who hasn't been trained or isn't already familiar with the platform.

“useful live dashboards”
Pros
It has been very useful to have several phone tasks running at once. Having the option to record calls whenever needed helps a lot as well. It also offers add ons and connects well with third party tools like Salesforce and PEGA. The web app setup works nicely, the dashboard shows a lot of live data and campaign calling with specific lists is a strong feature. The WhatsApp chat integration for certain campaigns is another big plus.
Cons
There are still a few issues from time to time especially with occasional call bugs. A couple of features feel missing too, such as being able to add post call notes while still on the call. On top of that the Bluetooth headset connection has not been very reliable.

“Strong omnichannel support”
Pros
Having omnichannel support in one place really simplifies customer service, including handing customers off to AI chat or email when needed. It also does a solid job of helping manage customer calls and the network feels secure and reliable.
Cons
pricing is on the higher side and getting comfortable with the platform takes time because the learning curve is fairly steep and requires a good amount of training.

“feature rich platform”
Pros
Something I've consistently valued is how feature rich the platform is and how well it fits a structured sales and support operation at scale. Managing a team of SDRs, the routing, reporting and overall visibility are genuinely solid and give me the control I need to track performance properly. It also syncs well across devices which matters a lot when I'm switching between desktop and mobile during the day. Support has also been dependable over the years especially with more involved issues that need proper follow through. After the initial setup phase, it settles into the daily workflow and performs reliably. It's not meant to cover things like image or video editing but for the job it was designed to handle, it delivers well.
Cons
That said, the out of the box experience feels fairly slow. The interface could really use a refresh because some parts seem outdated and are more difficult to navigate than they should be, particularly for new team members who need extra time and guidance to learn it. It also depends heavily on having internet access and the lack of any meaningful offline functionality is frustrating when you're away from a stable connection. At this price, I would expect a more user friendly setup process and less need for workarounds or extra configuration. Although support is helpful once you get in touch, the self service resources are not always quick or simple to use. It gets the job done but it does not always feel efficient.

“Great CoPilot integration”
Pros
Genesys adding CoPilot has been a really nice upgrade. It makes wrapping up calls and capturing the important details much faster and more convenient.
Cons
When something goes wrong, you usually have to wait on support instead of being able to troubleshoot it on your own. Pulling the reports you actually need also takes more steps than it really should.

“smart call insights”
Pros
Packed with features while still being simple to use and the voice transcription is especially helpful for quickly pinpointing the parts of a call that need our attention.
Cons
The system does cost more than some other platforms in this space with similar feature sets but aside from the price, I really haven't run into any problems with the features or functionality.

“all in one communication powerhouse”
Pros
Everything from phone calls, email and texting being in one platform is a huge advantage. It helps us support customers much more quickly and the built in AI is definitely another big plus.
Cons
If there's a downside to this, it's that the initial setup was a little challenging. It also takes some time to really learn and beyond that, it's one of the more expensive platforms out there.

“handy calling tools”
Pros
Using this deskless calling service has been pretty easy especially for forwarding calls and checking voicemails. One feature I really appreciate is being able to send messages directly to specific team members for feedback and attach notes at the same time. The caller ID, volume controls and overall interface feel well designed. It also automatically links to my device profile with my custom settings and controls which is a nice touch. The directory is very reliable too and reaching someone within the company is quick whenever I need to.
Cons
Ringtone choices and sound customization are very limited which has been frustrating. Most of the options sound too high pitched and become annoying to hear throughout the day. Another drawback is that there's no way to mute or ignore a call coming through our team phone line. Because of that, I end up muting the whole site instead which really doesn't solve the problem. If those issues were improved, I'd consider this product top tier.

“powerful omnichannel solution”
Pros
This feels like a true omnichannel solution as it lets us have voice, chat, email and social all brought together in a single platform. The AI and machine learning features especially predictive routing and sentiment analysis, help improve efficiency in a noticeable way. Another strong point is how quickly the product evolves, with monthly updates that keep bringing new improvements.
Cons
Total cost of ownership can be quite high and some of the more advanced workflows really need developer level expertise to set up properly. I've also noticed that the regional language AI especially for Hindi, Tamil and Marathi, is not as accurate as it is for English which can slow down support for vernacular speaking customers. On top of that it doesn't provide a pure on premise option.

“fantastic connectivity and control”
Pros
Right from the start, it has been simple to use and delivers excellent connectivity. It speeds up calling a lot thanks to how well it integrates with other platforms. Their customer support has also been very approachable and helpful which adds even more value to the overall experience. On top of that the admin dashboard lets you manage every feature in one place, giving you complete control.
Cons
At this point, I really haven't run into any issues with the tool. The only time I needed extra help was during the purchase and initial setup, when I reached out to their team to make sure everything was being done correctly.

“Solid contact center analytics”
Pros
It has been an excellent tool for our contact center. It works really well for handling and navigating calls and the platform is user friendly overall. The reporting and analytics features are also very strong and provide a lot of useful insight.
Cons
There was a bit of a learning curve at first especially when it came to figuring out call transfers and understanding how everything worked. Still, after spending a little time exploring the system, it became much easier to pick up what was needed.

“Useful productivity tracking”
Pros
This platform has been fantastic to use. The platform feels very user friendly and one of the biggest benefits is being able to clearly see my productivity right inside the software.
Cons
My only real frustration is that my company doesn't actually use the scheduling feature in it. There's also an active group chat that everyone gets stuck in and no one has a way to leave it. It would really help if users could remove themselves from that chat.

Pros
Having everything in one place makes a big difference. It brings customer interactions together across multiple channels like voice, chat, SMS and more which makes managing conversations much more convenient.

“clear audio”
Pros
Compared with other softphone apps I've used, this has been a much better experience. Calls don't drop nearly as often and I haven't run into the usual audio problems that come up with similar tools. I'm very pleased with how it performs.
Cons
So far, I don't really have any complaints about Genesys. It has worked the way I expected it to.

“all in one call tools”
Pros
It fits in well with the system we already use at work. Having call history and voicemails together in one place makes things much more convenient as well.
Cons
A downside is that there's no way to customize caller ID unless the company pays extra for that feature across the board.
