B2W Maintain Features
Repair Requests And Work Orders
Mechanics and office staff can write and manage detailed repair jobs directly on a computer or a mobile device, no matter where they are. The process allows maintenance tasks to be easily created and assigned, with drag and drop control over the work schedule. This makes work easier for the mechanic because their location, the equipment's location, and the job schedule are all shown together.
Warranty Management
B2W Maintain software keeps a complete record of all warranties for equipment, parts, and smaller components. The system is smart enough to automatically create a warning (a notification) about an active warranty right on the repair ticket. The office also receives automatic reports that provide an early heads-up when any equipment warranty is going to run out.
Maintenance Coding And Reporting
Setting up special codes for different types of maintenance work is easy for the maintenance team. Contractors use these organized codes to explain exactly what maintenance was done, including the problem, the cause, and the final fix. This information creates trustworthy reports and charts that the company uses to see how well their maintenance is working.
Real Time Visibility And Access
A single main database instantly gives current information about all open work orders and mechanic time records to authorized managers. Even when out in the field, employees can check the status of repair requests and see every unassigned job that needs attention. This central spot allows easy viewing of planned maintenance, equipment locations, and the complete repair history of each machine.

“Responsive team and strong potential”
Pros
It started with a simple idea and as that idea turned into something real, the value became obvious very quickly. From there, it naturally opened the door to other needs and opportunities. The part I appreciate most about this product is the ongoing dialogue between our team and the product development team. Those conversations consistently lead to strong ideas and then we actually see those ideas become important tools that better support our team as we work toward world-class equipment maintenance. That continued collaboration is a big reason I feel Maintain separates itself from other options in the market.
Cons
A lot of what could be called "cons" really feels more like normal growing pains. Most of the frustrations we have are tied to features that just have not been built out yet and "yet" is the important part. That said some of those growing pains are definitely around the need for more advanced and customizable reporting, dashboards, alerts and notifications. The current reporting tools are pretty basic and limited. It is difficult not being able to build custom reports on our own without depending on someone else. The dashboards have value but they still fall short of what we need when it comes to customization, user groups and security roles. On top of that, without alerts or notifications, our team still struggles to stay on top of newly created requests or to notify requestors when their request has been completed. Even with those issues, we still see them as part of a product that is evolving. We know many of these needs are already being worked on and honestly, we are just impatient because we want them now. Even so, we are looking forward to seeing what the B2W Maintain development team delivers this year. Our expectations are definitely high and we are hoping they bring their A game.
