“Dashboard provides network visibility

Pros

The part I liked most in ManageEngine OpManager Plus was the dashboard view and the overall visibility it provides across the network. As the dashboards make it simple to keep track of device health and performance and I particularly liked being able to monitor real-time traffic between different sites. The reporting tools are helpful too when it comes to reviewing network performance and troubleshooting problems.

Cons

One area that gave me the most trouble was alert configuration. As I had a hard time setting up email alerts which made it harder to get notified when something went wrong on the network. I did eventually get it working but the setup was definitely frustrating.

Pros

Setting up SNMP credentials one time and then reusing them as we bring in new devices has been really convenient. Plus it seems to be giving us more useful and accurate alerts than what we had before.

Cons

There is definitely a bit of a learning curve but that is pretty normal with any new product going into production. If you have worked with monitoring tools before, it should not be much of a problem.

“excellent alerting and notifications

Pros

Running this for infrastructure device monitoring has been a very positive experience. Overall the platform does a good job keeping track of devices and the alerting and notification features are especially excellent and reliable.

Cons

One area that still needs work is customer support. Like the live chat option should be more developed and overall customer handling could be better with quicker, more proactive resolutions.

Pros

The monitoring and observability capabilities are on another level especially with the Gen AI integration and the security features included.

Cons

At this point I have not noticed any drawbacks. I'd need to spend more time using the tool to give a fair answer but right now I don't see any cons with it.

Pros

Its dashboards and reports are user-friendly and the customization options make it easy to tailor everything to our needs. Plus having IP address management, bandwidth analysis and configuration management all in one platform is a big advantage and makes daily monitoring much more convenient.

Cons

Because the platform includes so many features, getting started can feel a bit overwhelming for new users. And yes the dashboards are customizable but some of the more advanced reporting options or integrations still take extra time and effort to set up properly.

“ideal for end to end visibility

Pros

Having everything in one place really helps with end to end visibility. The platform delivers full-stack monitoring and the built-in ITSM makes it much easier to connect events and understand correlations across the environment.

Cons

One thing that seems missing is stronger event correlation and aggregation especially for complete full-stack observability and monitoring where that capability is really needed.

The full stack monitoring approach really stands out and brings everything together in one place.

Nothing that I dislike as it is working for us!
