“helpful support”
Pros
We've used this platform for more than five years and in all that time there's only been one outage. It was resolved in under an hour so it barely affected our business. The support team has also been very helpful and the pricing is excellent for companies that want a user friendly phone system with plenty of features.
Cons
One limitation is that the phone settings are locked down so if you want to customize things like the phone wallpaper, that option isn't available.

“Simple to use”
Pros
Everything about it is simple and it works really well. The voicemail feature has been dependable too.
Cons
I don't have any complaints. I've got it connected to a UPS so the phone and internet keep working during short power outages.

“flexible calling across devices”
Pros
Using this has been going really well so far and I can access it from my cell phone, computer or a physical desk phone without any hassle.
Cons
It falls short on call center features though especially the ones needed to handle a high volume of calls.

“user friendly call forwarding tools”
Pros
Getting everything up and running was surprisingly simple. Even with very little experience using phone systems, I was able to set up our entire 5 person office on my own. We've been using this for nearly four years now and we've really been happy with it the whole time. Being able to forward calls to other users without any hassle is a big plus and I also appreciate that I can send my desk line to my cell whenever I need to step away. On top of that blocking spam calls and unwanted numbers only takes a click and the whole system feels very user friendly.
Cons
Only thing that took some time was figuring out how to add a new line or phone to our existing account.

“quick back up system”
Pros
One time a phone system completely went down at one of our properties, we got this platform up and running with new phone numbers and remote call forwarding on the incoming lines. The property was back in business in about 45 minutes, including the small adjustments we needed to make. We actually ordered the phones after everything was already set up.
Cons
If you're planning to use Wi Fi on the phones, it's better to start with a network jack that already has internet access so the firmware downloads can go through properly. We ran into a few setup issues because of that and ended up calling support but they were helpful and got us through it.

“outstanding customer service”
Pros
Whenever I need help, Ooma's customer service really stands out. I'm almost never stuck waiting on hold and every person I've spoken with has been friendly, patient and genuinely helpful. It has that personal feel of dealing with a smaller company and they're always very accommodating.
Cons
There was one problem after a system upgrade and I had to call a few times about the same issue but they made it right by crediting me for the time we were affected.

“it was exactly what I needed”
Pros
Since I'm rarely sitting near the office phone and we don't use it all that often, having calls forwarded to my cell has been exactly what I needed. The feature works really well and the pricing for it is low enough to make it feel like a very worthwhile option. That balance between useful functionality and affordable cost is a big plus.
Cons
One downside is that it depends on internet connectivity. It hasn't created any serious problems but it has led to a few minor inconveniences now and then. I also ran into a couple of issues with the app and had to spend some time figuring out certain settings.

Pros
Using my cell phone, I was able to handle calls just like I was sitting in the office which made working from anywhere really convenient.
Cons
A problem I faced was having to purchase an Ooma phone and it was a bit confusing telling the personal and business versions apart.

“works well”
Pros
Having the option to use either an office phone or my cell phone has been really helpful. I don't want to be on my cell all the time so it's nice to have a proper phone system for work. It also works well when I travel because I can stay connected over Wi Fi and with the adapter I'm able to hook up my phone and keep using the system that way.
Cons
A few of the features seem more designed for larger businesses than a smaller operation like mine.

“Great to use while travelling”
Pros
I don't always want to be tied to my mobile so it's nice to have a separate phone system for work. It's also been very convenient when I travel since I can stay connected over Wi Fi and use an adapter to hook up my phone so it still works wherever I am.
Cons
Some of its features seem more suited to bigger businesses than mine.

“Customer service helps”
Pros
At the end of the day, it does the job and the customer service team is generally helpful. Sorting out voicemails can be a bit frustrating at times especially when calls go unanswered or when trying to improve the voicemail quality. There are also moments when support ends up making the issue more confusing instead of fixing it.
Cons
Biggest frustration has been the Google verification spam, along with random calls and constant spam reaching our office way too often, seemingly because of this platform somehow.
