“misleading cancellation policy”

Pros

We originally started on their older Flash based platform and later moved over to the newer version once it was released.

Cons

Their claim that you can cancel anytime is misleading. If you sign up for one of their promotional deals, they can automatically renew you at the full price when the term ends which is exactly what happened to us. We contacted them on the very first day of the unauthorized renewal to request a refund but they refused. They then stopped the service even though they had already charged us three months in advance and to this day they have neither delivered the service we paid for nor issued a refund. We are currently pursuing legal action and plan to share the outcome publicly. On the product side, the SMS feature is unreliable. If a carrier flags your texts as spam for any reason, their system keeps sending messages into the void, wasting sends and it can sometimes take a full day for them to issue a new code so you can restart the campaign. If you want to keep track of it properly someone would need to watch the screen constantly and monitor sends every few seconds which is completely impractical. The IVR and RVM speeds are also lacking and if you want higher speed, the added cost is significant. After leaving this company, we found far better technology at much better pricing.

“valuable boost for marketing”

Pros

This keeps our restaurant customers informed about events and special promotions which has led to noticeably better results. It has become an important part of my marketing strategy and the platform is simple to use while still being reasonably priced.

Cons

I really haven't run into any issues worth pointing out.

“fast lead follow up”

Pros

Keeping up with my real estate leads is exactly where this software helps most. It's fast, simple to use and does the job really well. My time matters and this has been effective enough to deliver solid ROI.

Cons

The mobile app could use more frequent updates although it still works well overall.

“helpful support team”

Pros

Adding this product has created a strong extra source of revenue for our company while we explore more ways to support our customers with their marketing. The team has also been very helpful in guiding us through how to use the software and get up to speed with it.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is a pay as you go option but that doesn't appear to be available at our current level.

“keeps everyone infromed”

Pros

At our music and performance school, this has been the best way to keep parents and students updated on closures, important schedule changes and upcoming events. It has worked much better than the other methods we used before, like email and flyers.

Cons

I haven't used any other similar service to compare it with but I honestly can't point to any specific drawbacks. It does everything we need it to do.

“Risk free trial”

Pros

Having fully unlimited usage was a big plus and the risk free trial made it even better. When I first used it, I only needed the service for a few days so I canceled my account and received my refund that same day. The whole process was very smooth and a few months later I came back and have been using them ever since.

Cons

They don't offer text to speech but their support team connected me with another company that quickly integrated voice to text through the Stratics Networks API.

“confusing reports”

Pros

They do have an unlimited package I'm interested in using but I started out by trying their $99/month trial plan first.

Cons

The platform feels complicated and its functions and reports are not very clear to understand. I had to contact technical support many times just to figure out why my campaign wouldn't go through. On top of that I ended up calling repeatedly to understand their terminology and make sure I was interpreting everything correctly.

“awful billing experience”

Pros

Nothing really stood out to me, the app hasn't made a big difference in my work.

Cons

Our one month paid trial didn't produce any results for us yet we were still billed for 8 months even though it was only supposed to be a one month trial.

“useful unlimited messaging”

Pros

Customer service matters most to me and they've really delivered on that. The platform also comes with plenty of features centered on ROI and analytics which has been a big plus. Another thing I appreciate is that it's unlimited so I'm not paying per minute or per use for ringless voicemail and SMS. At the start, I had a few questions and scheduled a training and whenever I call someone actually answers the phone.

Cons

Only thing I'm not a fan of is having to agree to the terms every time I log in though I understand why it's there and it only takes a second.

“misleading billing and cancellation”

Pros

Their sales presentation and promotional materials are very polished and convincing and they do a good job of getting you interested enough to try the service.

Cons

Their sales pitch was strong but the actual experience was a mess. I only signed up because that was the only way to fully see what was offered and I called to cancel almost immediately after enrolling. Even though I was told I would not be charged, I still ended up being billed. When I called back, the same representative told me it was only fair to pay for one month. I disagreed but accepted that and clearly asked again for the membership to be canceled. Apparently, that never happened. Our organization keeps a law firm on retainer and I am more than willing to have them reach out about this. Please cancel the membership I originally requested to end within minutes of signing up especially since I have never used any of the services. And this should not be handed back to the same salesperson because he has not acted honestly.

“Useless software”

Pros

Honestly, there wasn't a single thing about it that worked well for me.

Cons

Having to log in every time and then click "Accept" on the terms of service again was just a pointless waste of time. The RVMs were basically unusable because the contact list I had was mostly cell phone numbers. I ended up trying a few IVR campaigns instead and the only people who ever pressed 1 to be transferred were calling to be added to the DNC list even though pressing 2 would have automatically put them on the DNC. Pretty much every part of it was frustrating. The system was a nuisance to move around in, uploading phone lists felt like a chore, having to accept the terms of service every single login got old fast and even getting a campaign started was more trouble than it should have been.

“lowest cost RVM value”

Pros

Running high volume RVM campaigns with Stratics has been a very cost effective option. The unlimited RVM package every three months keeps the price per voice message lower than anything else I've come across. Even with the lower cost, delivery quality and tracking haven't seemed to suffer at all and that's been important. It has handled what we needed really well and we've been very satisfied with the results.

Cons

Compared with Slybroadcast, the interface feels less polished and not quite as user friendly. That said, this still delivers the same job at a lower price which is the main reason it stands out.

“offers huge range of features”

Pros

There's a huge range of features available especially for Ringless Voicemail Drops and the PrecisePoll IVR polling tool.

Cons

The platform feels like it could use an update although I've heard an HTML5 version is supposed to be coming soon.
